On the forum they write that the difference is almost 5 mm, however, my rail is with the BB index, and the dimensions of the native silent block are like those of the rail without the BB index. Some kind of garbage.

PS. A big request to the owners of Tig with a steering rack without BB in the number: Measure the diameter of the steering rack closer to the place where the clamp is attached to the steering rack.

Check the smooth operation of the assembled part of the rail. A new centering sleeve is placed in the back. Then put an O-ring on it. In a special vice, the oil seal is pressed into the back plate. The prepared rear support is installed in the steering rack and screwed on. When the assembly is complete, the rail is checked for smooth operation and the absence of leaks, and the force from which it is put into operation is checked.

3. Unscrew the union nut of the high pressure hose tip ...

On Chery Tiggo cars, steering is installed with a gear-rack-type steering mechanism, equipped with a hydraulic booster (Fig. 8.1), and with a tilt-adjustable steering column (Fig. 8.2). The steering gear consists of two steering rods connected by ball joints to the steering knuckle arms of the front suspension.
The pressure of the working fluid in the hydraulic booster is created by a vane-type pump, which is installed on the engine and is driven by a poly V-belt. If the power steering fails, the vehicle is still able to steer, but the effort on the steering wheel increases.

The steering housing is installed in the engine compartment and bolted to the front suspension cross member.

The steering column shaft is connected to the steering gear shaft by an intermediate shaft with two cardan joints. An energy-absorbing damper is installed in the upper cardan joint (Fig. 8.3) of the intermediate shaft, which increases passive safety.

The steering column is equipped with an anti-theft device in the ignition lock that blocks the steering wheel shaft from turning. The steering column also houses the controls for the headlights, direction indicators, washer and wiper for the windshield and tailgate glass, combined into a block of steering column switches.
