We bought the ELECTROLUX EDC3150 dryer together with the ELECTROLUX washing machine. More precisely, I did not know anything about this purchase, but as I found out, I was outraged. My opinion was unequivocal - a waste of money. Drying can also be done on ropes, especially since we were planning to move to a new large apartment. How quickly my perspective on this technique changed when I tested it in action. After the purchase, a place for the tumble dryer was found in the bathroom above the washing machine. For this, the kit includes fasteners. A floor-standing option is also possible.
In terms of its dimensions, the ELECTROLUX EDC3150 tumble dryer is comparable to a washing machine, so an advice to all comers is to plan the installation site in advance. It is advisable that in 2-3 meters around the perimeter there are no other furniture that, under the influence of hot air, may become unusable over time.
Almost the entire volume of the drying cabinet is occupied by a laundry drum with a capacity of up to 65 liters. And the maximum load of laundry is 3.4 kg. Better to follow the manufacturer's recommendations. I somehow loaded much more than the norm, the laundry did not dry out and I had to repeat the cycle.
The control panel is easy to use. There is a power button and a regulator for setting the drying time, thanks to which you can select drying for two types of fabrics - cotton and synthetics. Under the power button there are two indicators "the machine is on" and "the condensate tank is full".
There is a filter on the door of the drying cabinet.
Speaking of ironing. I almost forgot about her too. You take things out of the drying room, preferably immediately, while they are warm, and all that remains is to fold and distribute them among the cabinets. The only exceptions are complex things, men's shirts will not be ironed and trousers along the arrows will not dry out either. And there are no problems with bed linen and knitwear, even children's clothes have ceased to be ironed.
In terms of time, the drying process, depending on the selected program, takes about one and a half hours. A full cycle from the moment of washing is 3-4 hours. If anyone is faced with the choice of buying a separate drying cabinet or a washing machine with a drying function, then I am in favor of logic. More items can be washed and dried in the same time using a drying cabinet. While there is one batch of things in the dryer, another is spinning in the washing machine.
Now about the minor flaws.
Dryer ELECTROLUX EDC3150 is noisy, it cannot be compared to the engine of a roaring plane, but like any other equipment in working order it makes noise. I try to guess the time when to start it in the breaks between the child's sleep. And I, too, would not have been able to fall asleep under it.
The second point that upset me in the initial stages of getting to know this dryer is a couple of spoiled things. After incidents with irreversibility of favorite things in the wardrobe, you have to carefully read the labels on the clothes. In the absence of labels, I reinsure myself and set the cycle for a shorter time. About time again. The knob for setting the drying time during the process displays the time already worked and the time that remains until the end of drying. As for me, it is so convenient.
I consider it necessary to write about one more point. Dryer ELECTROLUX EDC3150, probably like any other drying machine, heats up the room in which it is located quite well during operation. Personally, this does not bother me much with a bathtub area of 8 square meters, but for many with a smaller area, this fact can be a problem.
