In detail: afterburner 302 DIY repair from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.
The interface panel only displays information and has the inscription G-R-P-Z in its firmware, and all other symbols and the operation of the device are crammed into the microcontroller on the inverter board.
I didn't understand how to insert the picture, so on the ATmega165-16AI, you need to measure analog plus 5 volts (legs 62 and 64) As well as digital plus five volts (legs 21 and 52).
Most likely one of these meals is missing.
MK on the display panel independently draws the inscription GRPZ, after which it refers to the central MK, which is located on the large board. If he does not receive an answer, for the reason: 1. Failure of the MCU on the board. 2. No 5 volts per micron. 3. Breakage of communication between the panel and the inverter board. Then the inscription of the GRPZ will remain and nothing else will work.
There have never been any failures in MK. If your failure, then be the first. The cliffs were not the same. But the shorted 5 volts were a couple of times due to the ingress of metalized dust on the feet of the prots.
If the display board is faulty, then it will not write the GRPZ when it is turned on.

A small review about the device. photo taken from the Internet
bought it from the hands of a new one. issue 12.14 took a partner
made clumsy: on the body, an incomprehensible afterburner button, a peeling piece of paper (or what it is) with a description of the panel, 16 bayonets (25 is needed for 200 amperes, but time will tell) and most importantly no on / off VRD (safe open circuit voltage).
brews AT THE LEVEL... lincoln Invertec 270SX these are on certification. the afterburner does it (but this is a test at a short distance). did not even expect this from him. It holds the arc, the anti-stick works (the first device in my practice that works) everything is fine for myself I want this. but there is a very bad point no on / off VRD which will make you remember someone's mother =) this is probably the only thing he needs. further in the season we will drive him in black! let's see how tenacious
so fix the design and add on / off and occupy the market =) but also a full-fledged pen for him and finally a sweetie

How! I have had such a device for three years now, and I haven't done a review.
Well, I'll stick to someone else's glory.
About disabling the BSN at the Fast and the Furious-200M on WebSvarka has already been. I'll drag it here.
I turned off the BSN and never regretted it. Although, I regularly work in a humid environment. Do not forget about TB and everything is fine.
As for the welding characteristics, I completely agree. The device brews very well with electrodes with both rutile and basic coating. Moderate voltage spread in the network from the nominal - forgives (+/- 20%) Excessive - causes the device to go into protection. Hot start-switchable by button on the panel. The display panel shows both the preset value of the welding current (in flashing mode) and the real arc current. Measured the arc current with an ammeter. The readings do not diverge. In principle, 16 bayonets, if you follow their tightening and cable termination, serve for a very long time. Apparently, Ryazan did not put the 25th, proceeding from considerations of compactness of the layout of the device. The best thing about this device is that such a small welder has the ability to connect a remote control. Very handy when working in cramped conditions with parts requiring different welding currents.

For example, I like this design more than the licked forms of some devices.
And plastic is somehow noncomilfo.
But a hinged plexiglass cover for the control panel would probably be nice.

AMBIVERT42 , with such reviews of the device, will give him fame and the manufacturer will pay attention to children's sores (I think so).
gonta , by design to me rehm freak. The cover is rather needed when there are many buttons, like a tig welding or an electronic board in general, I don't see the point in this. and by the way, by the way, you can sell it as an additional device
So comrade welders are reviewing all our equipment, we will simplify the life of ourselves and others.

George 11 , can also be considered as a minus, but this is a minus to the younger models =)

The GRPZ is paying attention, I know.

junior models do not have it.
So the younger ones are cheaper.

How is the Fast and the Furious 200M fundamentally different from the Fast and the Furious 200?
The possibility of a remote current regulator and a digital display is understandable.

Rudolph Schnapps, apparently nothing, well, the weight is 100 grams more. but I found that hot old at 200 does not turn off (there is no button)

How is the Fast and the Furious 200M fundamentally different from the Fast and the Furious 200?
Power supply nothing, except that they added an output choke and a voltage boost.
The 200M also has a current sensor,
which outputs an accurate current reading.
And of course there is a setting and indication panel.

Good day to all. I have a question about the afterburner, although the quality of welding is declared at the level of Europeans, but even so I am tormented by vague doubts. And the point is what I work on gas. I bought myself an EWM Pico 180 after suffering various rubbish, but even then the fate of the villain threw me a crap in the form of a defective device, that is, out of almost two years of ownership, I worked with it for 4 months at most, the rest of the time he goes to Moscow for repairs from Moscow back to Yakutia and back after a couple of days of work for repairs to Moscow. The question is, is it possible to boil a 40 tube with a 3.0 3.5 mm wall with a reverse roller as expected under X-ray with the afterburner without unnecessary hemorrhoids without interruption, regardless of the spill in the network and its fluctuations within the limits declared by the manufacturer, i.e. from 140 volts naturally with a 2.6. This criterion is the most important for me in the apparatus. namely, the ability to steadily burn a lbashka at currents close to the minimum. all the devices that I tried according to this criterion to Pico 180 do not reach and are close,
and if the electrode is ignited at a low current, then the bath turns out to be large after heating, and the arc does not create pressure sufficient to squeeze out the reverse roller. And yet another not unimportant criterion at the level of nagging, how is the noise from the fan? Fubag 206 after 10-12 hours of work next to him blows up the brain, and turning it off from the power supply causes about the same feelings as after 8 liters of beer they finally let go.

No problem. In the low-ampere range, the Forsage-200M works very well.
despite the tension in the network and its fluctuations within the limits declared by the manufacturer, i.e. from 140 volts
And here is an ambush. With overvoltage and undervoltage (below 180 and above 240 V), the device goes into protection.
And yet another not unimportant criterion at the level of nagging, how is the noise from the fan? The fan is very quiet and does not work constantly, but is turned on by the command of the temperature sensor.

AMBIVERT42, and what is his NHX at 220 in the network?
With overvoltage and undervoltage (below 180 and above 240 V), the device goes into protection. interesting fact. And on the official website it is stated from 140 volts. And in defense - at 120. Indeed, an ambush.
AMBIVERT42 16 Feb 2016
What is his HXX at 220 in the network? Approximately 94 V.

Thank you. it turns out that I have no alternative other than pico. because you have to work anywhere from the networks on which it is hung so that the sponge sags.

It's a shame for our producers, they cannot bring to mind what is, even with a rise in price, but not worse than the Europeans. But half the price. Pico 180, stands now, INTO a toad strangles 85 to rubles, really our specialists cannot make a complete analogue for 40 rubles. just not on paper, but in real life. I think the demand would be, because they buy 162 e at fifty dollars in Yakutsk for gas workers

Thank you. it turns out that I have no alternative other than pico.
This is the first time I meet such a masochist, the device is under repair all the time, and he is happy.
but not worse than the Europeans.
The fast and the furious are no worse. As far as I know, let the electronics engineers correct me, but Pico 162 dies from voltage surges, it is possible that 180 dies from the same. In Pico, there is nothing that would work from 140, even from 160, with such a voltage in the network, the electrode will only spark, since the voltage drop when the electrode is closed will fall below 100V, and all this video is on LATRA where they sit industrial network, for the very naive and gullible.
AMBIVERT42, can you compare your Pico and Fast and Furious on a dead network?
