Cars of these models are available in sedan, hatchback and compact versions with gasoline and diesel engines.

The Mazda 323 is powered by a water-cooled, four-cylinder in-line engine located across the direction of travel.

To prepare the working mixture, depending on the model, either a carburetor or an electronic fuel injection system is used, which, as a rule, does not require maintenance.

The front wheels are driven via a manual gearbox or a 3 or 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Mazda 323 is also available in an all-wheel drive version. Additional elements are required to drive the rear wheels. The drive of the front and rear wheels is connected by a cardan shaft. The propeller shaft drives the rear wheel differential, from which two drive shafts extend to the rear wheels.

The steering gear is located to the left of the engine and is connected to the steering levers by means of rods. Some models are equipped with power steering.

The braking system consists of a brake master cylinder, a brake booster, disc brakes on the front wheels and drum brakes on the rear wheels. Some models also have disc brakes on the rear wheels.

Depending on model Mazda 323 from 10/89 can be equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS).

general, it will be faster. first, go to the registration procedure, now you have your password and login, you are individualized 🙂 I advise you to indicate your mobile phone as a phone.

to order a spare part, you first need to find its code, but since there are only European Mazda in the exist, the spare part code should be looked for here or (more correct information is also Russified), in addition there is a catalog here for this you need to enter your body number, then find a spare part and find out its code, well, after that, go to the exist and pick up the product by the code, it is usually cheaper to take a non-original, the quality is IMHO the same, unless the price is quite cheap. After that, you go to the exist's office in your city and pay for the order, and after a while it is delivered to you.

In 1963, a rather ordinary-looking golf-class car was shown to the public, which, however, quickly gained popularity and "founded" a whole family of cars - this was the first generation Mazda 323. When by 1980 the second generation Mazda 323 came out - this car already differed from the front drive, and five years later - in 1985 - the first generation of this model was demonstrated for the first time.

When the fourth generation Mazda 323 came out - it happened in 1989 - the creators of this generation decided to make all modifications a little more individual, and made sure that each car received a rather unusual interior and exterior, while leaving the technical side unchanged. Under the hood of the fourth-generation Mazda 323, engineers have installed an engine capable of delighting owners with a capacity of 185 hp. with a volume of 1.8 liters.

Then the company's specialists began to work on the fifth generation Mazda 323, and this work lasted from 1994 to 1998. It should be noted that the work was quite productive, otherwise it would hardly have been possible to achieve three upgrades of the same model in just four years of production.

For example, the first generation was left with the old control panel, and from August 1995 to October 1996, when the second generation was launched, the Mazda 323 appeared in sales centers with an improved and more adapted center console for modern needs, and with a new emblem, which was made in the form lotus icon.

The period from October 1996 to June 1998 was marked by the release of the latest versions of the fifth generation Mazda 323. This car had more and more differences from the first versions - the emblem decorating the radiator grille, acquired the shape of a flying bird, the shape of the mirrors and the dashboard changed, an additional stop appeared. signal.

At that time, there were three representatives of the fifth generation at once - a 5-door and 3-door hatchbacks and a sedan. The line of gasoline engines included four units, with the weakest of them, which produced only 73 hp. and had a working volume of 1.4 liters, intended only for 3-door hatchbacks and sedans.

The rest of the petrol engines are a 1.5-liter unit with 88 horsepower, a 1.8-liter unit with 114 horsepower and a 2-liter V6 with 144 horsepower. In addition, there were several diesel engines in the engine line - the first with an atmospheric volume of 2 liters and a power of 71 hp, and the second - a 1.7-liter, turbocharged and 82 hp.

Almost all versions of the fifth generation Mazda 323 worked with a 5-speed manual transmission, but there were also such “copies” on which an automatic transmission was installed.

The year 2001 brought the model some changes - the designers worked on the exterior of the car, as a result of which it acquired a more aggressive and expressive appearance.

Engineers also contributed by working on the engine range - the 1.5-liter engine was replaced with a 1.6-liter engine capable of delivering 98 hp. They also got rid of the 1.8-liter engine - instead of it, a 2-liter 131-horsepower engine was installed on the Mazda 323, which was previously used mainly by the 626th model.

We added power to the two-liter turbodiesel - it began to produce 11 more "horses". Only the small 1.3-liter engine remained the same with 72 horsepower.

The Mazda 323 model existed until 2003, when the company's lineup was replenished with a new car with a new name - Mazda 3.

The car needs a shock absorber so that the driver does not feel all the pits and bumps in the road on his own fifth point. It is the shock absorber that softens the shocks and returns the wheel to its original place. Sometimes extraneous noises appear in it. Worse if it bursts or cracks. In this case, its replacement is definitely needed.

It is rare that the ignition moment is shifted due to constant mechanical stress. Despite this, the problem of ignition timing exists in the Mazda 323, therefore the manufacturer recommends routine checks of this element. In addition, if the distributor was dismantled, then you will definitely need to check and adjust the ignition timing on the Mazda 3. To check this moment, you need to have two devices - a tachometer and a stroboscope.

Bumpers protect your vehicle from external factors. These factors can be various pebbles, sticks, debris, insects, animals, and sometimes even people. In addition, it is a small impact softener. It also stores the wiring elements of electrical appliances. Sometimes the bumper is changed as needed, sometimes at will, due to small scratches and chips that appear very quickly. So, how does the replacement of bumpers on the Mazda 626 take place?

The carburetor has not been used on new car models for a long time. But, if you have a Mazda 323, then this particular device must be installed on it. It is needed in order to prepare the right mixture for the engine. Time and poor fuel can quickly cause this device to malfunction, so you need to be prepared to replace it.

Clutch problems on the Mazda 3 can be very different - they are jerks, and subsidence, and clamps. In any case, you will need to replace the clutch on the Mazda 3.

Foreign cars are manufactured for road conditions that are close to their country. Since the roads in Japan are flat, the Mazda 626 suffers a lot when it comes to the post-Soviet space. Any suspension can be destroyed with our roads. Even some tanks will be out of order after driving on our highways, not to mention the suburban roads. But now is not about that. The consequence of bad roads is the destruction of car parts.

The heater fan is needed in order to be able to control the intensity of air supply to the car interior. Without this element, air would enter the passenger compartment too slowly, and warming up in the car took not a couple of minutes, but several hours. Depending on the year of manufacture, there are different fans in the Mazda 323.

The steering wheel is needed in order to transfer forces from the hands of a motorist, to the wheels of a car and to perform maneuvers on the road. If a wheel is faulty, then it requires immediate intervention, because it is impossible to drive with such a breakdown and is life-threatening. At any time, the wheels can turn themselves wherever they want.

When replacing brake discs, it is often necessary to bleed the brakes. The same procedure is sometimes done after a long operation of the car, since over time the braking efficiency decreases, no matter how carefully you drive. The main reason for this action is the ingress of air into the brake system. And if the brake hose was disconnected from the caliper for some time due to repair work, then only a certain caliper can be pumped.

The fuel pump is responsible for ensuring that at any given time there is as much gasoline in the engine as the driver desires by pressing the accelerator pedal. If he wants to go fast, then there must be a large amount of fuel, if slowly - a little. It is located on a holder in the fuel tank. Very close to the fuel level sensor. Since gasoline emits toxic substances when it evaporates, dress so that there is no open area left. You only need to work with gloves on. In addition, you should always have a gas mask nearby.
