I even used the services of an online consultant of one of the brand's salons, but he did not help me much. In the end, I nevertheless removed the lamp, albeit by scratching my hand a little on the sharp plastic of the edges of the hole in the headlight unit. It turns out that the lamp just sits tightly in its socket and it just needs to be pulled with effort. But doing this is inconvenient. However, the dipped beam lamp has to be changed infrequently, so we will assume that this task is quite feasible.
Rear light bulbs
If necessary, replacing the lamp in the tail light is indispensable without a tool. To do this, you will have to remove and disassemble the entire headlight. But with a Phillips screwdriver and pliers, this is not a problem. After removing a few clips of the trunk trim and removing the trim itself, you can get close to the back of the lamp and disconnect the connector with wires to connect it. Then unscrew the only retainer of the lamp holder. Pulling the entire lamp towards you, as the car goes backwards, the entire block comes out of the guides and remains in your hands. Using a Phillips screwdriver, the screws for securing the back cover are unscrewed, which must be carefully separated from the lamp so as not to damage the seal. All lamps remain on the back cover and can be easily removed. It is easy to assemble the lantern and put it back in place by performing all operations in reverse order.
Thus, replacing the lamp and fuse in the Peugeot 301 is possible, but rather troublesome. If you do not have your own tool, and you do not consider it useful for yourself to find out the headlight device and the fuse diagram, then it is better for specialists to change the lamps and fuses in your car. But if the service station is far away or expensive for you, a “handy” colleague will help you to do it in half an hour and, probably, half a liter.

4. We take out the battery

- A malfunction of the direction indicator (left or right) is indicated by the rapid blinking of the corresponding indicator on the instrument panel.
- Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise ⅛ turn and remove it.
- Take out the lamp and replace it. Reinstallation is carried out in reverse order.
- Bulbs with yellow bulbs (used in direction indicator lamps and side repeaters) should be replaced with bulbs with the same technical parameters and bulbs of the same color.
- When reinstalling, carefully close the protective cover to ensure the headlamp is sealed.
- Remove the protective cover by pulling on the tab on the tab. Disconnect the harness connector from the lamp.
- Fold the tab to the side to release the lamp.Take out the lamp and replace it.
- Reinstallation is carried out in reverse order.

- Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the lamp in an upward direction.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp.
- Take out the lamp and replace it. Reinstallation is carried out in reverse order. If you have any difficulty in replacing these bulbs, you can also contact a Citroën / Peugeot dealer or a specialist workshop.
- Pry the repeater with a screwdriver,inserting it in the middle between it and the surface of the body.
- Using a screwdriver as a lever, remove the repeater assembly. Disconnect the wiring connector from the repeater.
- Replace the module.
- Reinstallation is carried out in reverse order.The complete repeater can be purchased from a Citroën / Peugeot dealer or a specialist workshop.
