In detail: why does a Bosch washing machine make noise when spinning? DIY repair from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.
Extraneous noise in the operation of the washing machine is an important signal that indicates a failure in the system or a malfunction of any parts. If you ignore the problem, serious problems can form, requiring a large investment in equipment repair. Therefore, when it is found that the washing machine makes noise during spinning or reproduces sounds unusual for it, you should as soon as possible figure out why this is happening and how to eliminate the cause in a timely manner.
Equipment with rather simple design characteristics, if used incorrectly, can reproduce incomprehensible sounds. Often, the device rattles during a heavy load, for example, at the time of wringing out things. Let's take a look at some of the typical reasons equipment can make a lot of noise.
After transporting and installing the unit, the specialists did not remove the bolts intended for firm fixation during transportation of the unit.
With prolonged use or improper balancing, the bearings have been destroyed.
Foreign objects have fallen into the space between the drum element and the tank body.
Loose pulley from reservoir drive system.
Counterweight elements are poorly fixed.
A cover seal was used that does not fit the hatch.
The installation process of the unit was not carried out according to the rules specified in the instructions for use.
To understand why the equipment rattles, you should study each of them in detail and compare the "symptoms".
Regardless of which washing machine is installed - LG or Indesit, the elements that get into the inside of the equipment will produce the same effect - loud noise during the operation and spinning of the device, grinding and rattling as when rolling.

According to the statistics of service center specialists, 86% of calls are related to the ingress of foreign objects into the working mechanism.
At the time of loading the laundry, not everyone thinks about the fact that all contents should be taken out of the pockets of clothes. Often, loading takes place in a fast mode, but later it turns out that not only money was washed, but also keys, tickets and even mobile phones. In order not to be upset with such situations after completing household work and not to spend money on repairing the washing machine, you should take a responsible attitude to the process.
At low revs, the equipment practically does not reproduce vibrations, so small objects do not give a signal that they are already in the device's case. However, at the moment of spinning, all the garbage begins to bounce, some of which falls into the area between the walls of the unit and the functioning parts of the washing machine, due to which whistling, noise and crackling are reproduced.
In order to get rid of foreign objects, of course, from the noise of the washing machine, you need to pull out the heating element, reach the area of accumulation of objects with your hand and get everything that has accumulated during operation.

This is a rough and common problem for washing machine installers. The bottom line is that for proper transportation, the manufacturing company provides special fasteners that are designed to securely fix the shock-absorbing parts and, in particular, the drum. If the fasteners are not removed, all unnecessary elements will knock loudly during spinning.
How to remove the shipping bolts from the washing machine
Naturally, the solution to the problem is the elimination of foreign components.
All stock equipment that generate rotating movements are equipped with multiple bearings. As a result of the destruction of at least one of their number, it turns out that the washing machine makes noise during the spin cycle and during the washing process.
If the damaged bearing is not replaced in time, the volume of sounds will increase, and the rest of the parts will wear out at an accelerated rate.
To identify a bearing malfunction, disconnect the washing machine from the power supply, independently turn the drum element with your hand in one direction, then the other. When crackling and knocking are detected, it is safe to say that the source of the problem has been found.
In order to find out if there is a fault in the pulley, you need to run the machine in test mode. During the operation of the unit, you should listen to the reproductive sounds. If you hear clear clicks, you need to check the drum pulley for tension. For this, the rear part of the case is removed and the fastening nut supporting this part is tightened with the help of special tools.
Counterweights are mounted near the main tank, they serve to balance and damp the centrifugal power of the drum. In their absence, the unit will greatly shake. Surely, many have observed a situation when, during the spinning process, the machine literally jumps around the room - this is the imbalance of the counterweights. Such problems appear after some time of operation, but sometimes they can be the cause of a factory defect or improper transportation.
Loose counterweight screws must be tightened, damaged counterweight screws must be replaced
To eliminate the problem, tighten strongly all the connecting elements of the counterweights, which loosened during the operation of the device.
In this case, the incorrect position of the unit on the floor is implied. The drum device is capable of rotating in the amount of 800-1000 rotations per minute, while the centrifugal power creates a large imbalance in the entire equipment.
Elimination of distortions when installing the machine
If the machine is not set according to the level, this can lead to the following consequences:
during operation, the unit will hum strongly, and the drum will knock;
the device reproduces increased vibration;
from the first start, the car sways and moves.
In order to avoid unpleasant incidents that can form during the process of strong vibrations, you should strengthen the floor covering and set the washing machine strictly on a level.
At the time of the operation of the equipment, creaks and whistles are emitted, characteristic of the friction of the rubber material on the metal, and after washing is completed, chips from rubber remain on the hatch cover, which means the problem is in the seal. Unfortunately, when producing budget modifications, sealing rubber is the last thing that technologists pay attention to. However, this element is also not considered a marriage.
It remains only to solve the problem on your own, by laying a small piece of sandpaper between the rubber part and the front wall of the machine, and then start the washing mode without clothes. Sandpaper will be able to trim this part in 30 minutes, after which you just need to get it out, clean the drum from the remaining chips, turn on the option of additional rinsing and cleaning the filters.
If noise occurs when draining water, the source of the problem is most likely in the pumping system.
Observe the maximum permissible weight that the machine can wash without overloading.
Take short breaks between washes.
Minimum use of options with high water heating.
Clean the drain filter.
Allow the washing machine to dry after use.

Loud noise during the operation of the washing machine can occur both for technical reasons and as a result of improper operation of the machine.
Any unnatural hum, noise, tapping, unusual sound is a sign of malfunction .
But you should not immediately run to the service center and pay a lot of money for diagnostics, first try to figure it out yourself.
There can be several reasons for the noise or unnatural sounds:
bearing wear or breakage;
engine problems;
when installing the equipment, they forgot to unscrew the shipping bolts;
a foreign object has fallen between the drum and the tank;
the pulley is loose;
the counterweight is loose or crumbled.
Some of the reasons can be eliminated on your own, thereby saving a lot of money on the repair of the device.
Most often this occurs when installing the washing machine yourself. The newly made owners either forget about the transportation device or, at all, do not suspect of its existence. If you bought a new washing machine, installed it, and it immediately starts to make a lot of noise and vibrate during the spin cycle, then your problem is the shipping bolts .
The solution to this problem is very simple - you need to move the automatic machine and unscrew the shipping bolts.
The most important element in a washing machine is the bearing. Thanks to it, the drum rotates, and damage to this part threatens to jam the drum and damage most of the elements in the device. A hum and strong vibration during spinning can occur when the drum dangles from the washing machine.
In the early stages of bearing wear, the washing machine hums during spinning, but not too much ... There may be no vibrations. It is extremely difficult to determine such a breakdown just by disassembling the equipment and looking at the bearing itself.
The bearing breaks very rarely. This is most often due to metal corrosion or wear on the stuffing box. Replacing the assembly is a rather laborious task that requires knowledge and skills in working with such equipment, therefore it is recommended to contact specialized workshops. Also, disassembly and replacement differ depending on the model of the device. Typically a bearing will last about 10 years.
Usually, the problem of the pulley is detected quite simply - during spinning, well-audible clicks appear. To tension the pulley, you need to pull out the machine (after disconnecting it from the mains), then remove the back cover. Then tighten all the bolts on the pulley.
Such a breakdown is the easiest to identify. If the machine stops turning the drum, but only hums, then, most likely, the engine has failed (in rare cases it can be a bearing).
In most cases, the problem is solved by replacing the brushes. on the electric motor, but in some - the motor winding may be damaged. In the latter case, it is easier to buy new equipment, since repairs can result in a large sum.
Due to carelessness or incorrect loading, various objects (small change, buttons) can get into the space between the tub and drum and become a source of unpleasant noise. Failure to remove the item in time may result in serious damage.
It is sometimes very difficult to remove “foreign bodies” from the washing machine. Sometimes you have to completely disassemble it in order to pull out a small coin. or a carnation, so be careful.
A counterweight is used to cushion vibrations during spinning. This element is usually made of concrete. Since the latter tends to age and deteriorate, it simply begins to dangle on the mount. Symptoms of a counterweight problem are hum and strong vibration from the clipper. To check its serviceability, you will have to disassemble the machine and check the fastening manually. If the counterweight is loose, the bolts can be tightened and it will work properly again. ... In case of severe wear of the element, it is better to replace it.
Remember, it is better to listen to your washing machine once again and react to a possible problem in time than to bite your elbows later when buying a new device. In advanced cases, the device may not be repairable. We remind you that on our website we have posted for you reviews containing washing machine error codes and their decoding, for example, “Errors of the Atlant washing machine” or “Errors of the Bosch washing machine”.
If the washing machine hums during spinning, then you definitely need to understand why this is happening? It is possible that you simply purchased a too noisy model of a washing machine, or perhaps we are talking about a serious malfunction, which in the end will lead to a breakdown of the household appliance. In any case, it is worthwhile to figure it out and take measures to eliminate the noise, and within the framework of the article we will try to tell you how to do this.
The washing machine is relatively uncomplicated. Experts have empirically identified several main causes of machine noise during spinning caused by breakdowns. Let us list these reasons.
The bolts for transporting the machine have not been removed from the tank mountings.
The drum drive bearings are damaged.
Objects are stuck in the space between the tank walls and the drum.
Loose pulley, drum drive system.
Tank counterweights are loose.
The rubber seal on the sunroof is not adjusted to fit.
The washing machine is not installed correctly.
Note! Be sure to notice at what point a loud noise occurs. At the beginning of the start of a washing program, at the beginning of a spin program or during draining - this is very important for a correct diagnosis.
The reasons, features and nature of the noise of the drum of the washing machine are specific in each case. It all depends on the model of the washing machine, on the nature of the breakdown, the degree of wear of its parts, and the like. Therefore, we do not guarantee that you, according to our description, will 100% be able to diagnose the cause of the breakdown. In doubtful cases, it is better to consult a specialist.
Objects are stuck in the space between the tank walls and the drum. According to experts and consumer surveys, this is the most common reason for the loud noise emitted by the drum during spinning. When we, without hesitation, throw things into the drum of the machine, in the pockets of which small change, paper clips, pins and other small objects remain, there is a great risk of getting these objects into the tank of the washing machine. What is it fraught with?
At low speeds, the washing machine practically does not vibrate, and small objects lie quietly in the tub, without touching the rotating drum. But during the spin cycle, the machine begins to vibrate strongly and small objects begin to bounce and, in the end, get stuck between the tank wall and the moving parts of the machine. As a result, moving parts begin to whistle, creak and make other sounds.
To get to the objects that got into the tank, you need to unscrew the ten, stick your hand into the tank and pull out everything that got there, the problem will be resolved.
The bolts for transporting the machine have not been removed from the tank mountings. A gross but common mistake made by washing machine installers. The fact is that for more careful transportation of the machine, the manufacturer has provided special fasteners that fix the shock-absorbing springs of the drum. If these fasteners are not removed, the drum of the washing machine will rotate with a loud banging when the program starts. The problem is solved by unscrewing the four mounting bolts located closer to the middle of the back wall of the machine.
The drum drive bearings are damaged. The moving parts of the washing machine are equipped with several bearings. If one of the bearings breaks down, it will result in a loud noise, especially during intensive work of the "washing machine".How to identify a bearing failure? Disconnect the washing machine from the electrical network, put your hand through the hatch and turn the drum first clockwise and then counterclockwise. If the drum cracks and knocks during rotation, then the problem is in the bearing.
You can read about how to properly change bearings in a washing machine here. But it is still better to entrust this work to professionals, especially if you have never repaired household appliances with your own hands.
Loose pulley, drum drive system. To determine the problem with the pulley, you need to run the washing machine in a test mode. In this case, the drum will rotate, slowly making a dozen turns in one direction and a dozen in the other. At this moment, you need to listen to the typewriter, if you hear clicks, this is a reason to check the drum pulley. To fix it, you need to remove the back wall of the machine and, armed with a suitable tool, tighten the pulley fixing nut.
Machine counterweights are loose. Counterweights located around the washing machine tank serve to dampen the centrifugal force, which must inevitably swing it strongly. Usually, problems with counterweights occur after very long periods of use of the machine or as a result of a factory defect. To fix the problem, tighten all loose connections holding the counterweights together. To do this, you will have to remove the back wall of the washing machine, for how best to do this, read the article Dismantling the washing machine.
The washing machine is not installed correctly. In this case, we mean placing the machine on the floor, not connecting it to the water supply and sewerage system. When the drum rotates quickly (800-1000 rpm), the centrifugal force naturally tries to create an imbalance. If the machine is not level, on an unstable, sagging floor covering, this will result in:
to the beat of the drum;
strong vibration;
rocking the body of the washing machine.
The problem is solved by strengthening the floor and installing the machine strictly according to the level. You don't need to have a perfectly flat floor to level your clipper. You just need to unscrew the legs of the "washing machine" so that the body is level, for this you have to sweat a little, but it's worth it.
The rubber seal on the sunroof is not adjusted to fit. If, when the drum rotates, a characteristic creaking or whistling sound is heard, and after washing, rubber chips are noticeable on its walls and on the hatch cover, the problem is in the sealing gum of the hatch. Unfortunately, the assembly of some budget models of washing machines leaves much to be desired, and gum is probably the last thing that collectors pay attention to.
The problem can be easily solved. It is necessary to insert a piece of sandpaper between the sealing rubber of the drum and the front wall of the machine and start the washing program without laundry. Sandpaper will smooth the gum in 20-30 minutes, as needed, and you just have to pull it out and remove the rubber chips from the drum by starting the additional rinse program and cleaning the filter.
Note! If a strong abnormal sound is heard when draining water from the drum of the machine, the problem may be hidden in the drain pump.
For information on how to change it yourself, read the article Replacing the drain pump.
If the “washing machine” immediately after purchase and installation began to make a lot of noise in the spinning mode, this may be due to the factory characteristics of this model. In other words, the noise level at the most intensive stage of the “washing machine” operation is set by its manufacturer. Therefore, if there is a lot of noise with a new washing machine, study its passport. In the passport, the manufacturer often indicates the noise level, measured in dB, which the machine emits during the most intense work.
In this case, the question arises, even if the washing machine makes noise during spinning and the noise level is indicated by the manufacturer in the passport, say 75 dB, how do we know that our machine reproduces the sound of the same strength. Indeed, it is possible to accurately measure the level of noise reproduced by the machine only with the help of a special device - a sound level meter. If you have the opportunity to use it, that's good, but more often than not, an ordinary hostess does not have access to such equipment. And how to proceed in this case?
Important! Inexpensive Chinese sound level meter can be ordered online. By the way, it can later come in handy "in a showdown" with noisy neighbors who like to listen to loud music at 2 am.
The easiest way to measure the noise level of the car is the so-called associative method. On the Internet, there are many examples of common, well-known sounds with data on their strength in dB. For example, the sound of a typewriter is 50 dB (distance 1m), a train on the subway is 95 dB (distance is 7 m), the sound of a jackhammer is 120 dB (distance 1m), and so on. Roughly compare the strength of the sounds you are familiar with with the noise emitted by the washing machine and you will understand whether the numerical values indicated in the passport correspond to reality or not.
Moreover be sure to pay attention to the character of the sound. If a strong monotonous noise is interrupted by a clanging, metallic grinding or knocking, then most likely there is a malfunction in the washing machine and you need to take measures to eliminate it.
In order for the machine to serve for a long time and to avoid "noisy malfunctions" from time to time, it is necessary to follow the rules of its operation. The more carefully and prudently you treat your "home assistant", the less often you will have to face such troubles. What operating rules are we talking about?
Do not put more laundry into the drum of the machine than is required by its design.
To wear and tear of parts of the machine (especially sealing rubber), leads to its too frequent use (several times a day). The machine must have time to dry between washes.
Use less frequent wash programs that wash items in very hot water and at high speeds.
Remove dirt from the drain filter as often as possible.
Before washing items, check pockets for foreign objects, turn items inside out before putting them in the drum, and use laundry bags.
Add water softeners before washing to prevent limescale deposits on the washing machine components.
To summarize, we note that if your machine suddenly begins to rattle during spinning and restarting the washing program does not solve the problem, most likely there is a breakdown that needs to be found and eliminated. And valuable advice from experts will help us in this. Happy renovation!

No washing machine, like any other technique, can last forever. If your home assistant is more than 5 years old, the likelihood that she will break down rapidly increases. If the machine, which usually runs quietly, suddenly begins to screech and hum like a fighter on takeoff, you need to urgently take action.
There is nothing particularly complicated in the device of the washing machine. Therefore, there are not so many places where a malfunction can nest. It all depends on at which stage of the wash unusual noise and rattling occurs. The reasons why a lot of noise is heard may be as follows:
The bearing installed in the drum drive has become unusable.
The fastening bolts that hold the tank in place during transport have not been removed.
Loose drive pulley.
The counterweights holding the drum are loose or crumbled.
Small objects got between the drum and the tank wall and got stuck there.
The drain pump has broken.
The rubber seal located on the manhole cover has crumbled or does not fit.
The washing machine is not level.
VIDEO
This is a fairly complex breakdown, and you need some skills to fix it. But it is not difficult to find it. It is necessary to disconnect the "washing machine" from the network and scroll the drum by slightly pressing on it. Rotate clockwise first, then counterclockwise. If the stroke is intermittent, you hear a whistle, knocking and rattling - you can rest assured that the point is in the bearings.
There is another way to detect the problem. The fact is that a leaky oil seal leads to damage to the bearing. When it is damaged, water gets further, the bearing rusts and crumbles. You can see this by unscrewing the back panel. In the middle of the tank, with such a malfunction, rusty streaks usually appear.
If the cause is found, it must be corrected as soon as possible. The operation of a washing machine with crumbled bearings ends in damage to the sleeve and the shaft on which the drum sits. All this only aggravates the problem and increases the cost of repairs.
For more gentle transportation, special fastening bolts are provided in the body of the washing machine. They fix the shock-absorbing springs and prevent the tank from dangling from side to side. If the fasteners are not removed after installing the unit, the drum will rotate with a loud banging sound. What to do?
The problem is solved very simply. You just need to unscrew the mounting bolts. The noise will stop. They are located in the back of the machine. By the way, this is written in great detail in each installation and operation manual.
When the washing machine hums, makes noises, and clicks loudly as the drum rotates, it could be because the drive pulley is loose. It's easy to check. Turn on the machine in test mode. If this is not the case, a hand wash mode or any other mode in which the drum rotates slowly is suitable. Listen carefully to the sound while looking at the drum. If every time you turn it, you hear an extraneous noise, or rather, a click, most likely the pulley is to blame.
Correcting the situation is easy. Remove the back panel, locate the retaining nut that holds the pulley in position. Using a wrench of a suitable size, remove the backlash by tightening the nut until it stops. If the spinning noise has disappeared, then you did everything right. If not, we continue to search.
These rather heavy elements of the washing machine hold the tank in place during the spin cycle. They are designed to extinguish the centrifugal force and resist the rocking of the "washing machine". If you hear a lot of noise or rather a rumble when spinning from the drum, check the counterweights. They are made of concrete, and it tends to deteriorate from old age.
Unscrew the back panel of the washing machine and carefully inspect the counterweights, wiggle them. If the fasteners are loose, tighten them by tightening the corresponding bolts. If you find cracks on any of the counterweights, it is better to replace it completely. If this is not done, then the counterweight can split from strong vibration and damage the internals of the unit. Then you will have to repair a lot more.

If an unusual ringing, noise or grinding sound is heard during washing or during spinning, the reason may be that some foreign object has got into the tank. This often happens when the hostesses do not check their pockets too carefully. These items can include nuts, coins, paper clips, bra bones, metal buttons, and so on. What to do? How to eliminate extraneous noise?
We'll have to tinker. In order to look into the tank, you need to get to the heating element and unscrew it. Use long tweezers or just fingers (if possible) to get objects that emit an extraneous sound through the hole formed. Now you need to put the heating element in place, not forgetting to clean and degrease the rubber seal. It can be lubricated with, for example, liquid detergent.
Sometimes the problem is much easier to solve.Some models of "washing machines" have a special sump in which a filter is installed. In this case, you just need to open the sump door. It is most often located in the front. Now we just take out the filter and shake out everything that gets into it.
Sometimes, when the "washing machine" hums and makes noise during the drainage of water, the reason may be damage to the drain pump. You can try to remedy the situation by cleaning the mesh filter. It is located on the front side of the unit, behind a special cover.
You also need to make sure that the drain pipe is clean. This is another reason why the car began to make noise. Clean the pipe, it is likely that the noise will disappear.
If all else fails and the unit hums and rattles anyway, it's a bad thing. The drain pump is completely out of order and will have to be replaced. In order not to make a mistake, listen carefully to the operation of the unit. The pump can be "suspected" only when the "washing machine" makes noise only during water collection or when it is drained, and the rest of the time it works quietly. The sound will be very similar to the noise of a working transformer.
It so happens that during operation, and especially during spinning, the washing machine whistles. In this case, you find rubber shavings on the cover or walls of the hatch. Most likely, the matter is in the seal. Most often this happens with inexpensive models of "washing machines".
Of course, it is best to replace the seal and find a new one that is the right size. But you can try to solve the problem with the advice of folk craftsmen. Take a small piece of sandpaper, insert it between the front wall and the sealing rubber. Now run any wash cycle of at least half an hour. There is no need to put in linen. Sandpaper will help fit the gum to size. You just have to take it out and remove the rubber debris from the machine. To do this, run an additional rinse cycle and then clean all filters.
Sometimes the answer to the question of why the house washer rattles and rattles during washing, especially when spinning, is that it is simply not installed correctly. This is not about the electrical part, but simply about its physical location. If the unit is not installed evenly, then when rotating at high speeds, for example, during spinning, centrifugal force will unbalance it. This leads to the following consequences:
there is a powerful vibration;
the body of the car sways or "jumps", moving from the spot;
there is a strong thumping and beating of the drum.
To remedy the situation, nothing needs to be repaired. It is enough just to set the “washer” according to the level by twisting the legs. The sound should disappear.
If, after checking all the reasons described above, you still have not found the reason why the washing machine makes unusual sounds, it may be in the electric motor or the "wired" part of the unit. Here you cannot do without special skills. It is best to call the master. With the help of a multimeter, he will carefully "ring out" all suspicious places and determine the cause of the harassing sounds.
In order to invite the master to your home as rarely as possible, it is enough to follow the simple rules for operating the washing unit. This will not only extend its lifespan, but also save you a lot of hassle. What are these rules?
Do not overload the clipper. It is better to put a little less laundry in it than it should be according to the instructions.
Try to do a wash no more than once a day. This will avoid additional stress on the parts. The washing machine will have time to cool and dry well.
Clean all possible filters regularly. You can also install additional water purifiers if needed.
Clean the machine from limescale more often. Use special tools for this and follow the instructions.
Run the boil program and the spin mode at maximum speed whenever possible. If you do this often, components and parts will fail much faster.
Before putting things in the machine, do not forget to carefully examine the pockets and folds. Keep buttons and zippers closed and use a bag to wash your bras. All these precautions will save you from "fishing" small items from the bottom of the drum.
And remember: it is not worth delaying the repair of the "home washerwoman". If you dismiss the problem at the initial stage, the matter may worsen and then the repair will cost much more.
Modern washing machines are distinguished not only by the excellent quality of washing things, but also by such a pleasant "bonus" as a low noise level during operation. And this is really very important: you can start washing at any time, even at night. Unfortunately, in some cases, washing machines start to make noise. Sometimes due to breakdowns, sometimes - due to not entirely correct operation. Most often, the owners contact the "RemBytTech" service center with complaints about the following noises:
The washer makes a lot of noise during spinning, vibrates or even "jumps", thereby creating an additional rumble.
When draining water from the machine, loud noises are made by the drain pump.
The machine makes noise with any rotation of the drum: during washing, rinsing, spinning, and even if you just turn the drum by hand.
There is a loud noise when drawing water.
Does this always indicate a breakdown? Let's figure it out.
It should be understood that the washing machine, like any unit, still creates some sounds during operation. In particular, you may hear:
the sound of pouring water when it is typed;
the noise of a running drain pump (pump) when draining water;
the sound of the engine when the drum rotates;
drum noise at high speeds during spinning;
clicks if the machine switches modes, for example, switches from the washing phase to rinsing, etc .;
the noise of water heating, as in a kettle, during the washing process.
Don't worry, these sounds are not malfunctioning.
It is indicated in the characteristics of the machine and may differ slightly depending on the brand and model of equipment. In most modern washing machines the permissible noise level does not exceed 55 dB (decibels) for washing and 70 dB for spinning .
What is 50-55 dB? These are loud human speech or background music sounds. Noise level of 80 dB - noise like from a large motorway. Thus, there is no need to talk about the complete noiselessness of the machines. But if you close the door to the room where such a machine works, the sounds will really not interfere with you.
You should start looking for reasons why your washing machine is making noise if:
there were extraneous sounds that were not there before: crackling, rumbling, creaking, whistling, grinding and others;
the noise has increased compared to what it was before;
there are other signs of a malfunction of the washing machine, in addition to increased noise, for example, the machine has stopped squeezing or draining water.
Overloading, underloading, or uneven distribution of things in the MCA can lead to loud noises during the spin cycle. Be careful, read the instructions for the washing machine and follow the rules regarding the weight and size of the loaded laundry. This will not only save you from increased noise, but also extend the service life of the equipment.
Note! Insufficient loading of the washing machine or washing one large and one small item are no less dangerous than overloading. Since in these cases the washer cannot distribute the load evenly over the entire drum, it "dangles" more than necessary during the spin cycle, and creates loud noises.
The reason is the incorrect installation. The following situations must be excluded:
Shipping bolts not removed ... When you start a new washing machine, for which you forgot to remove the transport bolts, you will hear a loud noise even during washing. If you do not interrupt the cycle, during the spin cycle the machine will make a very loud noise and "jump" on the floor, and after washing the drum will be damaged.
The machine is installed on an uneven surface ... Check if the washer is level. If not, level it up.
The machine is in contact with a wall or other interior item ... There are no uniform standards on this issue: some manufacturers say that the minimum gap between the machine and the wall should be at least 5 cm, others - at least 1 cm. The RemBytTech craftsmen recommend leaving at least 2 cm.
Wobbly floor under the typewriter ... An insufficiently stable floor leads to increased machine vibrations. If it is not possible to change the location of the unit, local reinforcement of the floor is required.
Use the service of installation and connection of the washing machine from "RemBytTech", if you cannot do it yourself.
Everything is fine, but the noise from the new washer is still too loud? Check the instructions for what level the manufacturer claims. Often, buyers do not pay attention to this characteristic and, if the previous car made different sounds, they think that something is wrong with the new car.
Note! If the noise level in the new SMA does not exceed the one declared by the manufacturer, it is pointless to apply to the service center under warranty. These are the initial characteristics of your machine.
Separately, it should be said about LG washing machines with direct drive 2008-2012 years of release. Due to the design features (the absence of a motor at the bottom, which was an additional counterweight), these models vibrate quite strongly during spinning. In particular, many users complain that the cars "jump" on the floor, despite observing all the installation rules, and make a lot of noise. The only solution to this problem is to install an additional counterweight at the bottom of the drum.

If your washing machine is installed correctly, not overloaded, does not belong to the "capricious" direct-drive LG, but you still hear loud enough sounds during its operation, most likely the reason is some kind of malfunction. In the table below, the "RemBytTech" masters have collected the most common breakdowns, accompanied by unusual sounds or strong noise.
