Almag 01 is a device that is used to treat many diseases. This device costs about 8-9 thousand rubles. The principle of operation is a traveling magnetic field that accelerates the blood. It consists of a control unit and four inductors, which are connected in series and create a magnetic field.
The weak point in this device is the wires connecting the coils in series. I will tell you how to repair it. In the photo below, only one inductor is working on the device. This is evidenced by only one lit LED indicator.
The coil that works is the very first in the chain of inductors, therefore, the wires are intact to it. First, let's replace the wires that broke from the first coil to the second. For this we will analyze both. Previously, there were stickers on the inductors from the side of the LEDs, on this device they have already been removed and the bolts are visible under them, and on the reverse side of the nut.
We unscrew them, pry them off and half with a slotted screwdriver. It is better to hook it at the point of entry into the body of the rubber cuff.
There are two options. The first is to ring the green wires with the tester and re-solder the broken ones. The second is to re-solder all the green ones so as not to disassemble them again.
I took the second path. We sequentially unsolder each conductor, take it out and replace it with another piece of wire. It is better to take a stranded wire and about the same thickness as the original. A thicker wire is more difficult to push through and the covers may not close in the future. The sequence of actions is as follows:

- twist with new
- pull through the cuff
- solder on one side
- cut and solder on the other

I only had a thick wire, so I had to tinker to get it through.
After the wires are replaced to the second inductor, turn on and check. If both indicators light up, then everything is ok. Go ahead, collect the first and disassemble the third.
Here, repairs have already been carried out earlier, we only change the green wire and check. Everything worked, all four indicators light up in sequence. Putting it up in reverse order.
I did not take pictures of all the lit indicators, they light up sequentially. In the photo, the last inductor in the circuit is on. It is clear that everyone else is working before him. The first time this magnetotherapy device (fig. 1) brought about a year ago with the words "works for about a minute and turns off." It turned out that the self-healing fuse had increased internal resistance; after turning on the device, it began to heat up and after a while broke the power circuit. The same replacement fuse was not found, so an MLT-0.5 resistor with a resistance of 1 Ohm was installed in its place.
The second time the same device was brought quite recently - from constant bends, the wires broke and burned out in the places where the cable was supplied to the inductor coils and to the electronic unit (fig. 2). The repair consisted of removing the broken off conductors and re-soldering the cable.
The network can easily find a diagram of the old version of Almag-01, where meters and decoders of the 561 series are used (available in the appendix to the text). The brought device was already assembled on the 12F509 PIC controller, so during the first repair I had to copy the circuit diagram from the printed circuit board (fig. 3).
Elements FU2, VR1, C2, FU1, Tv1, R2 and R8 can be attributed to the 220 V power supply circuit - this is both protection of the device from possible overvoltage in the network and protection of the network from impulse noise that occurs in the device.
The VD2 diode passes only positive half-waves of the mains voltage, and after it there is no storage capacitor, and this suggests that the entire power section (transistors VT1 ... VT4 and their load in the form of inductor coils) works only during the appearance of these half-waves.
Their presence is also controlled by the PIC controller along the R1, R3, R7, VD5, C5 and R6 circuits. The microcircuit is powered by elements C1, VD3, VD4, C3, R4, VD6, C4, VD11 and C6.
Negative half-waves, passing through the VD1 diode and being limited by the VD12 zener diode at a level of 3 V, cause the green LED HL1 "MAINS" to glow.
The yellow HL2 LED (OPERATION mode indicator) lights up when the PIC program is started. While the program is running, a "running" pulse appears at pins 3, 5, 6 and 7 of the microcircuit, which controls the transistors VT1-VT8. The power supply of the power transistors VT1-VT4, as mentioned above, occurs with positive high-voltage pulses, and VT5-VT8 are supplied with a constant voltage of +12 V (VD4, C3).
The inductor coils themselves consist of a series-connected multi-turn coil and a 2.2 Ohm resistor (seen on fig. 2). Parallel to the resistor, there is a green LED that glows when voltage appears on the coil.
The instructions for the Almag-01 apparatus indicate that the pulse flowing in the inductor coil has a duration of 1.5-2.5 ms and follows with a frequency of 6.25 Hz (instructions are attached to the text).
To check the indicated time intervals, sensors made in the form of multilayer coils (fig. 4), and the voltage induced on them was fed into the sound card of the computer for analysis in the SpectraPLUS program.
On the fig. 5 above shows the voltage from the first coil, and below - from the second. It can be seen that the pulses are shifted by a quarter of a period. Also noticeable interference from the appearance of the third and fourth impulses. The repetition rate, as indicated in the instructions, is close to 6.25 Hz.
On the fig. 6 and fig. 7 you can see the position of the pulses in one of the coils relative to the mains voltage and the shape of these pulses in more detail. The approximate duration of that part of the pulse that can be called "positive" is close to the indicated 1.5-2.5 ms. The "negative" part is most likely the EMF that occurs in the coil when the transistor is closed.
