It is necessary to fill in engine oil of the same brand and the same composition as that which was filled in the engine.
If the engine oil is replaced with oil of a different brand, it is necessary to flush the lubrication system with a special flushing oil for 10 minutes after complete draining. Then replace the oil filter with a new one.
Drain engine oil only into a container prepared in advance.
Drain the oil after driving while the engine is still hot. If the engine is cold, start and warm it up to operating temperature.
1. Remove the engine protection (see the relevant section).
2. Unscrew the oil filler cap.
3. Clean the drain plug on the oil pan with a wire brush and then with a rag.
4. Place a specially prepared container under the engine oil pan. Then unscrew the drain plug.
5. Install and tighten the drain plug by replacing the plug sealing washer with a new one.
6. Unscrew the oil filter by hand.
Note:
If the oil filter cannot be unscrewed by hand, use a special wrench.
7. Wipe the contact surface of the cylinder block with the oil filter with a clean cloth.
8. Apply a thin layer of engine oil, which will then be poured into the engine, on the o-ring of the new oil filter.
9. Install and tighten the oil filter by hand.
10. Pour the required amount of engine oil into the engine.
... wipe it with a clean cloth and insert it back.Then remove the dipstick again and check the engine oil level in the engine. The level should be on the dipstick between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
Attention:
Avoid pouring more oil than required, as this can damage all seals and / or foaming oil, resulting in a drop in oil pressure.
12. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes (the warning lamp for an emergency oil pressure drop should go out 2-3 seconds after starting the engine). Check the engine for engine oil leaks. After a few minutes of idling, switch off the ignition and check the engine oil level again (see above). If necessary, add oil to the required level.
