The most common pneumatic malfunction on MAN tractors is the fact when, after 50,000 km of run, the compressors begin to drive engine oil into the pneumatic system. After 80-90 thousand km, it sometimes simultaneously breaks through the upper gaskets of the rear heads of the air compressors. Usually, after the breakdown of the gasket, the compressor begins to pump air into the cooling system and the pneumatic system. The incoming air enters the expansion tank. After stopping the engine, the driver can hear the pressure relief valve release excess air pressure from the cooling system. In this case, an urgent repair of the MAN pneumatic system is required.

In conclusion, we note that not all MAN repair work can be performed independently. Therefore, it is better to find a good MAN service center in your city and periodically undergo service there.
