  1. Remove the trim (from below it is nailed with brackets) - they can be easily picked out with a screwdriver and pliers.
  2. Remove under sheathing material.
  3. Broken brackets are removed by twisting - this is how a key is removed from a metal ring. The brace is most likely attached to the bottom of the seat - either braces or curved studs.
  4. Insert the new springs in the reverse order.
  5. Replace the bedsores with any rags.

There is always someone better.

It is very important that the folding mechanism is light, reliable, and the product has a long service life. This type of furniture is the eurobook sofa.

When asked if a Eurobook sofa can be made by hand, the answer is unequivocal - yes. The transformation principle of this mechanism is very simple. It is designed for daily use. The Eurobook sofa consists of two soft parts: a seat and a backrest. To unfold, you need to push the seat towards you, then move the backrest to a horizontal position, taking the vacant space.   • 2 blanks 750x80 (sofa back and seat);
  • 1 blank 2000x170x20 (tsar);
  • 2 blanks 730x150x20 (seat ends);
  • 3.5 m (total length) of 40x20 strips for the back ends.

The advantage of this model is the presence of a capacious box for linen. For this part, we take a bar, chipboard, the bottom is made of plywood.

Let's start assembling frames for the Eurobook sofa:

  1. To make the frames, select the 4 best quality bars (1960 mm) for the longitudinal sections.
  2. Reinforce 4 transverse bars (650 mm), which will be extreme in the structure, by attaching small blocks about 20 cm long to their ends (on one side) with self-tapping screws (70 mm).
  3. It is necessary to make markings for 2 self-tapping screws in the attachment points of the parts that form the frame. We install short parts with a bar for reinforcement inward. We carry out the connection so far with only one self-tapping screw for each joint, so that later we can align the angle of 90 degrees.
  4. We apply plywood, align the corner along it so that the sides completely coincide. We fasten one side with self-tapping screws. After making sure that the frame is even and the short base bars are parallel to each other, we fix the plywood to the frame with self-tapping screws. For the reliability of the connection, it is advisable to grease all the necessary places in front of the self-tapping screws with joiner's glue.
  5. We install 5 transverse bars on the back frame. The first - stepping back from the extreme one by 195 mm (we will attach loops to it), the subsequent ones with a step of 392 mm.
  6. On the other hand, we stuff fiberboard onto the future back.
  7. On a similar frame of the sofa seat, we distribute the transverse strips (5 pieces) evenly over the entire area of the part (fiberboard is not needed on the seat). This difference between the backrest and seat frames is well demonstrated by the drawings.

If you are not using solid plywood, but pieces, then leave 1-2 mm free between the pieces. The joints should be additionally reinforced by placing a transverse strip on the seam. Secure the edges of both parts to it with screws.

For those who plan to use a decorative padding of the upholstery material when upholstering a sofa, now it is necessary to make holes for the padding (diamond or square). They should be drilled by installing a drill with a diameter of up to 13 mm. Immediately mark on the details where you are up and where you are down. On the back, step back from the top and sides of 23 cm, below -25 cm. Measure 25 cm from the back of the seat, and 23 cm from the front. Apply the remaining holes according to the selected scheme. Drill plywood and chipboard in the back. If you find yourself on a timber, it is better to indent.
