In detail: do-it-yourself repair of the bottom of the boat Crimea from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.
Hello to all the water-powered brotherhood! On the occasion, I bought Crimea 3 with a Yamaha 90 engine. (I think that infa about the engine will cause a smile for many). besides, the serial number is 170. with the wrong steps. As you all understand, the body in the killed state is similar to the wave against which it is not recommended to “push the sneaker”. Napoleonic plans look something like this: replacing the bottom with 3mm AMg5, further use of the boat under the same engine. I am planning to walk around Pirogovsky, I will carry a skier, and I will also fish. Hence the questions about the repair: how and with what to fasten a set of frames with a new bottom without cutting out the old one? I'm waiting for your ratsuh!
It will be easier and possibly cheaper to take a case for this motor.
I changed the bottom in the Crimea 3. It is possible to do this, but it makes no sense at 90l / s at 8g. deadrise of this building.
Crimea he is flat. and therefore if you put 60 forces and 90hp on it. the difference will not be great. but the fuel consumption is great. try looking for a case for your pit 90.
I will buy building Crimea3. (under Merck40jet)
If you honestly fell in love with this boat, you have long wanted this, before that there was an ordinary Crimea with whirlwinds, if they were not okay. that money is immeasurable that fortune. As a result, I spat on the state, bylb hands, I'll do it. The amount of work, of course, but it will delight the soul. A question to the respected waterman: how the sheets were shaped, I saw in the photo. Who will advise what about attaching frames to a new bottom, without removing the old one! Provar? There is no contact welding, only argon. Is 3mm thick enough?
Video (click to play).
Here is my Krymchik!
>> A question to the dear waterman: how the sheets were shaped, I saw > in the photo. Who will advise what about attaching frames to > a new bottom without removing the old one! Provar? No contact welding, > argon only.
I cut squares on the old bottom between the frames and stringers and welded along the edges to the new skin. Plus, it was drilled with a 10 or 12mm drill. and cooked with a semiautomatic device through these holes.
Is 3mm thick enough?
I did 2mm, but I reinforced it with a bend. Without beading, of course, 3mm is better.

Admire the people at the wounds of my ship. I can't say for how long, but this is a consequence of the economical consumption of luminescence and a powerful motor.
Crimea-3 and Pit F-100 Link. The boat is alive. All are intact, but the power is excessive. It rarely goes on the meadow when the water is a mirror. It overtakes all the available import boats so that the boys do not ask themselves

Looked, thanks a lot for the link! Impressive. I want to make something like this out of mine. Pooh, I would be very grateful to see a photo in the process of repairing this vessel. What is the thickness of the bottom? How does the replaced AMG behave during operation? How did you achieve the evenness of the sides? I have cut out lockers. I plan to strengthen with a hollow square (rectangle) of AMG. While collecting information. I will document everything with subsequent calculation. I ask you to respond to anyone interested in Crimea 3! Thank you all for earlier!
So how is the bottom on the Crimea reinforced under the Ya-100. Pooh, take a couple of pictures if possible, I wonder!
All redans were removed from the bottom and a 4-5mm aluminum sheet was superimposed. The sheet is sawn lengthwise from the inside in the middle so that there is an even bend with an angle along the keel and not with a belly. Everything is attached from the inside with bolts into the body of the sheet. The thread is cut directly into the sheet m-4 or m-5. again from the al. corner in which one shelf is cut in height so that the redan stands correctly. On the transom from the outside there is also a sheet of Alum. the entire width and height of H-5mm seems to be through 1mm rubber as it did not look inside the transom. The board is glued from the outside with fiberglass, putty with epoxy, etc. Chel did 3 Crimea .2 on bolts. alum.when welding led and there is not such an even bottom. The boat is covered with snow on the boat, if I can get to it, then that I can take a picture tomorrow, but the pictures of the current in a personal. how to squeeze them here, I can’t figure it out with a computer ”I’m not friends” but there is no child: - ((
Thanks for the info! My mail: Thank you for earlier. Vadim.
Throw me off too, pliz
Sent to KRYMOVOD and VOLZHAK - I can't come here. It's hard for me. Drop the mail
eh baby.
Hello Lambo and my condolences for the untimely death of your brainchild. It’s a pity, a pity. How long has you been in operation with the H-50? I saw almost all the photos of your ship + video + restoration work, the hull was really in openwork, it is simply a rarity to find such a thing!
The work is progressing, slowly, it is possible to carve out time only on weekends, it is a pity for only two hands.
I drill out spot welding, I go first with a 3mm drill, then 12mm. It turns out like this. To date, I have removed all the redans.
There are several questions along the way. There is a hit board, the former owner did not bother with repairs, stupidly welded in places where it burst and that's it. Tell me who leveled the results and how. There is no experience of such work, therefore, I look forward to your recommendations!
Here is closer. Thoughts are as follows: first, loosen the amplifiers from the inside (also welded), then heat the area with a hairdryer and knock it out, pulling it up from the back. Advise people!
The case is nearing the purchase of material to the bottom. Here, too, there are still some questions. I ask the Waterman and who changed the bottom to respond! According to my measurements, the sheet 3x1500x4000 is not enough for the bottom (I mean to cut it in half). Merchant, sell the secret of forming sheets, how did you do that? What redans did you cook 30x30, more? Bent or finished corner? I like the version that Pooh sent, but for the sake of a strip of 40 cm to buy a sheet. do not even know. I am waiting for your advice dear forum users! Thanks in advance!
It was on the 1st Crimea for himself that he made a strip between redans, something like a ski. the other two have a completely closed bottom.
I understand, the option with the ski is just like it, where the thickness is 4 and the ski is 5k, is that all right?
Yes, the devil knows how he's got there. I'll take a picture from the bottom, but he doesn't worry about the bottom at all. On the ski, the total thickness is about 8 mm.
Re: How to straighten the bottom in the Crimea?
A wooden hammer and a block is the whole science. Today I straightened it. Only without fanaticism, you can break the metal.
Re: How to straighten the bottom in the Crimea?
I, too, had a bubble closer to the stern and cracked right along the bulkhead !! it’s not scary, it’s just that it just recently fell into the hands of the room!
Re: How to straighten the bottom in the Crimea?
How to correctly straighten the bottom near the Crimea?
Explain on your fingers how it is competently make? Do I need to heat the metal or "cold"? To hammer on the weight or so that the bottom of the raft lies on the floor? Small dents and bumps all over the bottom. And the most important thing - bottom at a distance of 10 cm from the transom... There the bottom is crushed and the transom is like a scraping on the water. I'm afraid to ruin the boat.
Take new members to your ranks. A childhood dream came true and last week my friend and I became the happy owners of Crimea. Now we want to have time to bring it to an acceptable state before starting navigation, the budget, as always, is limited.
The corps itself, although "alive", requires our participation. The previous owner did not care much about the boat and "somewhat" bent the keel with the bottom inward (apparently hit something), there are also a number of "battle marks" on the rest of the hull.
We do not yet have experience and understanding of straightening work in Crimea, we will be grateful for any constructive suggestions, and we will not refuse the services of a specialist. Remained native seats and a sofa, we plan to restore and operate them further, in this part and in general, we also ask you to share your experience.
I propose to discuss the boat Crimea, Crimea, its pros and cons, fine-tuning (tyuneng) it for yourself. I see the following questions: Convenient bedding equipment. Competent awning (on family or new arches) Front seats (native, with shock absorbers, car, etc. Stationary tank. Payoli, miners, etc.
Here is a selection of photos to begin with [ [Links to union members only. ] There is something about the tank that would not be repeated here https://my.housecope.com/wp-content/uploads/ext/514/vb3/showthread.php?t=16864 By seats here https://my.housecope.com/wp-content/uploads/ext/514/vb3/showthread.php?t=17281
I completely agree for AMG either 3mm or "brutal" power set. duralumin 1.5mm in this regard would look more worthy. The beauty of the Crimea is not in its fortress, or rather even its rigidity, but in the absence of the need for care and the possibility of an indifferent attitude. Here recently Zhenya Slavutich very aptly said “The Crimea has a bottom like an accordion, all skewed under the onslaught of an overstated engine power, but all the same, the infection walks and does not flow. So the conclusion of the people is simple - a strong boat ”, approximately somewhere like that.
And the roller there was metal and rolled with a sharp edge.

Good afternoon everyone. Once upon a time, a long time ago, they gave me a hatch cover from a boat of 5m2 (if I am not mistaken) and a counterpart (I call her that) from a progess boat for 0.5. For today, I decided to make a hatch to the Crimea. The counterpart from the progress is larger than the hatch, besides this, I was already given it cut into four parts for shortening. It is visually visible that the dimensions of the “response” are different, two sides (opposite each other) 10mm each and two sides (opposite each other) 20mm each. Besides, I don’t know what they did with them, but there are no strict angles in the response. I tried to level, straighten, - all the same there is no corner, and all the four parts (sawn) have otvetki. It turned out that although not very much 5-8mm does not coincide at the corners of the radius of the lid and the "response". And in general I do not like her, as the soul does not lie to the “answer”.
Now the question is: Help with advice, from what to make an answer. Maybe someone made it for himself, maybe he saw it from a neighbor, maybe there are some links to making, a photo, something else. For myself, I see a 20mm-30mm corner, sawn at the corners and bent under the radius of the cover. Boil the cutting points with argon, and put a car seal on the top of the corner which will be under the lid. In theory, it should be airtight. I called on "tuning" "with theirs" answer "which is also from progress, behind their words, which, with their very, very diligent work, should come up. Well, it will be somewhere worth 400 UAH.
and then it will be seen.... How much more it will cost "visible" is anyone's guess.
Thanks for answers. Any information will be grateful. Vitaly.

Ron_OlIt makes no sense to cook like this with TIG, there is still a lot of blackness creeping, something like this can only be added with a pump, the best and most reliable option is to rivet
They were already cooking gas with flux there.

I have a motorboat "Crimea" with a "Neptune-23" engine. I am happy with the boat, however, with sharp turns, which have to be done in narrow places of the water area with a skier in tow, the motorboat is blown away. How to achieve a stable (no slip) cornering? Maybe install longitudinal steps? It seems to me that many fans of fast driving will be interested in learning about this.
We do not recommend installing longitudinal steps. Firstly, it is very difficult to achieve a tight fit of the planes of the redans to the bottom skin, which in the process of operation has received inevitable deformations; secondly, it will be difficult to maintain the tightness of the case due to the numerous drills. In addition, longitudinal steps installed on an almost flat bottom (dead-end on the transom is only 4 °) will not only not increase the speed, but, on the contrary, will decrease it.
In our opinion, it is better to use the method used by the racers: install a small keel or even two sprat on the bow half of the wetted bottom length. (Athletes usually move it to the port side. When the vessel turns to the left around the turning buoys, a significant additional moment of forces arises, which helps the hull to enter the turn with practically no drift. The sprat shift to the left makes it easier to enter the left turn and does not create additional vortex obstacles in front of the propeller.)
The installation of sprat on the "Crimea" is best done in the DP. Its maximum length should not exceed 250-300 mm, and its height should not exceed 120-150 mm. It is better to determine its shape and place of installation empirically. In the place where the sprat is installed, the bottom should be reinforced, since during sharp turns, significant forces will act on it.
Uri So look at everything about crinalins, sponsons are the wings of a cauldron. Crinalines
Katran We had a 4-stroke suza motor on a snail. Motor weight 120 kg. Hanged up. Three + butor + benz 100 litas On Agula, at the start, they could not get on the glide for an hour. We passed the shmurdyak to the next boat (blew beer to reduce weight
) Reinforced and raised transom. Bully boiled, (crinalinov, sponsons) I don't know what the words are, but probably it was all. The set is very heavy. Maximum 2 people but it's hard to drive together. Somewhere there were pictures I can not find. I will find add. As a result, they left the motor for themselves now on Solara, and the boat was sold.
Good day Katran! Thanks for the answer. And how much Susa was on my head. Why bother saw on YouTube a video of the Crimea under the yardstick 6040 and Solar, in my opinion, Vladimir from Mezhdurechensk went the same way. But any pictures on this question would be desirable.
avs Evgen4000, There is such a topic on the forum - about the Crimea, look there a friend lengthened the Crimea to another friend of mine! At 30ke, a water cannon, I began to take out three and began to carry more gasoline! In general, the carrying capacity has increased, and the speed of one kilometer has dropped by three! I began to go out onto the glider without sinking the stern! Just go and go to accelerate!
-B- did so, but it is half measures.
under a water jet you need a normal jet boat.
and finishing the murdered Crimea, strengthening the transom and the set, hemming the bottom, crinolines, and so on - in the end it will turn out to be not much cheaper than a new special boat, sharpened under a suspended water cannon, with a tunnel.
Even to cook with your own hands, rivet, drill, etc. Everything is ready.

Yes, I'm in complete thought. And that as an option for such a water cannon like my Merck 6040 4 shopping mall. Thanks for participating.
AVS good day! Is there an opportunity to build bridges with these people? Best regards, Evgeniy
serb Copied the message of the comrade avs from here. The topic turns out to be interesting.

Lord hello! And if in detail about this device, what is in the photo, what was given by the boules, there may be a response from the owner of the boat.
Serb hello1 THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE BRIDGES. I talked with Anatoly, who is engaged in reworking the Crimea, only that while they were hanging the motor there Merck 30 on the head is 25 on the jet, but even then they say that the boat carried more cargo and accelerates easier. They overdo it, but that's what the customers order. The length of the tunnel is from a meter to 450mm, depth is up to 80mm. There was information that a very large tunnel sucks the boat at speed to the bottom, this is in theory but in reality. They are just going this year, Crimea is now working to hang Merka F6040 Jet. to the elongated Crimea.
avs Evgen4000, Weighed on the Crimea Yamaha 30 water cannon! I myself did not ride it, my friend drove! But he said that it turned out to be a completely different boat! The tunnel was 1100mm long and 60mm high! I was present Eugene at your yesterday's telephone conversation with Anatoly! Two Crimea turned out to be the same, and the third one by the size of the customer!
avs Evgen4000, I would have also hemmed the Crimea along the edges of the tunnel with two knot-free, spruce boards, and I would have got skis on gravel!
But everyone felt sorry for the hole in their boat! Although the holes are then elementary to weld in the Crimea!
Evgen4000 avs, + AMS why exactly spruce and how thick.
avs Evgen4000Well, in principle, you can also use other types of wood, only to be flexible, to form the bottom! Two centimeters thick! My comrade climbed the river for the summer, and then the bottom had to be adjusted! And you can simply change the boards later, and they have their own rigidity!
Thanks! The idea is interesting and not expensive. I will think. And when Anatoly will give Crimea under the Merck 6040 for testing. And if I weighed 30 on the head, it means 25 on the jet and the boat is going, so what? Sincerely!
avs Evgen4000, Today I called a friend and checked the speed on a 30k water cannon! The short Crimea did not take out so much cargo! Two people, 90 and 130 kilograms each, 90 benz, and the muddle with a full jacket rode 30 on the already long Crimea!
The boat will be taken far below the size of 60, and I think the information will not be available soon!
Evgen4000 Hello to all Tuguns from Dalniy! Here are the first results on Crimea I am bringing to your Court
Evgen4000 Something all the pictures do not fit right away, I'm still molding
Uri hello! Look at the results, the truth is not yet finished in the Crimea in the photo. Probably, you need to write another topic.
avs Evgen4000, This is a cargo truck!
Katran Evgen4000, Good time. The work has been done very great and everything is not bad. But the beginning of the tunnel is very high, judging by the photo, cm 8-10. This can interfere with the preparation of the water mixture for the turbine. Namely, the formation of bubbles. Which will lead to gripping and twisting of the motor into frantic revolutions. in the photo above (photo upside down) although it is difficult to see the tunnel begins with a small drop. This is my personal opinion. But I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is still open and something can be changed. Hopefully someone else will add their comments. We are waiting for a successful completion of the tests.
Enter the length, width, height of the tunnel. And how much the boat's size has increased.

Plywood marked and sawn off The next stage is impregnation and painting of plywood, reinforcement with an aluminum corner of the set, and the layout of the dashboard. Hmm. The Americans have imposed a sanction on the correct orientation of photographs taken from Apple gadgets.

Do I need to somehow reinforce the winch attachment point?
Necessarily needed. The AMG alloy is soft - over time it will lead without reinforcement.

The long-awaited package has arrived from Moscow. While the days of waiting lasted, the cartridges were being prepared.
I went to receive a call from Energy. The load was shocked. According to the consignment note, the weight of the cargo is 2.2 kg, two pieces. Upon receipt, it turns out that the cargo was additionally packed. Package weight 15 kg. Each place is packed in a wooden coffin. The first package contained a hook. In the second little thing Today the steering wheel, the captain's chair have been installed, the handles have been unscrewed (I will sandblast), the deep dent in the bow has been straightened, the door to the bow niche has been dismantled. Welding awaits the boat in the near future. Reinforcement of the transom and bow under the winch. As it turned out, the 13-foot cable turned out to be a little short for my tasks (a 14-foot cable would be too long), optimally 13.5. Without requests, 13 feet itself. Photo of how the cable got up next time.
As a result of the painstaking work of the Lodka 44 specialists, the owners of the Krym motor boat now have the opportunity to purchase and install glass edged from a new profile. A distinctive feature of the design is the presence of a rubber seal, as well as a unique design that excludes any contact of the glazing elements with the profile and fasteners. The main reason for the damage to the glazing of the original frame on the "Crimea" boat was the elements of attachment to the profile, in contact with organic glass and eventually led to cracks. This glazing option is available for ordering in the corresponding sections of the catalog of our website.
The repair of this boat was carried out in two stages. In the summer, the customer, with the help of our company's specialists, installed glass, a tank, electrics, reinforced the transom, and equipped the boat with a transport awning. In January 2014, the work was continued, after which the boat acquired a completely different look. The hull was painted, the passenger compartment seats were upholstered (covers for the factory seats of the “Crimea” boat can always be ordered in the corresponding section of our website).

The factory design of the arches has a number of disadvantages. Too low design allows you to use the awning only when sleeping or parking. As well as the large gap between the arcs and the small radius of the arcs lead to the accumulation of water.
The arches manufactured by the Lodka44 company are designed taking into account the shortcomings of the factory design and the wishes of customers. A higher structure is provided, allowing you to comfortably sit in the boat during movement and parking.
The awning is attached to the windshields of the boat, so the shape and size of the awning directly depend on the windshield. When replacing glasses, replacement of the awning is also required.
Plan ahead. If you feel that your windshields will need to be replaced in the near future, we recommend that you do it now with the purchase of an awning.
Complete with every awning produced by "Boat44" there is a detailed instruction for installing the awning, arches and glasses. Over the years, we have analyzed all the typical mistakes and difficulties faced by our clients, so we described in detail in the instructions each step of installing the awning with photographs.

Old factory glasses were made in serial production of the USSR. They were made with high quality, but over time everything tends to deteriorate and age, so many factory windshields are damaged or not preserved at all.
Our design department is constantly modernizing and improving glass and glazing frames for all serial domestic boats. Glass produced by "Lodka44" is divided into "Standard" and "Premium".
Glazing "Standard" is as close as possible in terms of technological features to the factory glass, in height it fully corresponds to the factory analogue. The side of the glass is extended. The set includes a glazing frame, polished stainless steel hinges, thrust posts. The glazing is made of 3 mm monolithic polycarbonate.
Windscreens "Premium" are the own development of the design department of the company "Lodka44". For several years, we have identified gaps and conducted surveys of our clients. We managed to combine modern technological developments, strong durable materials and the experience of automotive designers. The result of painstaking work is the "Premium" glass.
The main difference between "Premium" glasses from the "Standard" set is a new high-strength aluminum profile of the glass edging and new organic ("Premium-A") and tempered ("Premium-K") glasses with a thickness of 5 and 4 mm, respectively. Unlike "Standard" sets, in which glasses are made of polycarbonate, "Premium" sets are more durable, more resistant to mechanical stress, as well as more transparent and look more aesthetically pleasing.
Glass sizes... For each model of the serial boat, we have selected the optimal glass sizes for their comfortable and durable use. They are different from the factory ones. They are larger and more comfortable to use the boat.
Glass edging made of high quality aluminum profile. You don't have to worry about scratches and minor damage. It is much stronger and more durable than the factory one, highly resistant to mechanical stress.
Installation... Thanks to the technological design of the glass edging, you do not have to spend several hours installing it. We have prepared it so that your efforts are minimal. And of course, for each set of glasses in the kit, detailed instructions for installing windshields are attached.
Appearance... Everyone who has seen the new Premium glasses has no doubt chosen them. They are both externally and in terms of technical characteristics similar to automobiles. They are also easy to paint, so you can give your boat a stunning look.
A wicket door on the boat's glazing is necessary for a quick exit to the stern. Often on the water there are situations when you need to quickly fix something or pick it up from the bow of the boat. Moving sideways through the windshield is not always safe, since the boat has a roll structure.
Important: when ordering glasses with a wicket, provide in the awning the option "valve in the roof" for easy exit from the boat through the wicket.
Complete with Lodka44 windshields, we attach detailed instructions for installing new glasses. Over the years, we have analyzed all the typical mistakes and difficulties faced by our clients, so we described in detail in the instructions each step of glass installation with photographs.
