Unlike the previous generation car, manual transmissions are not available for the 2001 Caravan / Voyager. The automatic transmissions installed on it are quite reliable (if you change the oil every 50 thousand km and apply the recommended lubricant: as a rule, ATF III or IV, the brand is usually indicated on the dipstick). True, in the early copies (2000-2002) the differential was falling apart (when the gas is released or supplied, the car starts chirping, which is a sign of an impending breakdown of the machine). The all-wheel drive system has shown itself to be not very reliable, since there are few cars on the market equipped with it.
