These filters are not the same in terms of particle retention efficiency. Filter elements of class S provide 99.97% efficiency (i.e. they retain particles of more than 0.3 microns according to DIN 24184). But HEPA provide 99.95 percent efficiency (i.e., they trap particles more than 0.6 microns according to the EN 1822 standard). In the presence of the HEPA H13 filter, the efficiency level will not be less than 99.95 percent. The rest of the HEPA H10-12 are less effective.
The service life of filters, provided that it will be washed with water, ranges from twelve months to several years.
Some MT makers have gone even further. In order to capture small dust particles, they equip their models with a special separator. The principle of operation is as follows. The smallest dust and allergenic particles, passing through the water, fall into air bubbles. These dirt-filled bubbles rise to the top, resulting in one and a half to two percent of raw air. Then the separator creates a kind of fog from the water droplets at a high rotation speed. The resulting water cloud perfectly captures all unfiltered dirt. Thus, thanks to the separator, the purification of the outgoing air is provided by 99.97 percent.
Recommendation. Be sure to inquire about the number of filtration stages available with your washing vacuum cleaner. After all, your favorable state of health and health will directly depend on this.
Thanks to the use of aquafilters, the design does not need replaceable dust bags, it is capable of humidifying the air, deodorizing it (for this, a special aromatizing liquid must be poured into the unit first). But there is one drawback - after each cleaning, the aquafilter must be rinsed and dried.

The vast majority of the pipes of these household units are made of plastic or steel. Although plastic is lighter and cheaper, the steel version is more reliable.
