The routine process of removing the Kalina headlight involves dismantling the front bumper. After that, the upper and lower headlight mounting screws become available, by unscrewing which you can easily remove the headlamp unit (do not forget to unhook the pads with wires).

Remove the PTF plug by prying it off with a screwdriver.

Unscrew the headlight upper mounting bolt (closer to the radiator) using the “8” wrench.
Use a large Phillips screwdriver to remove the headlamp upper mounting screw (on the fender).
Turn the headlamp so that the part closest to the radiator moves closer to the engine. This will allow the lower headlight mount to be removed from the seat.
Remove the lower, iron mount of the headlight by unscrewing 2 bolts with a short head on the knob 7-10 cm.

Then we heat the sealant with a hairdryer, but without fanaticism (it is not necessary to blow on one place for a long time). We extend the knife blade more and cut off the softened sealant. Then carefully remove the glass with a screwdriver, step by step.

Removing the glass of these headlights without breaking is not an easy task, it takes time (sometimes up to 6 hours) and patience. The difficulty in disassembling is that the sealant is more “difficult” in this case. Often, heating it with a hairdryer, the plastic of the headlight housing begins to melt faster, so many resort to other methods of disassembly. For example, heat the entire headlamp unit in a cardboard box using a technical hair dryer to a certain temperature. After that, the sealant will easily give in under a little force of the screwdriver.
If you don't have a hair dryer on hand, then a regular oven may come in handy. We turn it on at 150-160C and wait 5 minutes. Then we put the headlight in the oven on a wooden board and bake it for about 15 minutes. Then, wearing gloves, we take out the headlight with a slightly softened sealant, and using slotted screwdrivers of different sizes, we pry the glass around the entire perimeter of the headlight. The black plastic that runs along the perimeter will change its original shape, you should not be afraid of this, since then it will level out. After about 10 minutes, the sealant will begin to harden, so we work at an accelerated rate. Did not make it ? Not then we again carry the headlight into the oven (this procedure can last up to 10 times).
We remove the mask (substrate) of the headlight by unscrewing all the adjusting bolts (asterisk) from the outside. After disassembling, you can start tuning Kalina headlights.
