First, there was no turnkey sprocket on the end of the rotor axis from the side of the pulley. That is, not that the number of teeth does not coincide with the puller or something else, but is not provided at all. And there is a turnkey place in the pulley and it coincides with the puller. I had to remove the generator. I went to the service, where the generator was removed and the pulley was turned off with a wrench.
And second, the INA 535 024110 pulley, which I ordered in Exist and which was listed as intended for diesel Karens, actually turned out to be almost the same as the original one. The inner seating part of the pulley had a protrusion of about 5 mm on the side facing the generator. The belt would be skewed when installed. Honestly, I cannot say for sure, but still, if the bearing and relay could still be changed, then what was to be done with the crack?
Was it possible to cook it? If so, how to cook? In general, it is easier and more reliable to buy a new generator, which is exactly what I, in principle, did. I installed a new generator, put in a new belt, started the car - everything works fine. To make the generator feel full load, I turned on all lights, air conditioning, all drives - the belt does not whistle, the voltage is normal. So everything is in order, I no longer have a reason to dig into the generator, you can close the hood. Now we need to resolve the issue with the starter, because sometimes the car will not start, the starter simply does not turn. Most likely, the retractor relay needs to be replaced, so that here I can also make repairs with my own hands.

We remove one of the pipes going to the fuel filter. Attention! The filter is full of gasoline. Prepare a container for draining.
We drain the rest of the gasoline from the filter into a previously prepared container.
Next, you need to disconnect the second pipe. It's more difficult with him. It is fixed with a very fragile plastic latch with 3 fasteners.

All this fumes clog up a lot and shorten the life of the Kia Karenz catalyst, which does not cope with the cleaning of such impurities.
6. Diagnostics of the Kia Karenz engine by sound. Sound is a gap, this is what the theory of mechanics says. There are gaps in almost all moving joints. This small gap contains an oil film that prevents parts from touching.But over time, the gap expands, the oily film can no longer be evenly distributed, friction of the parts of the Kia Carens engine occurs, as a result of which very intense wear begins.
Each node in the Kia Carens engine has a specific sound:
A loud, frequent sound heard at all engine speeds indicates the need to adjust the valves;
An even knock, which does not depend on the speed, is caused by the valve-distributor mechanism, which indicates the wear of its elements;
A distinct short knock, increasing at higher revs, warns of the imminent end of the connecting rod bearing.
This is only a small part of the possible sounds as a result of certain malfunctions. Every Kia driver must remember the sound of a normally working engine in order to react quickly to any changes in it.
7. Diagnostics of the engine cooling system Kia Karenz. With proper operation of the cooling system and sufficient heat dissipation, after starting the engine, the liquid circulates only in a small circle through the heater radiator, which contributes to the rapid warming up of both the engine itself and the Kia Carens interior in the cold season.
When the normal operating temperature of the Kia Carens engine is reached (about 60-80 degrees), the valve opens slightly, i.e. the liquid partially flows into the radiator, where it gives off heat through it. In case of reaching the critical level under 100 degrees, the Kia Karenz thermostat opens to the full, and the entire volume of liquid passes through the radiator.
Together with this, the Kia Karenz radiator fan turns on, it contributes to better blowing out of hot air between the radiator cells. Overheating can damage the engine and require costly repairs.
8. Typical malfunctions of the Kia Carens cooling system. If the fan does not work when the critical temperature mark is reached, then first of all it is necessary to check the fuse, then the Kia Karenz fan itself and the integrity of the wires to it are examined. But the problem may turn out to be more global, perhaps the temperature sensor (thermostat) is out of order.
The performance of the Kia Karenz thermostat is checked as follows: the engine is preheated, a hand is applied to the bottom of the thermostat, if it is hot, then it is in good order.

More serious problems may arise: the pump fails, the Kia Karenz radiator leaks or clogs up, the valve in the filler cap breaks. If problems arose after replacing the coolant, then most likely an air lock is to blame.
