As usual, the aforementioned car drove into our service, with a complaint from the owner that due to the established cold weather (in Novosibirsk today and in the next three days, the temperature is not promised to be warmer -28, or even up to -36 will run) the car began to twitch , and once even stalled at a traffic light.
Before intruding completely “into the jungle of the intake”, a question was asked about the candles, have they ever been changed? The owner replied that no, he didn’t change it, but the previous owner did it 3000-5000 km before the sale (car mileage after purchase - 15 000 km), and when buying a car, a large regional center specializing in Honda (we will not give any advertising, no anti-advertising) confirmed the "ideal state" of the candles and the front and rear rows.
As a result, the car arrived already with new candles in the glove compartment, as well as with a keen desire to additionally change the oil. The master cheerfully got down to business, and after a few minutes his enthusiastic, obscene shout gathered around him all who were not busy with the business, including the car owner. What is the reason for all this waste? Unfortunately, the owner of the car and Fit himself became a victim of either a lazy or incompetent master who serviced the car upon purchase, as well as their own desire to save money. It is very simple to diagnose the condition of the candles, it is enough to unscrew at least one candle and look at it. Logically, the rest of the candles should be in about the same condition. Of course, this leaves a chance that you will be "lucky" and you will get the only worker, while the rest of the candles will be "dying".
How can you avoid this? To be honest, the easiest way is not to save.If you do not know the history of your car, or its former owner is not a good friend or relative of yours, do not save and change candles without checking. This is especially true of ordinary, non-platinum and non-iridium candles, which even in the “original” version cost no more than 250 rubles apiece. Spending up to 1,000 rubles (in the case of Fit, up to 2,000), once every 20,000 km, is not the greatest financial burden for any car owner, which will save you from big waste in the future.

Troubleshoot this DTC. ■
Replace defective spark plug. ■
Remove the PGM-FI Main Relay 2.
Start the engine and let it run until it stalls.
Connect spark plugs to ignition coils.
Connect the ignition coil connector and ground the spark plug.
With the mode selector in the N or P (continuously variable transmission) position, turn the ignition key to the start position (III) and check for spark.
Is there a spark from the spark plug?
The ignition coil is OK. ■
Replace the ignition coil with a known good ignition coil and recheck the spark test.
Is there a spark from the spark plug?
Reinstall the original ignition coil. ■
If the front spark plug does not spark, check for a blown No. 7 (15A) fuse in the under-dash fuse / relay box. If the electrical fuse is OK, repair open in the wire between the under-dash fuse / relay box and the front ignition coil. If the rear spark plug does not spark, check for a blown No. 9 (15A) fuse in the under-dash fuse / relay box. If the electrical fuse is OK, repair open in the wire between the under-dash fuse / relay box and the rear ignition coil. ■

Hello everyone! About three weeks ago, twitching also appeared, after reading the forum, the head was swollen. First I decided to change the candles - the effect is zero! After that I decided to remove all 8 coils for revision. I cleaned all the contact connections, only I did not grease it with grease (at work there is SUPERCONT grease, which is used specifically for lubricating contact connections). I did not find any visible violations of the insulation of the coils, therefore, after cleaning and assembling the coils, before installing them in place, I treated each coil with a STEP UP dehumidifier. After installing all the coils and connecting all the connectors from above, I processed it with the same tool. As a result, I've been driving for a couple of weeks without twitching. In my case, most likely the cause of the twitching was dirt - dust and moisture on the VV coils, plus oxidized contacts. Thank you. I agree with the comment that we also need insulation (I used a polyamide film with Ali). One addition: on the Jazz 1.3, these reels are in the front and fly out in the rear. So if 1.3, then you need to do this procedure with the back + insulation + change the candles (at least the back row).
