Today we have a Microsoft Lumia 535, a budget phone with Microsoft operating system, for disassembly. With this guide, you can replace a broken display or any other component that has failed during use. Disassembling the Microsoft Lumia 535 is not very difficult and for this you need the following tools: a Torx T4 screwdriver, tweezers, a mediatrist, a hair dryer to remove the broken display glass and sticky double-sided tape to glue the new glass in place of the old one.

First, remove the back cover from the phone, remove the battery and SIM card.

Unscrew nine screws with a Torx T4 screwdriver.

We take the pick and detach the back of the case, which is held in place by clips.

Disconnect the four connectors of the loops with a mediator or tweezers:

red: connector for touchscreen loop;

blue: LCD display ribbon cable connector;

yellow: charging loop connector;

green: coaxial antenna cable.

Unscrew the two screws with the same Torx T4 screwdriver that screwed on the motherboard of the Microsoft Lumia 535 phone.

We remove the motherboard from the phone case.

We remove the rubber cap from the display cable connector, glue the tape on the glass so as not to cut yourself by fragments, use a hair dryer or a heat gun and heat the glass to loosen the glue under it.

We take a sharp construction knife or a guitar pick and peel off the glass around the entire perimeter, if necessary, warm it up with a hairdryer.

Remove the display with a plastic pick and then clean the frame from the old glue.

We put back the display, glue 4 mm onto the new digitizer. a strip of double-sided adhesive tape or two 2mm strips. It is also possible to order glass already with glued tape.

Reinstall the touch screen and use the phone.

Disassembling Microsoft Lumia 535 is a time-consuming job that requires accuracy and attention, so do not start disassembling if you are not confident in your abilities!

The screen version is printed on the ribbon cable. Be careful when buying.

Take out the battery, sim card and memory card.

Use a Torx T4 screwdriver to remove the 9 screws marked in the photo.

Using a case opener, pry the rear case from the frame.

We carry out along the perimeter, opening the latches.

Touch screen cable;
Display cable;
Charging loop;
Antenna cable.

You can use a disassembly tool to disconnect the connectors.

Remove the two Torx T4 screws marked with circles in the photo.

Remove the main board from the case.

Remove the elastic from the display cable.

Stick a few strips of tape on the screen so you don't have problems with small pieces.

Heat the screen well with a hair dryer.

Use a paper cutter or something with a sharp edge to separate the bottom of the touchscreen from the display. If both the sensor and the display are damaged, then you can simply remove the entire display and not peel off the sensor.

Then use a plastic case disassembly tool to separate the entire touchscreen.

Proceed with caution and do not use too much force. Warm up the touchscreen further if necessary.

Use a plastic tool to carefully remove the display.

Clean the case from the remaining adhesive tape and glue.

Place the display back into the case.

If there is no adhesive tape on the new touch glass, then glue 2mm around the perimeter.

Glue the new touchscreen to the display and start assembling in reverse order.

Separate the bottom of the display from the touchscreen using some kind of sharp tool. A utility knife is ideal. If the entire display module of the phone is damaged, there is no need to peel off the sensor.

Use a pick to separate the screen. It is important to work carefully here, not to use excessive force. If the element does not lend itself, it is better to reheat the screen with a hair dryer to soften the glue.

Use a plastic tool to carefully remove the display.

Remove any remaining glue and adhesive tape.

Place the display back into the case.

If the new Microsoft Lumia 535 screen came to you without adhesive tape, apply it yourself. 2 mm around the entire perimeter will be sufficient.

Glue the new sensor to the display.
