When the case is completely removed, you will see in front of you the metal frame of the matrix, on which all the electronics and the cables connected to it are fixed.
The latter must be very carefully disconnected in order to prevent breakage. Replacing an LCD matrix in a TV is a fragile process. Then all the screws that hold the motherboard, power supply, and other components are unscrewed.
Owl! In order not to get confused in the subsequent assembly, you can pre-photograph the placement of all the elements of the TV.
After all the components of the model are disconnected from the matrix, you need to unpack the new screen and fix all the boards, cables and speakers on it in the reverse order. As soon as all the modules are in their places, you can start installing the frame and cover in place, as well as the subsequent check of the device's performance. The video describes this process in sufficient detail:

Self-repair of an LCD TV matrix is a fairly simple procedure, in which, first of all, it is not previously acquired skills that are important, but caution and strict adherence to instructions. If you have minimal experience in disassembling equipment, then you can replace the screen in your TV without any problems. But for more serious damage, you should make sure that you are able to fix the identified problem, and also make sure that such a repair is advisable. Some types of damage will cost TV owners 60-80% of the cost of a brand new model, so consider the economic benefits. If from a financial point of view, the repair does not seem an attractive solution, then you should give the TV to the workshop for spare parts, bailing out some money for it.
Without such a backlight, no LCD TV can work normally, regardless of its brand. We will tell you how you can repair LED TV backlighting at home using the example of a device from Lg, and what you need for this.
How can you tell if the backlight is broken? Suppose that the LCD TV's malfunction is as follows: it turns on from the remote control, but the screen does not light up (if your TV does not turn on even from the remote control, read about possible ways to reanimate the remote control). When the display is directed flashlight (i.e. forced illumination is performed), then the image is developed. Verdict - the ice driver or similar backlighting does not work, it may be due to the fact that special rulers with soldered LEDs have burned out. It is necessary to disassemble the TV and visually inspect the parts in search of a malfunction.
Attention! You can open the case of an LCD TV only if you have the skills to work with complex devices and a little experience, otherwise it is better not to risk it.
Remove the back cover any LG TV is a simple matter, you just need to do everything carefully and without haste: disconnect the legs of the stand and unscrew the mount around the entire perimeter of the product. If the cover cannot be removed, it means that there is a locking bolt, you should not make any efforts, you need to find it and unscrew it.
After removing the back cover, we check the output voltage.
If it is normal - check voltage ice backlight the screen itself. Its value is only 100V, which indicates the presence of a malfunction of the LCD TV backlight.
In such TVs, a special LED set with lenses is used as an ice-type backlight, which is installed over the entire area of the screen to provide clear illumination. To get to them and repair the LG TV backlight, you must first remove the matrix.
The TV has three main boards - main, T-con and power supply, all of which are clearly visible in the photo.
Removing and disassembling the matrix do it yourself - the work is very painstaking, one careless movement, and you can buy a new TV set, so without experience it is better not to undertake repairs. Experts highlight the following main points when disassembling the matrix:
it is necessary to prepare a place of work and two tables on which to lay matrices and scattering films;
before starting this work, you should thoroughly wash your hands so as not to accidentally leave traces of dirty fingers on the filters and the matrix itself - this can harm the image quality later;
special attention should be paid to decoders - one inaccurate movement can lead to a loop break.
Subsequent dismantling is carried out in several stages.
T-con board easily removed after disconnecting the loops and unscrewing the bolt located between them.
It is necessary to remove the metal protection from the decoders - for this we unscrew the fastening bolts on the sides, after which they are held only on the rubber fasteners.
It's time to delete front bezel of the TV - we unscrew the fastening bolts along the entire contour, put the product on the back cover and remove the frame.
We remove the frame, turn the screen over, but at the same time carefully hold the matrix, since it is not fixed by anything. The product lies on the matrix, decoders are on top and can be removed from the rubber mounts, but with extreme caution.
The matrix remained on the table so that it does not interfere with further work - transfer it to the previously prepared place.
Now the direct repair of the LED TV backlight begins: for this, you need to carefully unscrew all the latches along the contour, remove the plastic frame and remove the diffusing films to open the LEDs.
Different models of LG TVs will have their own set of LED backlighting: for the LG 32LN541U, these are three rows of 7 LEDs, and for the LG 32LB582V, three rows of 6 each.
In all TVs that use such a backlight, LEDs are connected in series, so if one of them burns out, the entire system stops working. If the LED driver is faulty, then the voltage is not supplied to the entire system, and when one of the LEDs burns out, the voltage goes on, but all the efforts of the device to light up the system are in vain: at least supply 200 volts, the circuit is open.
As you can see from the photo, the backlight consists of 18 LEDs, when measuring, the voltage without load was 140 V, that is, for each there was 7.8 V. When we take into account the voltage drop on each bar and the total load, the conclusion will be as follows: this model is used 6V LEDs.
Finding a burned-out LED is not easy: if there is no burning at the attachment point, then each element must be checked separately.
Replacing the TV backlight Lg can be difficult. Let's say that the test revealed several faulty LEDs.It is quite difficult to buy a replacement bar - these parts are not supplied to service centers, you can order them on the manufacturer's website, but this is long and very expensive. So there is only one way - replace individual diodes , although it will not be easy to find them on the radio market. Experts assure that you can buy already soldered, but serviceable ones, after a long search, these were the ones that were purchased.
Users should be aware that all planks are glued with double-sided tape , so you need to warm them up with a special soldering hairdryer so that the adhesive tape comes off. To do this, the bar is fixed in the holder and heated from below with a hairdryer, the tin is melted, and the faulty part is removed. Solder should be done in exactly the same way so as not to damage the LED.
Important! All lenses are fixed at the factory with a compound, therefore, when removing them, you must act very carefully, while each must then be reinstalled in order not to disturb the initial focusing.
Another caveat: you may come across LEDs with a minus pad that is slightly larger than the plus one, so you need to cut the contact point to solder the diode. This is what a soldered LED looks like:
The fact that the paint is slightly damaged is not a problem. We solder the rest of the LEDs in the same way, and glue the lenses on superglue ... And this is a repaired view of the assembled and ready-to-use backlight panel:
As we can see in practice, there are many specific nuances in the repair of the LED backlight of the LG TV matrix, and without knowing them, it is impossible to achieve a positive result.
When the repair of the Led system of LG TVs has been carried out completely, before making the final assembly, we connect the voltage to the strips and check the glow of all LEDs ... If everything is fine, then we assemble the TV, performing all operations sequentially and with care, as in the case of dismantling.
After the end, it is better not to set the backlight brightness to maximum, but to limit yourself to 75% - in this mode, the LEDs work in normal mode and, according to experts, will last much longer.
We install the TV in its original place, turn it on and enjoy the quality: if there are no extraneous spots of light or dark color anywhere on the screen, then the repair was carried out correctly, following all the recommendations. And to get the most out of your TV, learn how to properly tune digital channels on your LG TV.

Replacing the matrix on the TV: LG and Samsung, repairing the Samsung screen, shaking the cable, how to change it yourself
Replacing the matrix on the TV: 5 main signs of breakdown
Replacing the matrix on the TV is done in two ways. The matrix, as a rule, undergoes any damage very often. It could be broken by children, the TV has been dropped, or water has somehow gotten onto the screen. If stripes or any spots appear on the screen itself, it will not be very easy to remove them. And best of all, on the TV, just replace the matrix. Such a process cannot be called easy, the part itself is very expensive, since it is the main and important part of the TV.
Replacing the matrix of a TV, basically, occurs due to careless handling of it or the rules of its operation were not followed correctly. Without a matrix, the TV, as a rule, will not work. The repair process itself depends on the complexity of its breakdown.
If water gets on the monitor, then such a repair will be delayed, as it requires a careful approach. It will not be possible to make repairs on your own, because this is a very painstaking work and only a specially trained master will be able to cope with it.
Replacing the screen with a new one can be done if the matrix flew by mechanical damage. That is, if the damage occurs upon impact, and it bursts or scratches appear on the monitor.Then you can cope with such a task with your own hands, you just have to choose the right type of matrix. Since each TV display requires its individual type, with its own main features.
Careless handling of the TV leads to the replacement of the device matrix
The main signs indicating matrix breakage:
The usual image was replaced by vertical stripes of different colors;
Streaks and horizontal streaks have formed;
Dark circles appear on the monitor;
There are small spots on the screen of different colors;
The picture began to disappear partially or completely.
If you notice at least one sign, then you definitely need to make repairs. Restore the matrix if it has leaked or replace it with a new one. A broken matrix does not look aesthetically pleasing on a plasma TV, so it must be changed, without it the device simply will not work.
Today ice TVs and plasma TVs are not a gimmick. One of them can be found in almost every home, office or on the corner of a large supermarket. Such devices have specific breakdowns that require special repair. All well-known manufacturers: Samsung, Philips, Sony, Toshiba provide their warranty period, so the service center should provide its free services.
LCD TVs should be repaired when a microcircuit, loop, screen fails or problems arise with its backlight. All this indicates a breakdown of the matrix. It can be repaired manually or by contacting a service center.
It is sometimes impossible to fix the matrix, as the screen is cracked or completely broken. A broken matrix cannot be repaired, its restoration does not make sense. Therefore, it just needs to be replaced. But if the matrix cable is out of order above, then you can fix it yourself, using the master class lessons.
Repair of the TV matrix cable should be done in stages.
Loop repair instructions:
Disassemble the TV case;
Identify the damaged plume that needs to be repaired;
Carefully you need to disconnect the cable from the matrix, do not shake it, but pull it straight out;
Clean damaged contacts, degrease them;
Solder the contact;
Install the loop in place;
Assemble the device.
This process requires the utmost clarity and care so as not to damage the rest of the thin plumes. At the end of the work, the TV must be checked and made sure of the correctness of its actions. In order not to do such a responsible job, it will be easier to replace the damaged loop with a new one.
Each manufacturer uses an individual type of matrix for their TVs. There are three types of matrices: TN, IPS and VA. Most firms use VA and IPS matrices, as they are advanced models. They have excellent image quality, an excellent color palette and a good viewing angle.
However, these models are prone to breakdowns. Damage to the matrix occurs due to improper and careless handling of equipment. The screen should be regularly looked after, its surface should be cleaned with a soft cloth, do not use detergents and disinfectants.
The well-known company Samsung uses most of the matrix types in its production. One of them is the ltf320ap08 type. If, nevertheless, it breaks down, then it must be tried to be restored or replaced. First, we purchase the correct matrix that is suitable for your model, and then proceed with the repair.
Samsung TV Matrix can be replaced by yourself
Matrix replacement step by step:
Disassemble the TV. You need to disconnect the front of the TV from the back. The body is connected with self-tapping screws, which must be unscrewed with a screwdriver.
Place the die on a soft surface.
Disable all loops. This must be done very carefully so as not to damage the special fasteners of the loop. In this case, adhesive tape is applied to the surface of the joints.
Remove the matrix.
Connect a new element.
Assemble the device case in reverse order.
After all the work done, it is imperative to coordinate the matrix with the TV using the control panel. If this does not happen, you need to make certain settings by entering the TV menu.
Before replacing the screen in TVs from well-known manufacturers Samsung, Philips and LG, first, let's find out what a matrix is. It is a glass surface that contains a large number of pixels. They, in turn, can change the color and brightness of the image, depending on the impact of various signals from the external environment.
The matrix is the main element of TV. Each TV manufacturer uses a different type of matrix. For example, LG TVs use IPS matrices. This type does an excellent job of image clarity and contrast.
Today, LG TVs are hugely popular and are the top-selling model. However, improper handling of the TV leads to its breakdown.
LG TVs are popular today
Major malfunctions:
Cracked screen;
The microcircuit is out of order;
Loop problem;
Pixels have lost their functionality;
LED backlight is off.
Some malfunctions can be eliminated on your own, but more complex breakdowns (broken screen) require the help of a specialist. LG TV repair is practically no different from other devices. There are minor differences that can only be found in the design of the model itself.

Without a matrix, the TV will not work, since it is its basic component. Replacing the matrix is not an easy task. If you are not confident in your abilities, then it is better to seek help from specialists or to a service center. They will help to identify a breakdown, replace the failed parts.
I am interested in the successful experience of repairing the matrix, except for replacing the lamp.
And with the fall - this is a special case, which is now in front of me.
Thank you for your interest.

At the expense of know-how. In the late 90s Tefal was introduced to us as a know-how “in a frying pan”. But in fact: the first mention that I have met, AE Chichibanin "organic" already in 1954, the publication and achievement of Russian chemists. Maybe not in the subject, but “surprisingly close. "
And the matrices are really relevant. I have little experience, but eat from scratch. I don't hope for free, I hope to find understanding.

And how do you determine, if not a secret, which capacitor is faulty - by desoldering everything or on the board?

If you have stripes on the monitor - do not rush to throw away the matrix, it can be reanimated! Know-how. Anyway.

A couple of hours ago, I updated the previous post about the 19 ″ matrix, after that, during the experiments, I found out one important thing. It turns out that decoder cables, torn from the matrix board, can be returned quite easily (in the case when the cable has come off the glass, it is unlikely that anything can be done). How to attach it back? It's very simple - to SOLDER! 🙂
In order: 1. We separate the broken train completely. 2. We wash off with acetone the remnants of the conductive glue with which the loop was initially glued. 3. Abundantly apply a good flux to both the ribbon cable and the board (I have RMA-223-TF) and tinker with a soldering iron using the small “miniwave” tip, which I wrote about earlier. The tip collects all excess solder on its surface - there are no closed contacts. 4.We wash off all the flux. Small raised beads of solder should remain on the previously gold-plated contacts. It must be done carefully in order to get the same tubercles as possible. 5. We apply a very small amount of the same flux, combine the contacts on the loop and on the board, evenly heat posting.php? Mode = quote & f = 181 & p = 12617 with a thermal air. The solder melts, the plume floats and, under the action of the surface tension of the solder, finds its place by itself (like a BGA chip). At the same time, the plume softens from heating and takes on an ideally flat contact surface (when it is first separated, it is deformed). Due to the transparency of the loop, it is possible to draw conclusions about the presence of short circuits between adjacent contacts. I did it the first time without them. The train is made of a material similar in appearance and properties to polyamide or Kapton tape. At the melting point of the solder, it simply becomes softer, but does not change its linear dimensions.
Tried it on a broken matrix with nothing to lose. Now I will try on a working, but defective matrix from the previous post. I will try to take a photo.
Once again I was convinced of the need to purchase a microscope. Taken from the site of Sergey from Kramatorsk I wanted to send it yesterday, but the site does not allow me to write messages often
Maybe someone else would have repaired the matrix yesterday.
It is impossible to imagine a modern apartment or house without video and audio equipment. This equipment is used every day and therefore breaks down more often than others. There are several ways to repair TVs: send the technician to a service center, call a qualified technician at home, or make repairs with your own hands.
Before you start repairing a TV, you first need to make sure what the problem is. This will also help if you do the repair yourself, and then when the master comes, you will be able to explain the situation to him.
There are several types of malfunctions that can most often be found when a TV breaks down.
The technique does not turn off. In independence, a CRT TV or a modern LCD model has broken down, this malfunction is associated with a blown fuse. Only different models have distinctive details from each other. You should also pay attention to the diode bridge - perhaps it was he who burned out.
In both domestic and imported models, the potential can often go astray, for the function of which the posistor is responsible.
If the plasma TV monitor is broken, then the problem, most often, is interference or drops, light or dark stripes may appear, color changes while watching a program or movie.
The problem may be a broken cord or a faulty outlet.
If we take into account all the troubles listed above, it is worth saying that the most difficult breakdown is considered to be a screen malfunction. For example, light reflections appear on your monitor after the liquid hits the matrix or the TV is hit, then it is better to carry it to the teleservice. Here it will certainly be repaired, and if the warranty period has not expired, then it will be free of charge or at a reduced price.

You can try to fix some malfunctions of TVs yourself. And it doesn't matter here - these are LCD models, LCD or LED, it is not necessary to call the wizard if you are confident in your abilities. But caution never hurts, because such TV models are not cheap, and without having any repair experience or knowledge in this area, you can only harm and aggravate the breakdown.
Before you start repairing LED or LCD TVs, you must carefully read the instructions, and also study the principle of operation of your model. Anyone, even far from this field, will understand that the repair of TVs such as LCD or LED will differ from CRT models.In the latter case, you are guaranteed not to run into a faulty PTC thermistor. The main thing here is to determine the problem, why does the backlight not work?
If you are repairing LCD, LED models, then the only difference here will be what kind of backlight is used. If it is an LCD TV, then the backlighting is produced using fluorescent or fluorescent lamps. For TVs, LED backlighting is produced using LEDs. At this stage, the differences between LCD models usually end.
VIDEO
The breakdown can only consist in the fact that there is no power, in order to check this on an LCD TV, you can do the following with your own hands:
open the back cover of the model;
remove the wires connected to the matrix;
connect the working lamp to the contacts;
there are also LCD models in which more than one light source is provided. In this case, all sources must be tested. Just dismantle the matrix and plug your TV into the network - you can see which LED is the problem.
When a broken lamp in an LED or LCD TV is identified, it must be replaced. This stage requires maximum care from the master, as well as the manifestation of special attention. In some cases, the lamp is removed without removing the matrix, you just need to move the protection elements with a rubber gasket and pull out the lamp with a soldering iron. Similarly, it is necessary to mount a working light bulb. Now we can congratulate you - you did the repair of the LCD TV with your own hands! Just pay attention to one important nuance - a new light bulb must fully meet the parameters and dimensions of the broken one!
To repair TVs yourself, look carefully at the matrix! If there are "unhealthy" streaks here, then the breakage is in the matrix. Have a new part? Then everything is simple! You change it and turn on the TV, if it works, then you have accurately identified the breakdown.
If the reason for the breakdown of LCD TVs is the screen, then it is best to purchase new models of LCD or LED equipment. It is not recommended to change the screen of LCD and LED models, as it is impractical! This also applies to the LCD matrix.
What could be the problem with a malfunctioning plasma TV? If it is necessary to repair plasma TVs, then proceed in the same way as described above. Just adapt it to your specific situation. This description can be applied to any model of plasma TV, just stock up on the necessary tools in advance.
Although today most users prefer to use plasma, many still watch programs on more outdated CRT models. Let's find out how to repair a breakdown in such TVs. Below is a step-by-step instruction that will help you repair your electron beam product with your own hands.
If you do not turn on such a device, check first of all the fuses. In these TVs, the back is made up of panels. Therefore, it is necessary to unscrew that part of the panels. Under such panels you will find a board and the power terminals must be connected to the fuse. They are connected to a conventional incandescent lamp, or rather to its base, after which the TV must be connected to the network. In the event that your equipment is in good working order, the lamp will go out after switching on, otherwise, when the fuse has blown, it will either not work at all, or it will constantly burn.
The diode bridge may also break. It should only be borne in mind that it is necessary to regulate and repair it only after making a dial. In this case, not only a multimeter is used, but also a product passport, which indicates the main parameters of this model.
The most difficult breakdown in a TV with a kinescope is a posistor. To check with your own hands, you must first turn off the power circuit, and then turn it on. In this case, the lamp must be monitored.If the work lamp goes out, then it can be said that the posistor is faulty. To make repairs, it is necessary to adjust the resistance of the network and only ventures to change this part.
Video (click to play).
But not only the matter may be in the posistor, transistors and capacitors burn out in CRT models. The diagnosis of this breakdown can also be made visually. If the condensate is blackened or cracked, then we replace it with a serviceable analogue. Now you know why the TV does not work and how to fix it yourself.
