Driving a small peg into the upper end of the leg will help to increase the density and strength of the connection. For this, a gap is preliminarily sawn at the end. As a result, the size of the butt end expands slightly, and the docking points in the old chair acquire sufficient density. The ends (pins), erased along the outer surface, are restored by winding a bandage soaked in PVA glue. Before final assembly, the recesses in the seat are coated with glue;
chairs that had crossbars in the design for connecting between the legs are loosened not only at the joints of the legs to the seat, but also in the joints of the crossbars to the legs. Most often, you can not disassemble them, but screw in the screws and additionally glue them. For gluing, a narrow hole is drilled through which drops of glue are injected into the joint using a syringe. You can increase the closure density by hammering in small narrow wedges;
when restoring chairs with loose screw connections, a match is inserted into the too wide diameter of the connection (as a wedge) and then the screw is screwed in;
any connections can be securely reinforced with metal corners.

after assembly, the structure is primed and covered with a coating - varnish or paint. Variants of the original cover - decoupage or painting, inscription on chairs or one drawing in parts for two seats;
the new upholstery of the old chair will be made with the fabric you like when the chair is painted and dried. Old fabric and padding are removed completely and without regret. Foam rubber and outer fabric are cut to fit the seat. They are then applied to the seat, aligned and tensioned. Folds are made in the corners, the fabric is tucked up and fastened with paper clips and a special stapler or studs with a wide head;
adding original details, decorations. For example, you can make additional details in the form of deer antlers, donkey ears or a highchair with a soft back in the form of an animal.

An interesting thought: the fastest restoration measure will be the sewing of the cover. Such a measure will allow in a limited time to decorate the interior with a restored piece of furniture.
