Align the braid to the width of the leg and pin it.

We tighten the braid, smooth the seam allowances in different directions.

Next, we turn the braid so that the braid protrudes 1 mm above the main fabric.

We stretch the braid along the very edge.

It is ideal to get into the old stitching, but this does not always work, especially if the pants were originally hemmed unevenly. To remove marks from old stitching, wash the bottom of your trousers with laundry soap and hot water. Usually the color of the jeans is evened out.

Now we can safely move on to the piece of jeans on a sewing machine. Starting at one end, zigzag stitching. We lay the line as often as possible and closer to each other. If the typewriter does not have a reverse mechanism, then you will have to raise the foot each time and unfold the product ... if your unit has a reverse lever, then everything is much simpler.By clicking on it at the right moment, your machine will give the line back.

When the backing piece has been attached sufficiently with machine stitching, you can safely remove the pins. And continue working until you see that the hole is completely sewn up.
