The problem, again, lies in the damper, the drive of which does not allow the lever to open the position "to the feet".   2. To do this, you need a tee - you can make it according to the specified dimensions, or pick up something from the commercially available (plumbing tees, tees from the cooling system of cars of other brands)

Cut off the throttle valve heating return pipe (which fits on top of the expansion tank), about 5-6 cm from the tank itself.

From the side of the expansion tank, this pipe must be plugged. We insert a bolt (or a piece of a rod) into the hose in size, tightly squeeze it with a clamp. It is advisable to wrap the bolt a little with FUM tape

We cut the branch pipe going from the bottom of the expansion tank. We cut it in the place where it goes vertically. We shorten at the incision site by about 3-4 cm, because this distance will be taken by a tee.

We insert a tee into the cut ends of this pipe, and on the remaining fitting of the tee we put on the return pipe from the throttle valve heating, which was previously connected to the top of the expansion tank (we cut it off in the previous step).

We compress all the tee fittings with clamps

A very good option for a ready-made tee can be purchased at a plumbing store:

  • 1 tee
  • 2 nipples 20 mm
  • 1 nipple 10 mm

We assemble the parts either using gaskets or using FUM tape. We put on branch pipes on the fittings and squeeze with clamps

You can make the specified revision without installing a tee and rearranging the pipes. We take a small piece, about 40 cm, of the brake pipe from the VAZ-2108 (maybe it will fit from other cars).

We bend the tube as shown in the photo. With the return pipe from the throttle valve removed, we insert the tube into the tank at one end, and on the other end we put on the return pipe from the DZ (do not forget about the clamps, they should already be on the pipe)

After installing the tee, it is necessary to expel air from the cooling system. We put the car up a hill (in front of it higher than the back), put it on the handbrake, start it up. We open the hood, remove the cover from the expansion tank. Add antifreeze above MAX. We raise the revolutions by about 3000 (for the cable), with the other hand we pump the pipe going to the stove. At the same time, we look at the level in the tank - if it falls, then top up. We do this procedure until the level in the tank stops dropping.

After some time, the stove in the car stops working and does not perform the functions that are assigned to it. Then you will need urgent repair of the Daewoo Nexia stove. Experts note that the main reason for failures is the presence of air in the cooling system of the power unit. To be more specific, we are talking about the radiator of the vehicle's stove itself.

Some car enthusiasts offer to purge air from the cooling system. However, as practice shows, this method does not help for long. After 2-3 months, air again enters the Daewoo Nexia stove, and the problem with heating repeats again. As a result, the stove delivers cool air into the vehicle interior, which, of course, is not enough for the driver and passengers to drive normally in it.

How to repair a stove with your own hands on a Daewoo Nexia? In order to understand for what reasons air can enter the stove, several sequential steps should be taken.

  1. It is necessary to carefully remove the cover, which is installed on the expansion tank of the cooling system.
  2. Now you should slightly add gas on the car.
  3. In such a situation, antifreeze begins to flow into the tank from the reverse throttle valve. Experts also call this the waterfall effect. In this case, the liquid enters the tank from a great height, and when it comes into contact with the surface of the antifreeze itself, air bubbles are formed. Then they end up in the cooling system, which leads to airing.

In order to be able to eliminate this problem, they came up with a very original method. Its essence is to return the drain from the return line on the throttle valve to the branch pipe. Before that, the drain went immediately into the tank itself. In order to repair the stove, you need a tee. You can do it yourself or you can find the required tee in the retail network, where a large selection of plumbing products is offered.

In this case, you will need to purchase the following items:

  1. One tee.
  2. Two unions with a diameter of 20 mm.
  3. One fitting with a diameter of 10 mm.

Now the parts are being assembled using shims. Further, the branch pipes are put directly on the fittings. After that, the parts are crimped using clamps.

The technology of the work is as follows:

  1. We cut the nozzle in the heating return line of the throttle valve. This refers to the one that is directly supplied from the top of the expansion tank. It is necessary to maintain a distance of 5 or 6 cm from the surface of the tank.
  2. Now, from the side of the expansion tank, this pipe must be plugged. To do this, you can insert a piece of a rod or a bolt into the hose that matches the size of its inner diameter.
  3. We crimp with the clamp of this pipe. For this, it is recommended to wrap the bolt with a special FUM tape.
  4. We cut the pipe that comes from the bottom of the expansion tank. The incision is made in its vertical section in relation to the horizon.
  5. In the place where the cut was made, we shorten the branch pipe by 3 cm. This is necessary so that you can put a tee there.
  6. Now, in both ends of the branch pipe, which turned out after cutting it, we insert the selected tee.
  7. On the tee fitting, which has remained free, you should put on the return pipe coming from the throttle valve. We remind you that earlier it was connected to the top of the expansion tank.
  8. All fittings are now crimped using prepared clamps.

How to change the stove pipes in places on the Nexia? It is better to change them on the engine than on the radiator. As a result, the supply and return on the radiator will change places. By changing the nozzles, you can greatly improve the performance of the stove.

  6. We monitor the liquid level in the tank. When it decreases, we fill it up to the maximum mark.
  7. It is necessary to carry out such actions as long as the level in the tank is in the same state.

After all the repair work is over, before starting the trip, we check the liquid level in the tank. If necessary, we supplement it to the desired value. In a situation where these procedures do not bring the desired result, we replace the Daewoo Nexia stove.
