Hello. Ordered on Aliexpress to replace the screen (ED050SU2) with the old PB360.
At first, I did not understand that they had sent the wrong model and tried to connect it to the board. After turning on the screen, it worked, but you can hardly distinguish anything on it.
The name and description of the lot indicate that it is ED050SU2 (I cannot post the URL, because I just registered), but judging by the barcode, I was sent ED050SC3 (original, broken screen - below, with Vcom -2.05V).
The model number was hidden under the “Made in China” sticker, but when I tore it off, it turned out to be poorly printed. Although, it is quite clearly visible that in place of the letter U there is some other one, which led me to suspicion. They were confirmed when I found the datasheet from ED050SC3 (in the hope that they are similar) with barcode decoding. The first three characters encode the model number, and E0Y corresponds exactly to ED050SC3. ED050SU2 must have E1G or E03.
I wrote to the seller that he had sent me the wrong model and answered: “LCD is the same”. The seller is clearly at odds with English, but could it be that these models are really interchangeable?
