Of course, by setting the speed to maximum, you can shorten the harvesting time for a given area, but what happens to the quality?
It is likely that the operator will have to re-walk contaminated areas with the machine, which means that no time savings can be achieved.Why? Recall that one of the most important factors in effective cleaning is the exposure time of the cleaning agent to dirt.

First, the cleaning agent is supplied to the brush unit, then it must be collected together with the dirt in the suction bar.
The distance between the brushes and the beam is about one meter. That is, we must give a certain time for the cleaning agent to act on the contaminated coating over a length of one meter.
If we recalculate the speed of 6 km / h into comparable units, we get about 1.67 meters per second. Naturally, with such a speed indicator, it is impossible to effectively separate the dirt.
So what is the optimal cleaning speed? It is equal to 2.5-3.5 km / h. First of all, it depends on the object of cleaning and the time of cleaning (night or day).
When the room is very crowded, the working speed will be lower, since the operator will need to maneuver more often and, thus, reduce the cleaning speed.
If cleaning is done in shopping malls during the day, the working speed will be lower if the same cleaning is done at night. An important aspect here is the safety of the machine in conditions of high traffic of visitors.
