        It is carried out with the aim of eliminating all stains that form over time, even with optimal maintenance cleaning. This type of cleaning is characterized by high labor and cleaning costs.
        The disc brush assembly is used for maintenance cleaning, that is, during daily cleaning. The specific pressure of a disk brush per unit surface is 7 times lower than that of a roller brush.

        
        We know that there is no need for a strong brush pressure for daily cleaning. This is why a disc brush head is used for daily cleaning.

        But there are objects, first of all, warehouse complexes, the nature of the pollution of which is such that not only washing, but also sweeping of the surface is required.
        For example, groats, pieces of paper packaging, small food waste, etc .; on the floors of vegetable warehouses, there may be pulp of crushed vegetables, grains, pieces of packaging, chips of pallets; in warehouse complexes of industrial goods, it is necessary to remove various dry small garbage. In such cases, a roller brush head is more commonly used.

        How to choose the sealing strips?

        

        Along with the type of suction bar, the correct set of sealing strips must be selected. And here the choice also depends on the type of coverage.

        There are three types of sealing strips: profiled (standard); slotted (slotted) and solid.
        When working on elastic (for example, self-leveling floor) or hard (concrete floor) seamless coatings, it is necessary to use slotted strips.
        They are also great for cleaning tiled floors, although standard strips can also be used for this purpose.
        As standard, the machines are equipped with suction bars with polyurethane oil-resistant standard sealing strips, as they are 80% suitable for cleaning modern coatings used. When it comes to a structured coating, only continuous strips should be used, since the depressions in the coating already create the necessary vacuum to suck in the liquid, which means that there is no need for any slots in the strips.

        What happens if I use standard strips or slotted strips when cleaning structured floors?

        Due to the presence of depressions in the surface and slots in the strips, the vacuum will be very small and not enough to collect dirt. How to choose a working speed?
        The maximum speed of the scrubber is 6 km / h (7 km / h for BR 100/250). But this does not mean that running behind the machine at that speed can increase harvesting performance.
        Of course, by setting the speed to maximum, you can shorten the harvesting time for a given area, but what happens to the quality?
        It is likely that the operator will have to re-walk contaminated areas with the machine, which means that no time savings can be achieved.

        Why? Recall that one of the most important factors in effective cleaning is the exposure time of the cleaning agent to dirt.

        Let's see how the scrubber drier works.

        First, the cleaning agent is supplied to the brush unit, then it must be collected together with the dirt in the suction bar.
        The distance between the brushes and the beam is about one meter. That is, we must give a certain time for the cleaning agent to act on the contaminated coating over a length of one meter.
        If we recalculate the speed of 6 km / h into comparable units, we get about 1.67 meters per second. Naturally, with such a speed indicator, it is impossible to effectively separate the dirt.
        So what is the optimal cleaning speed? It is equal to 2.5-3.5 km / h. First of all, it depends on the object of cleaning and the time of cleaning (night or day).
        When the room is very crowded, the working speed will be lower, since the operator will need to maneuver more often and, thus, reduce the cleaning speed.
        If cleaning is done in shopping malls during the day, the working speed will be lower if the same cleaning is done at night. An important aspect here is the safety of the machine in conditions of high traffic of visitors.
        In order to avoid setting the wrong speed mode, it is recommended to immediately limit the maximum speed in the menu settings (on the model B 80) or using the rotary control (on machines T 40 and T 60).
