DIY bosch optima 50 vacuum cleaner repair

In detail: do-it-yourself repair of a bosch optima 50 vacuum cleaner from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.

Today I got my hands on a wonderful example of German engineers - a Bosch vacuum cleaner. This mechanism did not last long without problems. But he got on my table, which means there are chances for a second life.
Using this vacuum cleaner as an example, I will tell you how to cure its "sore" (thank God, not fatal), which Bosch vacuum cleaners often suffer from.

With the lid closed, we check with our hand if there is a draft. There is no thrust, which means we are moving on to removing unnecessary filters that can affect the thrust. After removing the internal filter in the debris compartment, we look into the hole where the engine is located. And here it is, our problem: the engine impeller is clogged with debris. Most likely, this happens through an oversight of the owners. The bag was not inserted tightly, the filter has not been cleaned or changed for a long time, etc.

So, patient, let's get down to the autopsy right away.

First, remove the top cover. If this is not done, it will interfere with us. Carefully wring out the cover fasteners with a flat screwdriver.

Now we are looking for self-tapping screws for opening the case. Two of them are hidden under the sealing rubber of the cover we removed. One - under the power button (it also needs to be removed, with the same flat screwdriver, pressing the fasteners on the side). Now, using the Torx15 attachment, we unscrew the screws we found.

We unscrew the only self-tapping screw that separates us from the target and easily separate the motor box cover upwards, not forgetting to pry it in front with a screwdriver.

Our nesting doll has opened! Our motor is hidden inside on the "cabbage leaves" of soundproofing. And to the right of it is the control unit. This is to him through a network cable, and then electrons run through the cable-laying machine in order to rotate the ill-fated impeller.

Something I have distracted from the motor. We remove the power terminal and remove the motor. A pile of hair and dust - that's what appears before our clear eyes. All this "wealth" is stuck in the holes of the impeller, the task of which is to draw in air while rotating.

A second vacuum cleaner borrowed from good neighbors will help us to deal with this problem. "We clean, clean the chimney sweep ...", well, you get the idea. Chimney sweep, i.e. the engine is clean. Now other nooks and crannies need to be cleaned as well. I'm talking about the body itself and sound insulation, which not only makes our vacuum cleaner quieter and more expensive, but also collects dirt no worse than a regular janitor. Everything is clean, so it's time to sew up the patient, that is. gather. Don't forget the tools inside.
The assembly process of the vacuum cleaner is carried out in the reverse order of the disassembly process.

And so he began to sing and hum, drawing in air, saying in his own language "Thank you, Friend!"
