It seems to have helped, but now - somewhere in 8-9 months - again sometimes I hear extraneous similar sounds from under the hood.
2) under warranty, the rear window heating was repaired: somehow part of one heating thread came off - they recognized it as a warranty case, applied some kind of electric paste (conductive) and it seemed to help.

If you bought an element with a diameter of 56 mm for tuning, when installing it, you will have to cut down a significant part of the cylinders. Otherwise, the part simply will not fall into place.
If you buy a 52-mm damper for about 6 thousand rubles, then there will be no problems with its installation on the Stepway. To install the element with our own hands, we need a hammer, a set of wrenches and screwdrivers, pliers. First you need to open the hood and remove the protective pad at the top of the motor. In this case, you need to be extremely careful, since in Sandero models released after 2014, the pad is attached with belts. They need to be snapped off under the Renault engine.
After dismantling the protection, you need to remove the standard filter by unscrewing 4 fastening nuts. Next, we remove the filter housing and disconnect its branch pipe. We take out the last one and turn off the three branch pipes of the standard Stepway choke.Then we unscrew the throttle body and completely pull out the part from under the Renault hood.
