DIY ritmix rbk 470 repair

In detail: do-it-yourself repair of ritmix rbk 470 from a real wizard for the site my.housecope.com.

An e-book Ritmix RBK - 470 with a broken sensor was received for repair.

We disassemble the e-book. The upper part of the case is fastened with clasps. We snap them off.

The speaker wires go from the top of the case to the board, we unsolder them and the battery wires.

The panel with side buttons is attached to the upper part of the case with bolts, unscrew them.

Now detach the panel from the top panel, on which the screen and the board are located. The panel is only held in place by bolt heads. This, unfortunately, does not provide a secure fit.

We unsolder the loop of the side buttons.

Next, we proceed directly to replacing the touch panel. Beforehand, the edges of the sensor must be heated with a hair dryer to facilitate the removal process.

Use any flat object to pry the edge of the touch panel and remove it. We remember that the panel is broken, which means that you need to disconnect it very carefully.

Now we attach a new sensor. There is double-sided tape on the edges, so we just apply and press it down.

It turned out that the cable plug of the old touch panel and the new one are slightly different, so we do the following. We cut off the end of the new sensor cable and a small piece from the old cable and solder them.

To make the soldering more durable, we will fix it with these wires.

We wrap the junction of the loops with electrical tape to prevent a short circuit.

We attach the panel sensor cable to the board and fix it with tape on the screen panel.

After that, we can reassemble the e-book in reverse order and test the new e-book.
