If the plastic corners / fasteners of the mosquito net are broken or you decide to change them in advance, then it is better to do this:
Unscrew and inspect the old self-tapping screws, if there are plastic residues on the threads, then it must be removed, otherwise, when you try to screw them, you will rip off the threads and be forced to install the mount in a new place.
When screwing, you do not need to press on the self-tapping screw. First, the screw should be rotated counterclockwise until it rises and drops sharply - it snaps into place. If the self-tapping screw is immediately rotated clockwise, then you may not get into the thread and rip it off.
If the old self-tapping screws with a feather / drill (see photo below), then it is more correct to replace them with new ones with the same diameter and thread pitch, but without a feather, otherwise, again, there is a possibility of thread breaking.
