Repair is elementary: old parts are carefully removed, contact pads are cleaned of dust, wiped with alcohol. After that, it is enough to install new brushes.
You can purchase a replacement part both in specialized points and in stores selling spare parts for electronic devices. The body of the jigsaw opens, the corresponding part is freed from the wire leads. This should often be done after unscrewing the terminal block screws. Modern models are not forced to use a soldering iron. After removing the old, the new part is installed and connected.
It is better to disassemble the case and dismantle the button before going to the store in order to buy exactly the same part in the seat.
