If, in order to increase ride comfort, such a simple tuning as installing a seat is made, the Niva can be transformed from the inside beyond recognition. The fact is that the regular front seat of the Niva-21213 car does not shine with convenience, and its placement becomes a problem for tall or short drivers and passengers. As always, craftsmen found an acceptable way out of the situation: to replace the "native" with new or used front seats, often complete with rear ones.
A lot of complaints from motorists about Niva factory seats come for several reasons:
- it is difficult for a tall driver to find a comfortable position, literally - “the knees rest against the dashboard”;
- undersized motorists have the opposite complaint - “legs dangle in the air”;
- the seat folding mechanism often breaks down, which is why it constantly needs to be repaired;

The simplest solution to the problem is the development by the designers of the AvtoVAZ enterprise of height-adjustable seats. But often welding is indispensable, especially when replacing the rear sofa.
Seats from foreign business class cars, such as the BMW 5 Series, are equipped with the following additional features:
- electric position adjustment;
- heating;
- airbag for rear passengers.
If you need to put comfortable seats from a Mercedes or BMW in the Niva, you will have to tinker with connecting them to the car's electrical network. Otherwise, such an acquisition and replacement lose their meaning, sofas from Ford Focus II will cost less. Another problem has been noticed: the seats from elite cars are wider in size, which is why the backrest almost rests on the Niva door, and the seat belt is pinched.

Then the sled is attached to the profile with self-tapping screws so that the caps of the latter do not interfere with the longitudinal movement of the seat.
With a total mismatch of the attachment points, it is necessary to use the welding machine. With its help, a transitional frame of steel corners is welded, on which a new chair will stand.
