The cable is inspected for damage and generously coated with grease. The new mechanism is inserted into the drum with the shaft first. The mounting holes are aligned and the damper studs are twisted. If the front windows do not fall completely, then they inspect the power window tube of the Lada Kalina.

The last element is located on the outside of the glass. In order for it to descend without problems, you will need to shorten the rubber bumpers of the window regulator. To do this, use nippers. The elastic is shortened by 1 cm. The cable is lubricated and moved to another position. The power window control unit and the geared motor are assembled in reverse order.

How to get to the gearbox

If the gearbox operates in the other direction, then the polarity is reversed. For this, pins are pulled out of the connector. They are inserted into the corresponding grooves using a thin screwdriver. Dismantling the Lada Kalina's window regulator will allow you to clean the seal from dust and dirt, lubricate the lock well, treat the inner lower part of the door with anticorrosive material. If the window lifter lowers without problems, but rises with mechanical assistance, then you need to look at the gears. The repair is carried out using a set of screwdrivers. The door trim is dismantled. You will first need to remove the switch block. Then unscrew the 3 nuts that secure the geared motor.

The next step is to unscrew the 4 nuts securing the right side of the mechanism and 2 bolts securing the glass. The wire harness connector is disconnected. If the right side of the window regulator is turned off, then the corresponding pillar is tilted to the left. The geared motor is dismantled. The self-tapping screws of the gearbox cover are turned off, the cover is dismantled. Remove the gear with a screwdriver. The body is cleaned of dirt and old grease. The bearing, worm and gear will need to be lubricated. The newly assembled structure is put into place. In this case, you need to install 2 spacers between the gear and the window housing.

The cover is installed in its original place, self-tapping screws are screwed in. The remaining elements are mounted in the reverse order. The ignition turns on, the power window starts. 7. Take a screwdriver and remove the gear by prying it under the "clutch bracket" (photo No. 7).

8. We clean the body from dirt and old grease, grease the worm, gear and bearing.

9. We put in the reverse order the new assembled gear with a "clutch bracket", not forgetting to put two gaskets in the form of washer washers between the gear and the window housing.

10. We close the gear with a cover and fasten it with self-tapping screws as on (photo no. 6).

11. And install everything back.

Here we need:

two keys, 10 and 8
masking tape.

Also, as in the case of the front power windows, we lift the glass all the way and fasten it with tape.
Using the 8 key, we turn off the three nuts securing the mechanism.
Take a 10 key and remove 2 bolts and 3 nuts.
Now it will be easy to pull the device out through the hole at the bottom of the tailgate.

Dismantling completed. Carefully examine the condition of the device, if it cannot be repaired, replace it with a new one.

As you can already guess, the installation of the window regulator is carried out in the strictly reverse order to its dismantling, the only thing is that you first need to treat the guide of the device with grease.

The installation procedure for the front lifts is as follows:

We fasten the new device with nuts (11 pieces);
We connect the wires and the motor;

Now, using a 10 head, it is necessary to unscrew the 11 nuts securing the trapezium of the window regulator to the door body.

When you unscrew the last nuts, hold the entire assembly so that it does not dangle inside the door.

Then we push the studs inside and carefully remove the trapezoid assembly with the motor from the door opening. First, we tilt the right side of it, as shown in the photo below:

We carefully pull it out of the door, and then in the same way we carry out further actions with the second bar and the motor.

Now the whole structure is removed from the car and is as follows.

In order to replace the motor itself directly, we first unscrew three studs:

And after that, using a flat screwdriver, unscrew the 4 fastening screws, which are clearly visible below.

Next, carefully raise the motor with the lid so that the coil does not "unfold" and the cable remains wound, otherwise then you can suffer for a long time with refueling it in place.

At first, the coil may remain on the motor, but then we carefully pry it off and install it in its place.

Now you can put the new motor in place by putting it on the reel and placing the body until it is fully aligned with the body on the trapezoid.

We can say, we close this whole structure until both parts are tightly connected, and we tighten the fastening screws in place. Then the installation can be carried out in the reverse order. The price of a new motor complete with a window lifter trapezoid for Kalina is about 1,800 rubles for an original part. Separately, everything can be bought for half the cost of the kit.
