Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair

In detail: do-it-yourself repair of eureka washing machines from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.

Designed for washing, rinsing and spinning clothes at home.

The main units of the SMP-2 EUREKA semi-automatic washing machine are: case, control unit, washing tank.

The machine body is collapsible, rectangular, formed by the front and rear walls, sidewalls, top panel and base. The body and its top panel are made of stainless steel sheet with subsequent painting with a protective and decorative coating.

To the base of the machine are attached the support legs of the washing tank, condenser blocks, counterweights for the dynamic stability of the machine in spinning mode and an electric pump.

The pump is used to drain and pump water. The design of the pump is made with a special removable filter that allows periodic cleaning of the pump. The casing in its lower part is fixed with screws to the base,

which for the convenience of moving the machine is installed on four round rollers. The two front rollers are eccentric to the axis of rotation. Due to this, in the event of longitudinal vibrations of the machine in the spinning mode, additional (except for the action of counterweights) forces appear, which contribute to a greater dynamic stability of the machine and a decrease in the amplitude of oscillations of its body.

On the front wall of the case, at the bottom, there is a window. It provides access to the removable pump filter in case of clogging and when draining residual detergent solution. The window is covered with a metal cover with a beak for opening.

Video (click to play).

On the rear wall of the body there is a niche in which the outlet of the connecting electric cord is located, and two fittings are installed. Flexible hoses are put on these fittings, which serve to fill water into the washing tank and drain the used solution from it.

The top panel is fastened with ties to the side walls of the washing tub and has a stamped flange along the entire perimeter. On the top panel there is a loading opening window for placing the laundry in the drum of the washing tub. This part of the panel is covered by a cover, on the inside of which a seal for the inlet opening is fastened with screws. The inlet cover is axially fastened to the panel. In the closed position, the lid is flush with the flanged top panel.

For the safety of working with the machine, the cover is electrically interlocked. On the top of the cover there is an opening handle for the operator's right hand.

The control unit is installed on the top of the washing machine in an optimal ergonomic area. The control unit consists of a time relay, a water level indicator, a mode switch and an information panel, which is attached to the control unit.

The machine is started and operations are switched by turning (clockwise) the time relay knob displayed on the information scale. The relay allows you to set the duration of any operation up to 25 minutes. The mode of washing, spinning and draining of the used solution is carried out by installing the mode selector knob, which is displayed on the information scale.

The washing tub with built-in washing drum is made of stainless steel sheet. On the side walls of the tank, there are two center bearing assemblies with seals that support the washing drum axle shafts, as well as two support posts. The drum is placed in a washing tub and consists of two walls and a round shell.On the inner surface of the drum, four ridges are radially located, which provide shoveling of the laundry and mixing the solution. On the shell there is a loading hole with a lid for loading laundry. When washing in a reversibly rotating washing drum, the laundry is caught by the combs, lifted by its own weight, and falls into the washing solution. At the same time, the laundry rubs against the combs and the perforated drum shell. The spinning of the laundry is carried out in the same washing drum at an increased rotation speed.

The rotation of the drum and the pump impeller in the washing and spinning modes is carried out by three individual electric drives. During washing, to prevent the laundry from twisting into a bundle, a cyclic reverse rotation of the washing drum is provided (12 s - rotation, 3 s - pause). Each operation (washing, rinsing, draining, spinning) and stopping the machine is automated.

The main advantages of the new EUREKA model in comparison with semi-automatic washing machines currently produced by the domestic industry, which are two-tank machines of the activator type, are as follows:

  • the smaller dimensions of the case allow it to be installed under the table during storage;
  • less linen wear out;
  • it is possible to wash products from some synthetic fabrics;
  • more economical consumption of water and detergents;
  • the costs of manual labor are significantly reduced due to the combination of washing and spinning processes in one washing drum.

Rice. 2 Electrical schematic diagram of the Eureka washing machine.

The electrical equipment of the EUREKA washing machine consists of:

  • time relay (V) 8-RV-ZO;
  • two-speed asynchronous electric motor (MB) DASM-2;
  • pump drive electric motor (MH) KD-50;
  • washing mode switch (VRS), which is a PPZ-10 / NZ packet switch;
  • interlock switch (VB), which is a microswitch MP2102 isp. 3;
  • a drum rotation direction switch, consisting of a reverse mechanism (MR) and a synchronous electric motor (MMR) DSM2-P-220;
  • three capacitors (C1 = 16 μF; C2 = 16 μF; СЗ = 4 μF) MBGCh-1-1-500-4 ± 10%.

The machine is put into operation by turning the time relay knob (B) all the way. The contacts of the washing mode switch (VRS), depending on the preset washing mode (position of the switch knob), control the operation of the electric motors.

Modes "Washing", "Rinsing" - the windings of 1 electric motor (MB) are turned on, and the switch of the direction of rotation (contacts МР) performs its reverse operation. "Drain" mode - the pump motor is switched on, and the MB motor (winding 1) rotates only in one specified direction. "Spin" mode - the windings of the II electric motor MB (high speed) are on, the pump motor is also on. The interlocking switch (VB) is designed to turn off the electric motor (MB) when the top cover of the washing machine is lifted. The electric motor for the arrival of the washing drum (MB) is equipped with a built-in protective thermal relay.

The time switch installed on the machines usually allows you to adjust the wash time from 0 to 6 minutes. For the best quality wash, the cycle of the machine should be as follows: 50 s - rotation in one direction, 10 s - break, 50 s - rotation in the other direction, 10 s - break, etc. In this case, the washing machine can be improved, see the modernization of the washing machine, where a device for reversing the CM electric motor is proposed. This device is also suitable in case of failure of the cyclic time relay.

Broke down washing machine EUREKA-semiautomatic device 3M... Served faithfully for over 20 years.
Diagnosis: water does not drain out after washing.
The filter is clean, there are no kinks in the drain hose. Found a specialist - says that repairs are possible. Either cleaning or replacing the drain pump.
I would like to ask, just in case: can this be the only reason? Does it make sense to make this repair? For the money it seemed to me acceptable - but can I immediately invest it in the purchase of a new car? It's just a pity for an old friend - hums, groans, but pulls the strap. He just doesn't pour out the water. Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair

IMHO no. I remember this car as a bad dream.

Doesn't buzz and water doesn't flow? Then, most likely a pump. It hums, but the water does not flow - a blockage. It was the same, changing the pump assembly. Repaired. Then, however, I bought another, but I sold this one (without blushing) and now I have already invested THIS deny in a new one. And so - he will go to the dacha. And the newlyweds bought from me according to the announcement.

GenVik, thanks for the experience and good advice.
Actually, this apparatus is working there for me - at the dacha. But it's a pity to throw it away - after all, I plowed it honestly. And - again, purely from my experience - not bad at all.
Thank you all for your opinions. I will renovate. I will report on the results.

Eureka-92 semiautomatic device smp-3B got nothing for nothing, no instructions tell me how to use it with parents for a year already - but they wash it with a "baby"

The other day I got, as they say, for free, a washing machine Eureka 3M. I found various information on the instructions for it: ">
I read it, just did not understand how to turn on all these modes. Can someone experienced step by step can explain. She has a handle and some other arrow under the handle, what can I do with it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Turn the knob CLOCKWISE to the desired program, then press on it - the machine turns on. After completing the stage of the program, when you need to pour water, the handle rises automatically, after filling it with water you need to press it again.

In Moscow, a slightly modified Eurikon car is being produced with the same components, spare parts, and so on in MAI at the Aviamatika firm near Hydroproject. Volokolamskoe shosse, building 4 (it seems, building 23, when you call the company, look at the map for the corner building). Metro Voykovskoe, last. the carriage from the center, in the underpass, turn right, and when going up, turn left, go forward along Volokoly. highway, cross the railroad. the road across the Victory Bridge, on the right is the corner building. 8-499-158-43-89, 8-495-734-93-48, -916-676-99-50. To the right of the bridge is 4 checkpoint MAI, call the local phone 43-89 there. The old Eureka car is also being repaired (with a visit to the house too), since all the units fit. Just call in advance and specify your modification of "Eureka". The repairman for this car told me that if the engine is running in the old car, it is better to repair the old car than to buy a new Eurekon. I can’t find instructions for using “Eureka-3M”, there is only a repair manual.

Eureka smashed the bathroom floor tiles during the spin cycle, but made a nice bathroom bench (the rest of the time). Probably its only useful quality.

Like automatic AGRs, semiautomatic devices have a number of typical breakdowns, which we will look into below - you will find out the causes of failures and ways to eliminate common problems.

Despite the fact that the market is full of modern automatic washing machines, semiautomatic devices have not yet been forgotten. They are happily bought up by summer residents and people living in private houses without running water.

A semi-automatic washing machine is considered simpler, but nevertheless, the list of possible breakdowns is impressive. This is provided by a specific design. If the semiautomatic clipper does not work, this can be due to a number of reasons.

Burnt contacts or broken wiring supplying the electric motor can cause a failure. The timer, thermal sensor or motor could break; capacitor or relay responsible for starting the engine. A breakdown of the transformer is not excluded.

And worn-out brushes are the cause of the motor breakdown of every second SM of a semi-automatic type.In this case, disassembly and repair of the motor is required, accompanied by the replacement of brushes.

If the CM with the centrifuge does not spin, but the engine is working, it is not a fact that this is a breakdown. You may have overloaded the tank with wet laundry. But there may also be a malfunction of the brake that blocks the drum.

The drum can also jam due to too much water or debris, small objects, and laundry getting into the tank. Then repairs are not needed - it is enough to disassemble the tank and remove the foreign body.

Possible reasons for such a failure of the SM brand "Slavda":

  • The laundry has gotten into a lump and lies on one side, because of which the rotor sways and hits the tank. This will block spinning and machine operation.
  • With long service life, the bushings could wear out. If they are broken, the rotor does not spin as expected - repair is required.
  • Drive belt slipped or broken. You need to put the assembly back or replace it.

Let's name 8 reasons for this failure:

  1. The tank is damaged and leaking.
  2. The fasteners are broken or stretched, the joints of the hoses with the centrifuge parts have weakened. Weak point - connecting hoses to a pump or tank.
  3. The diaphragm is out of order or its attachments are broken.
  4. The cuff on the drain valve is loose or torn.
  5. The casing of the drain pump is damaged.
  6. The water drain valve mechanism is broken.
  7. Damaged pipe or hose.
  8. The cover seals on the drain pump are damaged, so the pump is leaking water.

Reasons for the failure of the drain: blockage of the drain hose or pump. Do not exclude a breakdown of the impeller - with it, the water drain first slows down, and then disappears.

The machine can retain water for a long time also for mechanical reasons that are not breakdowns:

  • Laundry has accidentally fallen into the centrifuge drain hole.
  • The water drain hose is kinked or kinked.

If water "migrates" from the washing tub to the spinning container with a centrifuge, then the bypass hole is out of order. A more precise reason is the wear of the valve gum, due to which water is not retained in the drum. Repair is indispensable.

When the SM does not start, the reason must be looked for in an electrician - it may be a breakdown of the plug, power cord or relay. Often a failure occurs when the motor fails. Maintenance and repair of electrics, engine inspection is required.

Important! This is not a complete list of malfunctions of semi-automatic machines. But often the problems are superficial and are not breakdowns. Thus, the level sensor failure is eliminated by straightening the clamped drain hose.

The list of tools that will be useful to you when repairing the SM depends on the model and the breakdown, but in almost any failure you need the following:

  • pliers;
  • a set of plus and minus screwdrivers;
  • silicone sealant or "cold welding" (HS);
  • tester;
  • heads, open-end wrenches (6-24 mm);
  • round nose pliers.
  • capacitor;
  • suitable relay;
  • brushes;
  • drive belt;
  • transformer;
  • tanks - for washing and spinning;
  • clamps of a suitable diameter;
  • elements of the drain and filling system - hoses and pipes;
  • diaphragm;
  • "Trifle": cuff, sleeve, valve and so on.

Important! It is worth buying only the part that is needed in a particular case. First determine the breakdown, and then go for spare parts.

All breakdowns can be ordered in order to describe the procedure for correcting them. Let's start with the electrical component.

The diagram below is suitable for any semi-automatic washing machine (with or without rinsing and a centrifuge: "Eureka", "Saturn", "Siberia", "Assol", "Feya" or "Slavda"):

  • Check the integrity of the power cord.
  • Examine the plug and socket.
  • Look under the dashboard (disassembly is determined by your CM model).
  • Armed with a tester, check the contacts. If you find a wire break or low voltage, you will also find the cause of the failure.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repairImage - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Ring the relay and capacitors with a tester. If you find broken elements, replace them - they cannot be repaired.
  • Check the step-down transformer. If you find a problem, change it.
  • Check the contacts - they could burn out.
  • Only after checking all of the above components can you start checking the motor brushes. If you find traces of worn out brushes, replace them with new ones.

On a note. Read about how to disassemble the favorite model of summer residents in the article "How to disassemble the Baby washing machine."

If the water inlet does not work, we carry out repair work further:

  • Even before disassembling the case, you must manually check the hoses and their connections for leaks.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Next, disassemble the machine to gain access to the drain pump.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Remove the pump, clean it and reinstall it (check if the impeller is broken).
  • Check associated parts - diaphragm, gaskets and diaphragms. If you find defective parts, install new ones.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Remove the tank and inspect it for damage.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Once you find the holes, seal them with sealant or XC. Let the product dry, and then reassemble the washer.

The problems of moving elements in "Slavda" (or another brand) are solved as follows:

  • Check the drum - it must not come into contact with the brake. If this happens, it is difficult for the drum to spin, this blocks its revolution.
  • Take out the drum to inspect the tank - there may be blockages in it.
  • Inspect bushings - replace parts if worn out.
    Image - Do-it-yourself eureka washing machine repair
  • Check the condition of the drive belt. Its tension must be as high as possible in order to transfer engine speed to the drum. If damaged, do not try to glue the belt, only replacement is relevant here.

If at first glance a semiautomatic machine is arranged simply, then in practice you will understand that its repair requires knowledge and experience. By following the instructions, you will be able to fix the washer yourself. And if you are not confident in your abilities, it is better to contact a good master.

For some reason, our industry prefers polymers as a material for driving pulleys of household units: polyethylene, nylon, etc. Under the influence of high temperatures arising from the friction of the belt along the pulley groove, this material softens and the pulley breaks down.

The drive pulley in Eureka washing machines, mounted on the motor shaft, is made of polymer. When the machine is operating in the reverse mode of the main wash, and especially the spin cycle, the belt melts a groove in it and falls off. Car is not working. It happened to me two months after the purchase.

To repair the car, you will have to remove the electric motor along with the pulley. The melted pulley is welded to the shaft tightly and it is impossible to remove it. And this is not required. Prepare several strips of fiberglass across the width of the melted groove and dilute a small amount of epoxy glue or putty. Lubricate the bottom of the groove with epoxy glue and, while turning the motor shaft by hand, wind the strips of fiberglass until no more resin seeps between the threads. It is necessary to coat with epoxy and wind the fiberglass onto the pulley until the groove of the pulley is completely filled. After 6-7 hours, when the glue or putty hardens, you can start forming new grooves. An ordinary metal hacksaw is suitable for this purpose.

Connect the engine to the electrical circuit of the washing machine and turn it on. Press the hacksaw blade against the rotating drum, as shown in the figure, and saw several grooves to a depth of 12 mm. Then, without turning off the engine, shape and file the edges of the grooves. In this case, you must use a cardboard template. Such a pulley will last for many more years.

The proposed method is applicable for repairing and even manufacturing practically any pulleys without a lathe. Only when manufacturing on the motor shaft it is necessary to tightly put on two cardboard washers, the outer diameter of which is equal to the diameter of the pulley, and the diameter of the holes in them corresponds to the diameter of the motor shaft. The distance between the washers is equal to the thickness of the produced pulley.

Eureka smashed the bathroom floor tiles during the spin cycle, but made a nice bathroom bench (the rest of the time). Probably its only useful quality.

Although automatic washing machines are now in greater demand, their younger brothers do not lag behind them in their popularity. This applies to the semi-automatic devices of the "Eureka" company.

They can be used everywhere, be it a summer cottage, a vegetable garden with a house, an apartment, an office, or a cost-effective laundry. It will be useful for every consumer to know about the functionality, additional capabilities of the Eureka semiautomatic device.

Why are these models really good, let's try to find out.

  • They have a smaller size with kilograms.
  • Top-loaded linen.
  • Manual installation of some operations.
  • To be controlled during the washing process.
  • With simple controls.
  • An ideal budget option for a large family.
  • They are practical.That is, if you have purchased Eureka for two tanks, then you can immediately start washing and spinning things.

Ideal budget option

Due to its specific dimensions, the Eureka semiautomatic washing machine will be able to carry out the entire washing process in a short period of time. Compared to a vending machine, if things are not very dirty, then it takes about 10 minutes to create an initial shine for them. On the machine, the whole procedure will take about half an hour.

Note! The biggest advantage of such units is, of course, their great reliability. Thanks to this, Eureka has a pretty good work experience.

All instructions for the Eureka semiautomatic device will allow us to analyze all the additional advantages and capabilities of Eureka machine models.

  • They have the ability to use any detergent for washing clothes. Whether it is an automatic or a semi-automatic.
  • You can add laundry during use.
  • Saving water resources is included in the program of all models.
  • Formation of software and combination of all operations.
  • An additional vibration sensor is installed. For better and smoother spinning.
  • There are programs for gentle and intensive washing.
  • Laundry is faster than washing machines.

Convenient vertical loading

Of course, washing machines Eureka 3m, 86, 92 and other models have their significant disadvantages.

  • If necessary, you have to add water so that there is enough for the entire rinsing of the laundry.
  • Some washing machines have only the option to wash, all others are done by hand.
  • Care should be taken when washing equipment.
  • Minimum load weight.
  • To purify water, you need to buy an additional filter.

When buying a product, make sure that you have instructions for the Eureka washing machine. It will also provide an opportunity to study all the functionality of the machine. Well, if you bought a model from your hands, then it doesn't matter, here we will help you.

The Eureka semiautomatic washing machine is designed for washing laundry on various fabrics. Thanks to the available automation, it can fill and drain water using all the operations. Also, many functions are applicable to it, such as with the introduction of detergents, by heating a predetermined temperature regime, washing with rinsing and spinning the laundry is performed.

All laundry in the Eureka semiautomatic device can be washed in 50-160 minutes. The machine has a removable filter that requires timely cleaning. This is done so that there is no difficulty in collecting the electrical cord. The models have a special niche with an accomplishment for storing things. The photo shows where it is located. Near it, there are nozzles that provide clean water supply. They also provide the entire drainage process of water from the machine.

Washing machine Eureka 507

The device also contains the following elements.

  • It has its own control unit.
  • The presence of a spiral tank.
  • Dismountable stainless steel case, decorative coating on the surface.
  • The pump is used to drain.

The top panel has a control unit.

  • With a mode switch.
  • With an indicator for the level of water filling.
  • With an information panel.
  • And with a time relay.

So, the organization of the entire process of washing linen is as follows. To begin with, it would be best to sort the laundry by color, fabric texture, and degree of soiling. It is better to soak the laundry before washing. It is necessary to load the selected detergent with the correct dosage according to the instructions. The soaked laundry is loaded into the semiautomatic device. The time interval for washing is set after connecting to the power supply. Then the washed set of linen is transferred to an additional tank for subsequent spinning. That's the whole washing process.

So, so that the engine of the machine does not junk, forget about repairs for a long time, try to follow the instructions.In this case, the Eureka semiautomatic washing machine will be able to serve you for a long time, where you can completely forget about engine repairs and other parts.

Eureka k-507 will be a good helper. It has many functions and is durable. Unlike its younger brothers, the K-507 has mechanical control. As most reviews of Eureka washing machines say, it has only positive aspects. All disadvantages are reduced to naught. All models have a long service life, where the device circuit breaks down very rarely.

Despite the fact that automatic washing machines have firmly entered our life, semi-automatic units are not going to give up their positions yet. They are used in apartments with small bathrooms, as well as in summer cottages and in rural areas where there is no way to connect automatic equipment. In this article, we will look at how convenient, efficient and economical the Eureka semi-automatic washing machine can be.

Unlike machines-"automatic", the washing machine-semi-automatic "Eureka" has the following features:

  • Loading of linen is exclusively vertical.
  • Fewer wash modes.
  • The need to perform some of the operations manually.
  • The need for control over the washing process by the hostess.
  • Light weight.
  • Smaller dimensions in comparison with the “automatic”.
  • Simple controls.
  • Shorter washing times. For example, freshening up lightly soiled items takes only 5 minutes. For comparison - washing in an automatic washing machine on a “fast” mode will take half an hour.
  • Great reliability - this technique rarely fails, since in fact there is nothing to break in it.
  • Lower price.
  • For devices with two tanks - the possibility of simultaneous washing and spinning in different tanks ..
  1. Saving water and energy.
  2. Ease of operation. If you need to wash your laundry quickly, the semi-automatic machine will do the job perfectly.
  3. Possibility of using any washing powder: for manual and automatic washing.
  4. Ability to add forgotten laundry at any time.
  5. Save water and detergent by washing colored and heavily soiled items in the same water where white or less soiled items were washed.
  6. Low cost.
  7. Less wear and tear on linen.
  8. Compact dimensions.

Important! The Eureka washing machine helps out perfectly in homes without a centralized water supply. Therefore, semi-automatic CMs are so popular in rural areas and country houses.

The semiautomatic machine also has disadvantages. They are as follows:

  • The need to fill in rinsing water.
  • Models without a spin function are only intended for washing laundry. You have to manually wring out the washed items.
  • Low washing efficiency.
  • The semiautomatic machine cannot be left for a long time, since the washing process also involves manual manipulations: draining water, removing things, spinning, etc.
  • Inconvenience arising if it is impossible to heat the water.
  • Due to vertical loading, different items cannot be stored on the washing machine, which is a rather tangible disadvantage for a small bathroom.
  • Minimum loading weight. Automatic type machines are designed for a large load of dry laundry.
  • The need to purchase additional filters for water purification.

Important! Washing machine "Eureka" has a limited area of use. Some items made from delicate materials cannot be machine washed.

Semi-automatic washing machine "Eureka" consists of the following units: body, washing tank and control unit.

In more detail, it differs in the following device:

  • The body of the washing machine is collapsible, has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, front and back walls, sidewalls, base and top panel.Made of decorative coated stainless steel sheets.
  • The machine is equipped with a pump that serves to drain and pump water. There is a removable filter that must be periodically cleaned of contamination.
  • The electrical cord is hidden in a special niche located on the back of the device.
  • There are also fittings through which, with the help of hoses, clean water is supplied to the machine and the spent soap solution is drained.
  • The control box is located on the top of the machine. It includes a time switch, a water level indicator, a mode switch and an information panel.

It will take some time to put things in order with the Eureka semiautomatic washing machine. Allocate for this, for example, half of the day off. Here is the sequence of actions:

  1. Sort laundry according to color, texture and degree of soiling.
  2. It is advisable to soak things the day before.
  3. Heat up enough water to fill the tank.
  4. Add the selected detergent according to the instructions.
  5. Load the laundry into the machine.
  6. Connect the CM to the mains.
  7. Set the timer to the required time.
  8. At the end of the wash, transfer the laundry to the second tub and turn on the spin mode.
  • The weight of the loaded linen is 3 kg.
  • Modes: normal, gentle wash. There are also 4 modes for rinsing, including an additional rinse.
  • The amount of water required for 1 wash is 39 liters.
  • Energy class - A.
  • Washing efficiency class - B.
  • Spin class - D.

Important! Main advantages: ease of use, no need to connect to a water supply, low cost.

The main disadvantage: large mass (70 kg) with compact dimensions, which creates certain inconveniences during transportation.

Consumer reviews boil down to something like this. Of course, the Eureka semi-automatic washing machine is not an automatic machine where the machine takes over the entire washing cycle. The quality of the washing is not bad, but, as is the case with all "semi-automatic" machines, washing requires the participation of the hostess. As a budget option for a summer residence, "more than" is suitable.

There are some remarks regarding the operation:

  • The unit has no protection against increased foaming. If you overdo it with the powder, then the whole bathroom will be in foam.
  • When spinning, it is important to evenly distribute things in the tank, otherwise the vibration will be very strong.
  • The disadvantage is the rigid mounting of the tank. In the process of washing, the machine jumps, “like Baba Yaga in a mortar”.
  • Neighbors may be unhappy with increased noise. But in general, since a regular wash takes much less time, you will not bother them or yourself much.

Important! However, all these shortcomings are covered by the fact that the car is very reliable, from the category of "unkillable".

So, the Eureka washing machine justifies itself in many situations. It is significantly cheaper than automatic machines, and the quality of washing is quite “up to the mark”. The presence of a plumbing is not at all necessary. Water from a well or well, naturally purified using a special filter, will do.

Despite the fact that automatic washing machines have firmly entered our life, semi-automatic units are not going to give up their positions yet.They are used in apartments with small bathrooms, as well as in summer cottages and in rural areas where there is no way to connect automatic equipment.

  • The body of the washing machine is collapsible, has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, front and back walls, sidewalls, base and top panel. Made of decorative coated stainless steel sheets.

  1. Hello Peter. I have a SMP-2 "Eureka", the date of issue is June 1972, s.n. 16424, price 140 rubles. , at work for 48 years. those. unkillable, there is also a completely new unconnected LG, but it is in reserve, a preference for the familiar “Eureka”.
    What I had to change in the design:
    1. The lower covers of the C1-C3 capacitor blocks are made with collars,
    when water gets into them, the condensers rot out, they shorten and my electric drive burned out. pump. I had to change email. dv. and capacitors. In the collars of the bottom cover in each section of the condensers, it was necessary to make 2 holes. Ф 6 mm, right and left, for draining water.
    2. The foundation of the pump and the engine was made of PCB B = 11mm., The pump was fixed on a square made of duralumin B = 1.5 mm, the clamps were transferred from the old foundation, which had crumbled t, to, it was made of polystyrene, very fragile. I installed the two rear bolts of the foundation with the possibility of unscrewing the nuts from the bottom, removing the standard fixed nuts, and putting my own. Now, to remove the pump foundation and el. dv. no need to disassemble the floor of the car, remove the tank, etc. I sawed the pump shaft on a drill and polished it. it rusted, the gap between the shaft and the holes in the covers was eliminated by a roll of copper foil. Now the pump filter cover, I remove it after washing, for airing.
    3.It is advisable to replace all polystyrene parts with glass-filled polyamide, which is much stronger.
    4. Replaced all rubber hoses with glass fiber reinforced plastic.
    5. Painted all metal parts inside and out with silver on linseed oil, it is much more durable than enamel coating.
