Before that, we dismantle the air filter housing and the intake resonator, for which we unscrew three M6 bolts, disconnect the inlet pipe and remove the block from the temperature sensor connector on the filter housing (available only on 0.8 liter engines).If there is a power steering, the pipe of the pressure line will interfere with removing the radiator, so we release the nut of its fastening on the pump (key "16") and, having fed the pipe to the engine, we fix it in this position (do not forget to return it later!). Then we look for a wide vessel with sides no higher than 140 mm (otherwise it will not fit under the car). We will drain the old liquid into this container, taking care not to smear it - ethylene glycol, which is part of antifreeze, is poisonous! It remains only to remove the lower hose from the plastic adapter pipe on the engine, squeezing the tendrils of the plate clamp with pliers and, in fact, release the liquid.If it poured out knows what - red, with a rotten smell - we rinse the system. To do this, we collect everything again, fill in water (preferably distilled) and let the engine run for 5-7 minutes after opening the thermostat, which can be judged by the heating of the lower pipe. The sequence of actions is like on "frets", with the only difference that there are anti-squeak plates in the bracket, which it is important not to lose when cleaning the mechanism from wear products.Replacing brake discs is not laborious, but, alas, a costly operation: you need to remove the hub (the disc is attached from the inside), and its "disposable" bearings are inevitably damaged and the oil seals are deformed. The rear drums are integrated with the hubs into a single whole, but the bearing assemblies are not destroyed here during dismantling. However, after removing the split pin and unscrewing the central nut, we remove the drum-hub carefully so as not to drop the bearings - sand baths are not good for them. In practice, this unit will often have to "visit" not to replace the pads (they often live up to 90 thousand km), but to clean and lubricate the ratchet mechanism for automatically maintaining the gap, which tends to acidify. Before assembling, we turn the ratchet so that the pads lightly touch the drum, and only after that we adjust the tension of the handbrake cables (in the cabin, under the floor tunnel lining). As you can see, there is nothing super complicated in servicing the Matiz on your own: with such a dense layout, it could be worse.
