In general, all costs for tools, books, spare parts amounted to about 11,000 rubles.
The cost of a "murzilka" and a set of tools, I think, will pay off after two such procedures.
Instead of belt rollers, auxiliary equipment, you can take only bearings and repress them - it will be 2 times cheaper. Now I have the old videos on my hands - another time I will try to do so. You could also save money on the accessory belt tensioner. It is said that a good tensioning belt runs down the center of the roller. My belt runs along the edge on the new one, on the old one. We take out the ball joints on both sides and remove both outer CV joints from the hubs.
Further, for the convenience of replacing the clutch, we remove the protective covers from both wheels.
On the right side, we remove the drive by simply pulling it out of its seat, here it comes out easily.
Before removing the left-hand drive, you must remove the engine protection and drain the oil from the box.
Then you need to remove the bumper protectors, they are located below, in the corners of the bumper. They are fastened with two clips and three self-tapping screws on each protection.
Unscrew the lower part of the bumper, which is attached to the subframe, using the T30 Thorax key.
We unscrew the exhaust pipe with a head (by 10).
After unscrewing it is necessary to unfasten the oxygen sensor (Lambda probe) from the connector.
Next, remove the second oxygen sensor installed after the catalyst.
We remove two or three rubber bands of the muffler on which the muffler hangs, take it to the side so that it does not interfere with us when replacing it.
We hang the muffler by the wire in the bottom of the car.

Further, if you have a car with power steering, then you need to unscrew the power steering tube fastening to the subframe, this is done using a key (10).
The steering rack is attached to the subframe from above with two bolts. We wrap them with a key (by 18).
We unscrew the bracket for the rear engine mount, but not all. First, let go of the rear bolt of the support, it is not necessary to completely unscrew it, and then we unscrew the front bolt from the cushion itself and remove the bracket from the slot of the rear bolt. The support remains on the subframe.

Pay attention to the cooling radiator. Its attachments are different. Until 2008, the radiator was attached to the body with side brackets. And after 2008, the radiator began to be installed on vertical pins that go into the subframe.

So if you have a car made after 2008, then it will need to be tied to the bonnet lock panel so that it does not fall out when the subframe is removed. They tie it up with wire or strong rope for the radiator diffuser. It is necessary to tie up at two points, on the right and left. Otherwise, it will sag one end down.

It was the turn of the stretcher. We tighten the four bolts with a wrench (17), the bolts are located at the corners of the subframe. The rear of the subframe is attached to the body with the same bolts as the stabilizer bushings. At the same time, you can check the condition of these bushings, and, if necessary, replace them.

After removing the subframe, drain the oil from the box and dismantle the left-hand drive. The Reno Logan drive, in contrast to the VAZ models, is installed by attaching the boot with three bolts (13) to the box.

The process of removing the gearbox will begin for easy clutch replacement. Therefore, I give a photo with the designations of the parts needed when dismantling the box:

After removing the left drive, next to it, slightly to the left, is the reverse sensor (item 15 in Figure 4).
Then, to the left of the rear cover of the gearbox, we find two bolts for fastening the wires of the "mass" (Fig. 6), unscrew them and take them to the side so that they do not interfere in the future.
Next, unfasten the engine compartment harness from the holder (Fig. 4, item 14).
The power steering hose must be brought up and tied up there so that it does not fall and interfere with work.
Remove the clutch cable by first removing its end from the clutch fork (Fig. 4, item 1), and then removing the shell from its bracket (Fig. 4, item 15).
The turn came and up to four bolts shown in Fig. 5.
Disconnect the connector from the speed sensor (Fig. 4, pos. 11), it can be removed easily, you need to click on the checkbox and pull the connector up.
Next, you need to loosen the clamp with a key (13), which secures the control rod of the gearbox to its lever (Fig. 4, item 10).

An important point when replacing the clutch of a Renault Logan car! Before removing the rod, it is necessary in any convenient way (for example, paint) to mark the relative position of the rod and the lever, so as not to disrupt their adjustment in the future. We now have the opportunity to unscrew the two bolts of the starter, since the bolts of its fastening also hold the box. There is one more starter bolt, but we will remove it later.

The next step in replacing the clutch is to remove the connector from the crankshaft position sensor. If you cannot remove the connector, you can simply unscrew the two bolts securing it to the clutch housing and remove it entirely. A picture of this connector is shown below in Figure 7.

Only then did the comrade use thick steel wire instead of a hairpin. Having passed one end of it through the eyebolt and screwed it over the beam to the desired length. This option is simpler and cheaper to perform, since you do not need to look for a hairpin, weld a hook to it.

Here you go! We hung the engine, then we have to remove the left engine support ... Between the side of the power steering and the side of the main brake cylinder from above, you can see deep below the three bolts of the bracket on the left engine support. Using an extension cord and a head (16), unscrew these three bolts.

At this stage of replacing the clutch of Renault Logan cars with a manual transmission, it is necessary to slightly lower the engine by unscrewing the pin on the cross member installed earlier. It is necessary to lower it as long as the right support allows it, but at the same time it is necessary to ensure that the rubber cushion built into the support does not break. We got access to the two upper bolts of the clutch housing (Fig. 4, item 13) and the breather.

We remove the breather and see that we can also unscrew the third starter bolt now. We unscrew all these three bolts. Our mechanical box remained secured by two studs with nuts.When viewed from the rear transmission cover, one nut is on the left, below the clutch fork.

Having asked the assistant to hold the box, unscrew these two nuts from the studs, remove and carefully lower them to the floor. In this case, considerable efforts must be made, since the box is heavy and you need to swing it a little to remove it from the studs.

How to remove the box, first of all, you need to check the release bearing. We push the clutch fork and see how easily the clutch release goes along its steering axis. Then we look at how the release bearing rotates, if it is noisy or uneven, then it should be replaced.

Next, with a socket head (11), remove the clutch basket together with the disc and check their condition. If the petals of the basket are uneven or severely worn, then the basket must be replaced. Examining the condition of the clutch disc.

I do it like this: I take the disc with both hands and shake it strongly, if the springs in the disc are loose, then it must be replaced. It must also be replaced if the rivets are recessed into the friction lining by less than 0.2 mm, or the lining itself is cracked or heavily oiled.

Next, we look at the wear in the places of friction between the flywheel and basket. There should be no deep scratches, scuffing, and wear should be small and even throughout the entire circle. Before installing a new clutch kit, it is advisable to degrease the flywheel where it touches the disc. When buying a clutch kit to replace a Renault Logan, it is important that it includes a guide for installation, it is shown in the photo below.

When installing the clutch, the disc must be placed with the protruding part towards the basket. We install the disc and the basket on the flywheel, insert the guide sleeve shown in the photo above to the stop in the center of the basket. This is necessary to center the position of the disc and basket on the flywheel. First, we attach all the bolts of the basket, and only then gradually tighten them to a force of 12 N ∙ m. Well, after replacing the clutch, we put the gearbox back. All this is done in the reverse order of removal.

After installing the gearbox, we connect all the connectors and install the clutch release cable in place. We adjust its tension using the nuts at the end where it is attached to the clutch fork. We also connect all the rods and tubes to their places. Reinstall the removed engine mounts. We loosen the beam pin for which the engine was suspended.

When installing the gearbox control rod on its lever, do not forget that you marked their relative position with paint. They should be installed according to these marks. Otherwise, you will have to additionally deal with the adjustment of the gearshift.

Then you can install both drives, ball joints and wheels in place. Remember to fill the transmission with oil and you can start the car for a test drive. Make sure that the car runs smoothly, that gear changes are easy, and that there is no extraneous noise.
