For the manufacture of the Baksi combustion chamber, the manufacturer uses metal. Outside, it is covered with a layer of heat insulator. Above it is a heat exchanger made of copper. When the room temperature changes, the thermostat starts. Note that the launch is carried out in automatic mode. From it, the turn-on signal is transmitted to the pump. After this, ignition occurs, and then the water is heated up again.
If already at the beginning of the boiler's operation its power is quite high, then the burner is turned off in automatic mode.After three minutes, the system can be restarted.
If there is no need for heating the room, then the boiler is turned on in the DHW mode. In this case, cold water flows into the secondary circuit through a three-way valve, through which the heating line is shut off. PThe fuel is supplied to the burner by means of a gas valve, which leads to a gradual increase in the boiler output. After the end of water heating, the temperature control mode is activated.
If the Baksi boiler stopped working normally, then you can carry out repairs on your own, without asking for help from specialists. But troubleshooting is possible only if the breakdown is small and easily removable. If you have never encountered the repair of boilers, then in this case you should not risk it - contact the master immediately.
the boiler burner does not turn on or goes out;

Reasons for the breakdown of Baksi boilers:
moisture has entered the boiler;
the quality of the heat carrier used is low;
the gas pressure has dropped in the gas pipeline or a drop has occurred;

The burner flame does not reach its maximum power during boiler operation
This malfunction of the gas boiler may occur due to an incorrect setting of the pressure in the heating system. Also, such a breakdown may appear with a faulty gas valve modulator. Another reason for its occurrence is the breakdown of the diode bridge.
Remedy: it is necessary to adjust the system parameters using the boiler operating instructions.
The boiler starts up but stops working immediately
This malfunction of the gas boiler can occur due to low pressure in the gas pipeline.
Remedy: it is necessary to adjust the gas pressure down to 5 mbar.
Weak heating of the coolant in the heating system
Remedy: Perform a pressure test on the gas valve. Chances are high that min and max have failed.
Modulation mode does not work
To correct the problem, a valve change should be performed.
Temperature sensor values become inaccurate
To eliminate this problem, replace the old sensor with a new one.
Weak heating in the hot water system
The cause of this malfunction may be an incomplete opening of the three-way valve. In some cases, its appearance is associated with a breakdown of such a valve. To establish exactly what the cause of the malfunction lies precisely in the valve, it is necessary to wait a while until the system cools down. Then the shut-off valves of the heating system will need to be closed. When this is done, the boiler should be turned on in hot water supply mode. Valve failure will be confirmed by heating in the heating system.
When the installation is fired up, "pops" are heard
Noise can appear for several reasons:
Insufficient gas pressure;
Changed distance from the gas supply to the igniter due to inaccurate transportation of the Baksi boiler.
To eliminate this problem, you need to adjust the size of the gap. It should be set within 4–5 mm.
How to adjust the gap between the burner and the pilot
To make the correct adjustment on the Baksi gas boiler, you must open the front panel and completely remove it from the boiler. After that, it is necessary to remove the damper from the inspection hole of the installation. Behind it you can find an igniter.To change the size of the gap, unscrew the screw by means of which the igniter electrode is attached to the boiler. Then it is removed, and then it is carefully folded over. Then you need to install it in its original place, and then close the damper.
The coolant temperature in the circuit has dropped sharply
The main cause of this problem is clogged filters. They must be removed and cleaned. In some cases, they may need to be replaced. Damage to radiators or pipes may also be the cause. If these heating systems are frozen or clogged, then repair is necessary. The area where the defect was found should be cleaned or replaced.
How to clean the primary heat exchanger with your own hands
The first step is to drain the water from the installation. To do this, unscrew the tap on the boiler on the right. If possible, the water should be drained from the heating system. For the cleaning procedure, you should use a device called Jelly. The pipes of the device should be connected to the heating pipes of the Baksi boiler.... Then you need to unscrew the lid on the device, and then pour in a special liquid intended for cleaning. Then the device is connected to the mains.
For several hours on the device, we switch the direction of the flushing liquid in manual mode. When two hours have passed, the device must be turned off. Next, unscrew the tap to drain the water. Then you need to remove the hoses. But before that you need to make sure that the liquid is glass back into the device... Next, we connect the boiler to the system. After that, it must be filled with a coolant. After cleaning the boiler, its parts must be descaled. And this will exclude clogging of the system and its failure.
DIY cleaning of the secondary heat exchanger (heating circuit)
In order to clean the secondary heat exchanger, we also use a flushing device. It must be connected to the boiler, and then turn on the installation. The gas cock must be turned to the closed position, and the hot water cock must be opened. After that, you must turn off the device for cleaning. Further, the liquid will circulate along a short circuit.
Before installing the boiler, you need to consult a specialist. You should also contact him in the case when the boiler needs repairs. Baksi gas equipment, like any other, has its own ultimate strength, therefore, at a certain moment, boiler repair will be required.
Error codes that may occur during the operation of Baksi gas boilers can be divided into two groups:
complete blocking of equipment operation;
switching the device to standby mode.
In case of complete blocking of the installation, it will be necessary to restart the boiler in manual mode. The blocking is activated in the event of serious malfunctions in the operation of the boiler, which can pose a serious danger to human health. Failures, in the event of which the boiler is blocked, can be attributed to overheating of the equipment, and besides it, the lack of traction. Blocking occurs even in the absence of gas supply. Self-elimination of the error is carried out in rare cases. If this happens, the device starts up in automatic mode.
This mistake is the most common one. When the flame sensor is triggered, this code is displayed. Several reasons can lead to its appearance:
no gas supply;
there is no correspondence between phase and zero; this reason is relevant for phase-dependent models;
no contact with the flame sensor;
the sensor is dirty or defective;
the ignition system malfunctions;
the gas valve is faulty or the electronic board is out of order;
air access is insufficient for normal combustion;
the gas pressure in the system is insufficient.
If this code is displayed on the display, then the first thing to do is to check if the sensor is connected correctly. It is also worth checking the gas supply. If everything is normal, then in this case you can press R. It should be held for 3 seconds.
If accidentally triggered, the equipment will continue to operate normally. If the error continues to appear, then in this case you should contact a specialist... Note that this error is due to an electronics problem. If you try to solve the problem on your own, then everything can end in disaster for the gas equipment.
Another common mistake is E10. The main reason for its occurrence is sensors that monitor the operation of pumps and monitor the circulation of water. This error can be displayed on the installation display in the following cases:
the pressure of the coolant has decreased in the system;
contact between the board and the pressure switch has disappeared;
the pressure switch is defective;
the pump operation sensor has become faulty;
there are malfunctions in the pump;
clogging of the heat exchanger.
When this error occurs, you do not need to try to fix it on your own. Self-repair is acceptableif pump replacement is required. It will not be difficult to hold this event. You can also clean the filters without assistance. All other work related to the repair of the Baksi boiler should be performed by an experienced specialist.
Urgent repair by a qualified specialist is required if errors E96, E97, E98 are displayed on the gas boiler display. If they occur, it is unacceptable for the owner of the equipment to interfere with the operation of the boiler. The prohibition on intervention with these errors is due to the fact that these three codes appear in the event that the electronic board has become faulty.
