With an increase in free travel of more than 30 mm, it is necessary:

a) Place the rear axle of the tractor on the support.

b) Remove the right rear wheel.

c) Unscrew the nut securing the brake pedal on the brake shaft.

d) Remove the pedal from the brake shaft, having previously marked their joint position.

e) Move the pedal on the shaft one slot counterclockwise.

f) Check the pedal free play.

g) Assemble in reverse order.

To increase the free play, move the brake pedal one spline clockwise relative to the initial position.

8.3 Adjusting the steering of tractors Belarus-112N and Belarus-132N

8.3.1 Adjusting the steering link

a) Loosen the lock nut 2 of the tie rod 1 (Figure 10).

b) Changing the length of rod 1, adjust the steering so that when the tractor is moving in a straight line, the position of the bipod (not shown in Figure 11) is vertical.

8.3.2 Adjusting the engagement of the roller with the steering worm

Adjustments can be made without removing the steering gear from the tractor. For this:

a) Place the steering wheel exactly in the middle (in the position corresponding to driving in a straight line).

b) Disconnect the steering rod 1 from the bipod (Figure 10).

c) Unscrew the cap nut 8 (Figure 11) and remove the lock washer

d) Turning the adjusting screw 7 clockwise, eliminate the meshing gap.

e) Put on the lock washer 6. If the hole in the washer does not line up with the pin, turn the adjusting screw so that the hole aligns with the pin.

f) Screw the cap nut onto the adjusting screw and, swinging the steering arm by hand, check for a gap in the engagement.

g) Check the effort required to turn the steering wheel.The steering wheel must be free to turn from the middle position, corresponding to movement in a straight line, with a force equal to 9 - 16 N applied to the steering wheel.

8.4 Replacement of the filter element of the oil tank of the hydraulic system of the Belarus-112N and Belarus-132N tractors

To replace the filter element 5 (Figure 12), it is necessary to dismantle the complete filter from the oil tank, for which:

a) Unfold the engine cover.

b) Remove dirt and dust from the filter cover.

c) Unscrew the bolts securing the filter to the oil tank flange and remove the filter assembly.

d) Unscrew the bolts 6 securing the filter cover.

e) Remove cover 1, take out spring 3, valve 2, O-ring 4, filter 5.

f) Wash the filter parts in diesel fuel and assemble the filter with a new filter element by repeating operations e), d) in reverse order.

g) Install the assembled filter into the tank in the reverse order of disassembly.

8.5 Adjustment of headlights of tractors Belarus-112Н and Belarus-132Н

Adjust the headlights in the following order:

a) Mark the screen as shown in Figure 13. In this case, mark the lines of the centers of the headlights А-А on the screen at a distance equal to the height of the centers of the headlights above the floor level, and lines В-В1 and Г-Г1 at the distance of the dimension between the centers of the headlights horizontally. The fuel injection system of the engines is of the carburetor type.
