And in combination with an alloying addition in the form of silicon (C), it determines the sufficient strength characteristics of the material. These grades of steel were developed as a multi-purpose structural material and it should not be difficult to find it for the manufacture of parts.
The part drawing must contain all details of the required tolerances and treatments that will ensure long-term performance of the assembly, taking into account the performance of purchased items, including seals and bearings. The best way to avoid mistakes is to coordinate the drawing with an experienced designer.

Please note that the length of the cable must be such that the "cartridge" can fall down and rise up completely freely.
Auger installation uses a drill as an operating mechanism. An ordinary metal pipe is also quite suitable for its manufacture. Make a screw thread on the top of the pipe, and a screw-type auger on the bottom (the most convenient drill length is about 2 m).
Advice. 2-3 turns on the drill will be enough to create a water well of medium depth.
A pair of knives must be attached to the ends of the drill using a welding machine: they must be positioned so that during the drilling process they plunge into the soil at a certain angle.
To make the structure easy to use, weld a part of a metal pipe (about 1.5-2 m long) to the tee. The tee itself must be equipped with a screw thread inside.
Separately, it should be said about the swivel, which is used in drilling rigs as a compensator for the opposition of the moving part of the rig (drill) and the fixed part that supplies water.The device of this part is quite simple: a pair of flanges, partitions with rubber sealing rings, the body itself (made from a piece of metal pipe) and a metal bar.
It should be noted that you can make this part yourself only if you have turning experience and the ability to make technical drawings.
So, the working mechanism of the drilling rig is ready, now you can proceed directly to the assembly of the entire structure. Please note that you will need some tools for work: an electric drill, a grinder, a welding machine, as well as a galvanized pipe, a squeegee and a plumbing cross. Consider the process of assembling a structure step by step:
Preparing pipe sections to create the base of the drilling rig. They will need to be fastened to the squeegee and cross. At the ends of the pipe sections, cut the threads a couple of centimeters deep.
Weld pre-sharpened metal plates to the ends of the metal segments (such an installation will allow a continuous supply of water).
To supply water to the installation, connect a pump hose to one of the cross sections.

Base for mounting in the form of a frame;

The scheme is implemented in the following way:
First, a collapsible bed is assembled. In a separate order, the parts of the percussion chuck and the thief are connected in order to remove the soil.
To make the soil loosening more productive, the jagged protrusions at the bottom of the glass are used. In the upper part it is necessary to make holes for fastening the rope.
The thief is necessary for cleaning the face. It can be homemade.

All parts, the rack and the support are connected by welding, after which the electric motor and the platform are fixed, which will simultaneously move along the tunnel of the iron constructor. If it is decided that a hydraulic piling machine will be used for drilling, you can make a hydraulic gearbox yourself.
The swivel provides the rotary motion that keeps the drill running.

Since the device is subject to rapid wear, materials with resistance to mechanical and abrasion should be used for the housing.
