Then, as we got to the engine, we gradually pull out the wires, inspect them for charred wires.
After that, if everything is fine, you need to fill the engine with non-toxic oil and assemble the unit in the same order as it was disassembled.

Glycerin is suitable for these cases, it does not pollute the water. And after that, disassembled, it is very easy to fix the pump malfunction with your own hands. A surface pump of the Jilex Jumbo type operates according to another principle of repair. It is much more difficult here, and you need to solve specifically the breakdown. If your pump is running out of trouble, then you definitely need to repair it, remove the case and check all the systems one by one.
Stages of work:
First, you need to disconnect the pump and accumulator from the 220 W electricity.
Then we drain the liquid that remains in the hose.
We remove the body by unscrewing the bolts.
It is imperative to remove all moving parts of the housing, and only then disassemble the pump chamber.
After that, remove the impeller and seals.
Pull out the engine carefully.
Now we look at the wires. And after that, if everything is fine, we assemble the pump in the same sequence as we took it apart.

The advantage of surface pumps is that their casing is not one-piece and can be removed in parts. Details in it are turned off and removed not sequentially, but this is a plus. For a country house, a failure of the water pump means a daily voyage with buckets to the well. The situation becomes more complicated if the water supply on the site is arranged around the well. The consequence of unqualified repairs can be oil contamination of the well, which can only be eliminated by specialists.
If there is a service center of the "Jilex" company nearby, of course, it is better to go there. But if there is no such possibility (the service center is far away, there is no time), you will have to repair the Vodomet pump with your own hands.
Borehole pumps "Vodomet", depending on the marking, have a different number of repeating stages. All internal parts can be divided into four types: impeller, bowl, bowl bottom and anti-friction washer. The first ones are made of white plastic. They are the same in size, outwardly resemble a mushroom - there is a leg and a cap.
The "glasses" are naturally cylinders made of black polyamide. One of them has a belt resting against a white plastic ring. It is inserted into the spur closer to the motor in the pump housing. It is very difficult to remove it.
The bottom of the "glass" is a disc made of the same material. There is a hole in its center. They are inserted into the "glass" so as to form a double bottom.
An anti-friction washer is put on the shaft between the "glass" and the impeller, which prevents friction of the parts. When disassembled, there are white and blue. The latter are slightly thinner.
It is also better to lay out all the parts of the pumping part in the order in which they were installed (in the photo along the arrow). This whole mechanism works as follows: the engine rotates in the "glasses" of the impeller between their own bottom and the removable bottom of the next. Several models of Vodomet pumps are suitable for wells: if the static water level is not more than five meters, then these are models 60/32 and 150/30, and if from five to twenty five, then 60/52 and 150/45.

Let us analyze the repair procedure using the example of the Vodomet 60/52 pump. We start by disassembling and removing all parts:
Unscrew the cover with water intake holes. If you have to clamp the body in a vice, you need to do this carefully, since it is hollow inside. It is better to put dense rubber on all sides;
We disassemble the pumping part (washers, "glasses" with a bottom, impeller and everything else). All parts removed from the shaft must be carefully laid out so that they can then be installed in the same order;
We take out the retaining ring (white plastic) and the engine from the outer "glass".For this, the pump is placed vertically on a table with a hole for the shaft. On the upper fitting cover, you do not need to hit very hard with a rubber mallet so that the engine slightly moves the ring out of place. Trying to pull it out through the thread is not worth it, it still won't work. Then put the pump horizontally, pull the cable a little and pull the motor back. Next, on one side, you need to rest against the white ring with a long screwdriver and hit it so that it moves a few degrees. We unfold it with our hands across the pipe and take it out of the case. Take out the engine in the same direction;
Remove the cover of the compartment in which the wires are located. It is held in place by two rubber bands. We put the engine on its side and carefully knock it out in a circle using a wide screwdriver and a rubber mallet.
Only non-toxic oil can be poured into the pump motor so as not to poison the water in the well in case of an accident. Typically, glycerin is used. For replacement, 0.5 liters is enough
Only bio-safe oil may be added to the engine. This is usually glycerin. It is strictly forbidden to use machine oils. In addition to the usual oil film, once it gets into the well, it can make the water unsuitable for further use.
The pump passport lists the main malfunctions, their causes and options for elimination. True, in most cases it is recommended to contact a service center. In addition to the breakdowns described in the accompanying documentation, experts name two more, which are most often found:
when turned on, the pump does not pump water, but its faint hum is audible;
the included "Water cannon" does not emit any sounds, but it beats with an electric current.
The first group of signs indicates that the covers between the steps and the impellers are completely worn out. The pump will not run. It needs to be disassembled and worn out impellers and covers should be replaced. In the second case, we are talking about a capacitor malfunction. It is most likely caused by water entering the condenser compartment through the cable inlet. The defective part must be replaced in any case.
