After purchasing and installing the yatour mp3 adapter, one problem was identified that was discussed more than once on many forums, including lexus. She has several solutions, and today I will tell you about one of them.

The fact is that the chayzer's head unit has such a problem that after connecting the yatour adapter, the radio, cassette, and even a disc begin to interrupt with a frequency of 8 seconds. This all continues until you unhook the connector from the changer. Attempts to turn on, turn off the radio itself or the ignition are useless. When you constantly listen to only a USB flash drive, it does not annoy, but if you want to switch to the radio, you have to go into the glove compartment and unscrew the connector for the changer.

In order to solve this problem, we need:

- Diagram of the radio cassette changer connector;

- Some free time.

1. According to the changer connector diagram, we find the plus of the power supply, which comes to the yatour itself (called acc) and remember the color of the wire (in my case, blue).

2. Next, we outline the place where we will put the switch and open the wire.

3. We find this wire, cut it, clean it and solder it to the switch.

4. We check the performance and put everything back.

This method is good for those who have installed the changer in the bar. If you have it in the glove compartment, then you can make a separate button in the plug or somewhere else, simply by lengthening the wire.

Yatour yt-m06. Everything plays, reads folders, BUT the sound is quieter than radio and CD.

As far as I understand, the sound from yatour to RD4 is transmitted not analog, but digital. And therefore, you need to not solder something, but poke around in the firmware or configuration files. Somewhere here on the forum I read a description of a similar model, the owner wrote that you can create a text file in which to describe the necessary settings. But I have not found such information anywhere about Yatour. Perhaps, to change these settings, you will need to look for where to solder the console or, in general, a low-level programmer. 1.6 Scope of delivery

The kit consists of a YATOUR device, one specific for each car, a connection wire, a 3.5mm AUX cable, an instruction manual.

In most cases, installing the adapter requires removing the factory radio in order to be able to connect a special cable. Some vehicles have the ability to connect through the front passenger's glove compartment. If the CD changer connector in the car radio is occupied by the plug from the TV tuner or the multiplex unit, then a tee cable is required when connecting the adapter (not included in the package)

2.2 Preparing and installing the adapter:

1. Format the flash drive with FAT 16/32 file system. There are no requirements for folder names.

Save music files in each folder, up to 999 songs in each folder.

2. Switch off the vehicle and remove the ignition key.

3. Dismantle the radio in order to gain access to the rear panel of the device. Some cars require special tools for this. If necessary, please consult with car dealers or auto studio specialists.

4. Connect one end of the car adapter cable (date cable) to the CD changer port on the back of the car radio. Make sure the connection is firm, but do not pinch it. Connect the other end to the YATOUR adapter.

5. For VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda cars with extra wire (GND). It is necessary to connect this wire under the bolt or frame (mass) of the car head unit.

6. To connect to car radios Nissan and Pioneer, in addition to connecting the main plug, you must connect two additional wires. ACC +12 volts when the ignition key is in ACC, BAT + 12 volts constant. It is only necessary to connect these wires to the power plug that goes to the car radio.

7. Turn on your radio and switch it to the CD changer mode using the Disk, Mode or CD button on the head unit (depending on the type of radio). The red indicator on the adapter turns on. The screen on the radio tape recorder should show the mode AUX - Disc 05, Track 55. Connect the previously prepared flash drive to the YATOUR adapter, after scanning Disc 01, Track 01 will play

8. After confirming that the adapter is working, proceed with the installation. If you have any problems with the installation, please refer to the Troubleshooting section. Find a place for the adapter. In most vehicles, the dashboard provides convenient installation locations.

9. Note: be sure to install the YATOUR adapter in a suitable place, so that when you put the radio in place, you will not break the adapter.You can use the glove compartment or other suitable place to expose the USB cables from the adapter to the outside.

10. Replace the head unit, making sure it is securely in place.

3. Troubleshooting.

3.1 The radio tape recorder does not recognize the YATOUR adapter

To connect the adapter to Peugeot / Citroen radios, you need to contact the official
dealer to activate the CD changer input.

In radio tape recorders Mazda Demio, Mazda 6 until 2005, it is possible to activate the CD changer input, it is necessary
disassemble the radio and solder the jumper (s). Seek advice from specialists.

In the Harrier / RX radio, after installing the adapter, you need to remove the battery terminal for 5-10 minutes.

3.2 The adapter does not "see" the flash drive.

The clusters on the flash drive are damaged. The computer sees such a flash drive. Unfortunately, the adapter will not see such a flash drive. You need to format the flash drive using a utility from the manufacturer of this flash drive, or use another flash drive for the adapter.

3.3 I added additional folders to the flash drive, but the adapter does not see them.

When recording new music files to a flash drive, you should activate AUX on the radio, then connect the flash drive.

On radios Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, it is possible to save only 6 folders to a flash drive.

Each folder can store up to 999 songs, the radio screen will display: 100 song
- track 01, 102 - 03, 133 - 34….

4. Guide for use

This device can work in two modes USB and AUX. To switch modes, you need:
• Turn off the radio or switch to another mode, such as radio.

• Wait until the indicator on the flash drive turns off.

• Disconnect the flash drive from the adapter.

• Connect the AUX wire to the adapter socket.

To switch tracks (songs), use the TREСK - .TRECK + buttons on the radio.

4.3 SCAN, RANDOM, REPEAT mode

SCAN - scanning a folder, tracks are played for 10 seconds.

RANDOM - tracks are played in random order.

REPEAT - automatic repeat of a track.
