Do-it-yourself rear-view mirror repair with a monitor

In detail: do-it-yourself repair of a rear-view mirror with a monitor from a real master for the site my.housecope.com.

My monitor with parking sensors went out. you click on it with your finger, it will turn on, then go out again. It is clear that there is no contact somewhere, but where?
I had to open the patient!
It turned out that there are a lot of unnecessary details in it! Oh, those Chinese ...

Eliminated the circuit from the board to the screen in the form of a loop and some kind of intermediate scarf - threw it into the firebox! So the uncomfortable building went there ...

I connected the main board directly to the screen ribbon cable, stuck it on the back with double-sided tape!

But it turned out not to be in the intermediate loop, but in the screen itself. The place where a bunch of contacts comes in or from where a bunch of contacts comes out is filled with sealant and there is no contact there.

I had to disassemble the screen itself, put a strip of 2-sided tape under the frame and put it back together, it seems while it works!

The rear-view mirror is one of the essential elements of every car. The main function of this part is to ensure safety during the operation of the machine. It is the mirrors that provide the driver with information about what is happening on the road in the sector behind the rear fenders and rear bumper.

The most common reason for replacing rear-view mirrors is the appearance of cracks as a result of impacts. First of all, this concerns the external elements of the view, since it is they who most often interfere with the movement of other road users. In most cases, both external and internal damage to the side mirrors can be avoided by installing a special decorative film. However, this method will not always be able to help out. Especially when it comes to hitting hard. Another reason for replacing outside mirrors is cable deformation. To install new cables, you will have to completely disassemble the part.
