The restoration process of a product will depend on the material from which it is made. So, acrylic dentures are glued using self-hardening resins, dichloroethane glue or a layer of polymerized plastic. Care for his condition should be carefully, using antiseptics and proteolytic enzymes that contribute to the rapid and high-quality removal of food debris and saliva.

Finally, do not forget about the toxicity of industrial glue, when it comes into contact with the human body, the risk of allergies and even poisoning increases sharply. That is why you need to think repeatedly before abandoning professional repairs.

The repair of plate structures, as well as the repair of metal-ceramic structures, does not take much time, usually it does not take more than one day. Preliminary measures begin with cleaning, after which the technician proceeds to the actual repair of the prosthesis. It is up to the patient to decide whether to use the services of professionals or try to do everything himself, but it should always be remembered that self-repair of dentures is fraught with potential complications and damage to the product.

Repair cases regarding dentures are divided into two categories: warranty and non-warranty. If we are talking about the shortcomings of the design itself, the insufficient quality of materials and errors in the manufacturing technology, then all these points fall into the category of warranty. Damage to the prosthesis due to careless handling as a result of any action, from falling to improper care, is not covered by the warranty. The decision on which category a particular case falls into is made as a result of a visual examination of the product, and if it is obvious that the prosthesis has broken through the fault of the clinic, then its repair is carried out at its expense.

Each prosthesis has its own warranty period, which is often due to the material of its manufacture, for example, nylon ones last longer than clasp ones, respectively, they also have a longer warranty period.

Non-warranty cases imply that repair work will be required. There are no fixed and unambiguous prices, but the average cost of correcting a removable prosthesis fluctuates between 800-900 rubles, the same price for the procedure for eliminating cracks. In the event of a fracture of the prosthesis, you will have to pay more, about one and a half thousand, soldering one tooth will cost around 1,800 rubles, while for each subsequent tooth the price will increase by about 300-500 rubles. If we are talking about ultrasonic cleaning, then its cost is based at about 500 rubles.

As you can see, the cost of the issue is not so high, at least the risk of breaking the product from self-repair does not outweigh the dubious financial benefits of this procedure.
