The clutch is single-plate, dry, with a central diaphragm spring. It is located in an aluminum crankcase, structurally integrated with the gearbox and attached to the engine block. The clutch cover is connected to the engine flywheel by six bolts. The casing is connected to the pressure (driving) disc by three pairs of elastic steel plates. This assembly (also called the clutch basket) is assembled to balance on the stand, so it is replaced entirely.
A diaphragm spring is installed in the casing. Replacing the "basket" is necessary when the pressure spring petals wear annularly, and if the ends of the petals are not at the same level. As soon as you slide the drive out, pull it out of the box. and cover the resulting holes with rags. If this is not done, all the oil will leak out. During the replacement, about half a liter leaked out.
Then we need to unscrew two bolts on the bottom of the box (they are all there in plain sight), but two on top in plain sight, and two invisible.
After performing all these manipulations, the box will remain hanging on the input shaft. We insert a flat screwdriver between it and the box and very carefully part it! Those who support the box from below should be prepared for the fact that after a few seconds a piece of iron weighing about 40 kilograms will fall on their hands. It is advisable to support the engine, since with the box removed it will only stand on one pillow.
And now the release bearing is finally in our hands! in order to collect everything back, do all the above steps in reverse order. We also advise you to immediately replace the clutch disc along with the bearing, since you will not soon want to repeat all these works anew.

adjust the thrust nut until the desired clearance is created, after which we fix it and check the size of the clearance;
we return the spring to its place;
we test our work - we start the engine, turn on the gear and gradually release the lever, the car should go approximately in the middle of the pedal travel.

And so the first thing we do is remove the battery and its pad. Remove the connector from the reverse sensor and remove the clutch slave cylinder.
