If the machine vibrates and makes a lot of noise during spinning or the engine hums without rotating the drum, it is often necessary to replace worn bearings. They are closed with oil seals and are located on the drum axis. When water enters under the oil seal, the bearing will fail.

Craftsmen who change this part perform the following procedures:

1. Disconnect the device from the network.
2. Drain off the water.
3. Remove the outer panels.
4. The drive belt, springs, pipes, temperature sensor and counterweight are disconnected from the tank.
5. The tank is disconnected, the pulley is removed from the drum.
6. The bearings are removed together with the drum shaft and disconnected from each other.
7. New bearings are installed and the machine is assembled.

Extraneous noise can also be produced by one of three factors:

Object is caught between the drum and the tub (remove it).

Loose pulley (requires bolt tightening).

Drive belt.

To correct the situation with the belt, the washing machine is disconnected from the mains and the water is drained. Then do the following:

Remove the back cover.

If the belt on the pulley and motor is torn or worn out, it is pulled towards itself while rotating the pulley.

The new belt is first put on the motor shaft.

The pulley is rotated by pulling the belt over it.

Adjust the edge of the belt so that it fits snugly in the grooves.

Carry out a test run of the machine.

The cause of any malfunction may be a malfunction of the electronic module or a short circuit of the triac that controls this element. The burned-out triac is changed, the tracks are "soldered" on the electronic module. In some cases, a module replacement is required.

The indicated malfunctions of the Zanussi washing machine can be corrected on your own, but only if you are at least a little versed in electrical engineering.
