The most famous brands in St. Petersburg are Ekotar and its varieties, Ecosoft Mix, AC + MC, Crystal-Right, Unique, Jyrbi-Mix, FiltroSmart and others. These mixtures are positioned as a kind of "know-how", although it is generally known that they were developed in the United States in the late 50s of the last century and were replaced by more high-tech products, such as water filters for the WaterBoss line.

Filtering mixtures attract an ordinary buyer, first of all, by their relatively low cost, which is very important in the context of the economic crisis. One of the frequent difficulties that arise when completely disassembling a water heater with your own hands can be the search for screws that fix the plastic cover. If you cannot find the attachment points, tear off the stickers found on this cover. Sometimes manufacturers hide the caps of self-tapping screws under the "nameplate".

When you dismantle the thermostat and all interfering wires, you can start loosening the bolts on the water heater. It is best to unscrew them with a socket wrench of the appropriate size.

In more expensive models of water heaters, when completely disassembled, you can see a bunch of wires and 2 heating elements installed next to each other.
